Back then our first service vehicle was a VW Bug, but things have grown a little since then. I used Bug Master's services for about 3 months. I decided I was going to manage insect spraying myself because I didn't see the value in what they were providing and still was regularly seeing insects get into my home. When I reached out to them to request to cancel they informed me I was locked into a 12 month contract and they didn't offer any outs which wasn't clear to me when I signed up.
Careful before you start working with them because they'll hold you hostage with a long term contract and seem to be inflexible with this. Personally in the future I'd prefer to find a company that has a bit more leniency with their contracts.

Jvon helped us out today! He was amazing, really made the company look fantastic, he had called us in advance to let us know he was coming, kept a professional and friendly demeanor and did a phenomenal job helping us out. I have had my Apartment Complex's serviced by Bug Master for several years. Some ups and downs, but have mostly received good service until now. I have had several missed appointments resulting in residents being notified for treatements they never received. I've noticed a turn over in Technicians and have been contacted by some of my previous Technicians who have asked for me to transfer my accounts to them. I am awaiting a call back from the Operations Manager and will be giving them another chance to get back on track.

This review is for Joey! Joey has been our service provider for our last three homes. He has been doing the pest service for us for well over 15 years. He has been in my home so many times I consider him a friend. He takes his job seriously; he is professional, kind and he knows what he is doing. He hasn't been to our current home for some time. I have had random providers lately and although they do a good job they are not as thorough as Joey. This guy deserves a promotion and a raise! If not only for his customer service but also his commitment to the Bug Master Company.

It was time for my every other month service today and I also signed up for the Mosquito treatment as Bug Master was running a special. My technician was Daniel and HE WAS AWESOME and EXTREMELY thorough! He arrived on time, listened to my input and then proceeded to do the services. I really like that he did not rush the service and I was so impressed that he did the mosquito treatment on the ENTIRE YARD - my parents have a HUGE lot. Daniel did not cut corners, he even knocked down old wasp nests, spider webs. If all of Bug Master's technicians are like David (first 2 services) and Daniel you will not be disappointed. But I have to say Daniel was 10 stars!

I just moved in and noticed a bug issue. I called bug master. They were polite and I felt like they were very knowledgeable of the situation. The technician arrived on time and listened carefully to my concerns. He was very thorough in his investigation. I believe he went above and beyond with insuring my satisfaction. Bryan was very Friendly, professional and took time to explain what he was going to do. Rod did the initial evaluation was great too. I only gave 4 stars as the treatment was done Yesterday. Time will Tell! I will update after a few days. Update! Bryan was back today. Once again was friendly and answered all our questions. The service was a great success. Thanks Bryan and The Bug Master! I gave this company a 1 star based on the fact that they charged me twice, not only did they do this, but they did it WITHOUT me authorizing any automatic payments. Which means they stored my card information without my knowledge. I cancelled their services immediately after only 3 months. Other than that, they showed up when they were suppose to and their technician did everything he should.

These guys have EXCELLENT customer service! At first I had an issue with the 2nd technician that came to my house. He had a bad attitude and didn't address my concerns at all. So I figured I'd blow them off and find another company. The owner, Kyle, reached out to me and we talked about my concerns and he assured me that the one technician didn't represent their values (he apparently was let go) then asked what he could do for me to keep me as a customer.
A couple days later Nathaniel came to my house and we discussed what I expected and WOW! He's our new technician! I'm really glad they reached out to me so I could get this resolved!

I misunderstood the contract and even though I was the one at fault, they provided me additional assistance to ensure we were well taken care of. We had 3 different services and each of the service men were highly professional, kind, and informative. We appreciate the service and will recommend this company to anyone that will need it.

This was a very unfortunate experience. Not only did the worker cause some minor damage but the owner completely took no responsibility and it was horrible. Would not recommend and will report to BBB. Said they had pic of something but I never saw and I had to followup with them and again would not recommend. Another pest control company called them to hp get info they said they had and even suggested I try someone else as they were concerned after speaking to owner

Bummed on this place. The service men were super nice - - but we were given misinformation about what to do before and after the treatment - - for fleas! The document they sent via email was the most easily missed super important piece of the information I can imagine. Disappointing response from manager. Ugh. Moving forward with another provider in town.

My technician Paul is always awesome and has always tried to do whats best for the control of ants at my house. i have been having ANT treatments that are very pricey for 9 months now with NO relief. The last few months the office says a "field manager" will come out and help Paul assess the situation. Has not happened yet. At what point do I give up on them?
If not now, it will be real soon. I can get the same results taking care of it on my own. Money down the drain. ALOT OF MONEY, I'm not talking $40 a month way more, and the initial treatment was crazy!

First of all, I trust them. I'm comfortable with Jesse walking around my home, I believe what he tells me and I trust in their product. They are fairly priced and professional. This summer will be a good test to see if a year of mosquito and roach treatments have made a difference! Looking forward to their help with new products for my back yard.

I have been using The Bug Master's services for about a year now and am very pleased with them. Their technicians are friendly and knowledgeable as are their customer service reps. They come out quarterly and in the event that it rains within a few days after a treatment, they will come out again. Plus, they are local and I love to support Austin businesses.

The online scheduling is not what it appears. Even after you confirm what date/time you'd like, and wait two days for the technician to phone, he/she has no knowledge of the time you've already set up online which turns out to be a complete waste of time. You would likely be better served by going to a more reliable/national provider like Orkin or Terminix. That's what we ended up doing. (See follow Up) Follow Up: Jesse the owner seemed very interested in resolving this. Which, is of course, the most any business owner can do - and for that we commend the folks at Bug Master. I provided my feedback to help them gather and retain future customers.

It's been a rough road trying to get this company to take care of our problem. Unfortunately this is the company my condos decided to use to try to remove roof rats from our attic. Since the beginning, they have missed apts now three times. They make the apt and then just don't show up! Call 2 hours later to move my apt from 8 am Monday to 8 am Friday.
Clearly they don't care about showing up when they say they will, nor do they care if they take care of the problem in a reasonable amount of time. Go to J&J pest control. I can highly recommend you NOT using Bugmasters BUT instead J&J is ALWAYS on time and ALWAYS does great work.

I've been using The Bug Master for at least 5 years in two different homes-using both the green service and traditional services. I am always impressed with their technician, John, who is professional, knowledgeable, courteous and on-time. The best part is NO BUGS! I live in a very old pier and beam house in Central Austin and am always surprised that I RARELY see any bugs.
I know the service I pay for includes both inside pest control and around the house outside (which is extensive and works well-we've crawled under the house many times and found nothing scary under there!). Bugmaster does a quarterly service where they send me emails to let me know I'm on their schedule and confirm appointments. They warrant their work and will come out more often if I see a spider in the house. Previously, I tried at least three other pest control companies--all left me an unsatisfied customer.
