Sterling Pest Control

I had Sterling Pest Control service for my lawn, shrubs and home for about 4 years and just canceled because we have been having home pest problems. Their service was mediocre at best but good enough for the price. However, the past year we began seeing roaches regularly (one or two a week) inside our home. I spoke with Stacy a couple of times and she responded very quickly so we continued our service. However, after this last service, we began noticing ants in our home in multiple places.

I began treating with Terro ant bait to immediately combat the problem. Today, I found our pantry full of ants and began baiting again. (I, obviously, was not going to allow ants to roam all over my pantry until Sterling could show up.) I called Sterling to cancel my service. Tim asked me why and I told him I am not happy with their service and why.

He became very rude and told me that I didn't have regular callbacks and that I should have at least come up with a "real" reason for canceling. No apologies that I have to throw out numerous items in my pantry, just snide comments. I am including pictures of my pantry--not just for other customers but so Tim from Sterling, who implied that I was lying, can see evidence and reflect on just how rude and offensive he was to a customer. This is what you can expect with Sterling Pest Control. Bad service all the way around. (Except Stacy who is actually very nice and responsive.)

Antonio responded very quickly and sorted out the rat issue over two visits. Very professional and gives advice on how to rectify the issue, been rat free since! Highly recommended. Service: Rodent extermination

Let me personally recommend that you don't use them. They are completely unprofessional. Person answering the phone, to the techs, have no customer service skills. Front desk person insisted there isn't a way to contact them via there website. Go to https://sterlingpestcontrol.com/contact-us/ You will see there is an option except it doesn't work.

I called Sterling and spoke w/a lady named Jennifer. I told her of my situation w/the roaches in my gift shop and asked if someone could come take and look and let me know what it would cost me to treat. I sent her all of the information in which she said she sent to the dispatcher and would have someone out in a day or two to assess. After a week of waiting, no call, no nothing, I called back and spoke w/Jennifer again.

She then informed me that she did send it to the dispatcher but apparently he decided it wasn't something they were interested in. THANKS FOR THE NO SHOW, NO CALL, NO SERVICE, NO NOTHING!

We had been with Terminix for 17 years and, gradually, their service diminished over time. We were not happy with them and wanted to find a good, local exterminator. We found it at Sterling Pest Control. Their customer service has been exceptional so far and the owner Tim is beyond accommodating. Very professional. They're helping us right now with a carpenter ant issue that had built up on Terminix's watch. We've been extremely impressed how responsive Sterling is and the lengths they go to eliminate the problem. Can't say enough good things about these guys and especially about Tim (which says a lot to us, as he runs the business) - highly recommend them to anyone!

Having a pest, lawn or rodent problem can cause a homeowner or renter many hours of frustration and being that we live in the great state of Florida, the market is littered with options. From bright yellow cars with mouse ears, to Jim Bob's Critters, etc etc the list goes on and on. Making the right selection isn't always easy. What do you look for?

How long the business has been open doesn't always bode confidence. If you're looking for the one-stop shop that focuses on its client's home or business and best interests, look no further. Sterling Pest Control Orlando has been around for longer than most, hiring only the most experienced and highly recommended. For instance, Kevin J. Kevin has years of experience at other companies and has brought his work ethic and tact to Sterling, making him one of the most highly revered employees here. Also, Scott, is one of the most knowledgeable, courteous members of the team that I've had the pleasure of interacting with.

Long story short, having a pest problem isn't the end of the world, especially with Sterling Pest Control right around the corner. Give Scott or Kevin a call with your issue and you can mark my words that they will go above and beyond to rectify the issue, post haste. I definitely recommend to everyone!

I have been using Sterling Pest Control for about 2 years now and they have been absolutely awesome. Always on time, never ever charged me more than quoted and their staff is always polite and knowledgeable. I will continue to use them and refer them to my friends and clients.

I would not recommend this company to any one I know for the following reasons: Over-budget - they will give you an extremely low quote but then inflate "additional services" they deem necessary to make up for their low bid Missed Deadlines - they do not start on time so they do not finish on time; they tell you deadlines and blow past them and just give you endless excuses about other jobs they are working having "unforeseen problems" that they must attend to; we were initially told two weeks and it ended up being 31 days Workmanship - no one is perfect and is not expected to be. however, we now have new problems that were not there before. our fans had to be taken down so they could scrape and texture our ceilings but now we are having electirical issues due to the rewire cleanliness/professionalism - our house smelled like cigarettes because he smoked on property, we found liquor bottles and half-drank rum and cokes in our kitchen and our lawn and bushes have trash and paint in them customer service - he just started screaming at my wife when she asked him to touch up some missed areas of paint, he would just hang up on you when you called to get an update on the job, and he threatened me on more than one ocassion including tell me what he does to people who do not think he does a good job.you would think he was joking but he was dead serious leadership - i think that it is great that they backup and support their employees, but when their response is "i don't care, pay me" then i have a problem with the way they run their business this is the worst experience i have had and would under no circumstance recommend this company to anyone. do yourself a favor, save yourself some time/money/stress, and protect the investment that is your home and avoid this compnay at all costs.
