Critters Inc. is a culmination of the development of four distinct companies founded over 20 years ago. In 1996, Crit R Gitters Wildlife and Pest Control was started by Daniel "Buck" Wiese. During the start-up of the company, we performed residential wildlife control, specialized in rural agricultural wildlife control and pest management.
Mice - Mice are extremely good at finding their way into both homes and businesses. Believe it or not, mice can fit through holes the width of a pencil. Since they are known carriers of Salmonella and Weil's disease, it's never good to have them in your living or working environment. Telltale signs of a mouse infestation include droppings, unexplained holes, and scratching noises in the walls and ceiling.
Typically the first sign of a bat infestation is witnessing a bat in the living space of your home, attic, or even roosting in the eaves of your property. Since bats are nocturnal, if you notice a group of them during the day in your attic and leaving at dusk to feed - you definitely have a bat infestation.
If you see a group of bees like the one pictured to the left, call Bee Force immediately! Let us help you determine if they are in fact honey bees or another type of bee or wasp. This is my first online business review. Beware. I was charged a ridiculous 125 dollars be told there is a possible animal in the hole with evidence of a few hairs, so stick a bucket in the hole myself. I requested a camera to know the approximate dimensions of the hole and verification of a possible animal in the hole and an estimate for filling in the hole. I received no response. Unskilled service for a ridiculous amount of money to be told stick a bucket in the hole. Save your money and get service elsewhere is my advice.

A few years ago I had to call Crit R Gitters on Easter morning to come and remove what appeared to be an ill skunk. They came immediately and handled the situation. This past summer we had a very large wasp nest up in a tree and again they came quickly and took care of everything. I will always highly recommend them.

They claim they did a thorough investigation of my apartment after I heard bats above the drop ceiling & in the walls. They never removed any drop ceiling tiles to look, they only checked the roof to see how well everything was sealed. it's about $100 for this "investigation". They got there money & don't seem to care that I'm still hearing bats. Wouldn't a thorough investigation include removing drop ceiling tiles to look?
The companies response was that "they don't tear apart people's houses to investigate". Really? The cable man removed a drop ceiling tile to get my cable working, how is that "tearing apart" anything? They claim they've been doing investigations for years, but there work proves otherwise. I would not recommend this company to any friend or family based on my experience. Also, my landlord paid this company & now they are trying to say that because I didn't pay, I'm not a customer.
