Paul, now the sole owner, is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with extensive training in Entomology and Integrated Pest Management. In 2010 the National Pest Management Association awarded Minuteman with the Quality Pro designation, which is a national recognition of excellence in pest management.

In 1976, Paul DeBettencourt and Matthew Zacarian founded Minuteman Pest Control Co, Inc. The company was founded on the principles of providing its customers with a quick and reliable service. Minuteman provides a personal integrated approach to pest management. This approach is based on a thorough knowledge of account maintenance, sanitation, and targeted pesticide use (if necessary) to achieve the best possible results at a fair price. As a last resort if pesticides have to be used, the least hazardous materials will be selected and targeted to the problem area.
Minuteman Pest Control has been serving the community for its pest control needs since 1976. We pride ourselves on using the least invasive approach for protecting your home. We offer maintenance services such as, but are not limited to: seasonal exterior treatments for the control of carpenter ants, as well as other invading insects, programs for mice, annual inspections, problem wildlife removal, preventive services and much much more. We believe every home is different. We do not believe in a "one size fits all" treatment or service plans.
Minuteman Pest Control is devoted to working with its commercial clients to help achieve the ultimate pest protection plan. We eliminate rats, mice, cockroaches, pigeons, or any other pest problems you might have. Our goal is total elimination and prevention of pests. Logbooks for pest sightings to be noted in between service as well as reports to be filed by the technician after his visit. We have been serving commercial clients and the community for 40 years and take great pride in our work.
Small holes in wood, crumbling drywall, sagging doors or floors, insect wings, and small mud tubes are some of the more obvious potential signs of termites. The qualified pest professionals at Minuteman have the necessary training in termite biology and behavior to identify, prevent, or responsibly treat termite problems before they get out of control.

One morning I woke up to hear something in my basement running around on the heating ducts. I have to tell you it scared the ba-jesus out of me. I called Minuteman Pest Control and left a message. I didn't take to long before someone called me back. Long story short, the Animal Control Agent, Paul Hewes called me and we meet at my house. He was great.
Quickly found the chipmunk, found where the little devil was getting into my house and closed up the hole. What a relief it was knowing that it couldn't get back in. Paul was easy going, professional and very helpful. He was my HERO!

My technician Matthew was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and not sales driven. He listened attentively, asked questions and was focused on making me feel comfortable with the solution, presenting multiple options. The team at Minuteman Pest Control are wonderful. They were able to perform an inspection that met the rigorous guidelines of the VA. The inspector arrived early and completed the entire process within a reasonable amount of time. Copies of the inspection were provided once completed. Definitely recommend doing business with this locally based Veteran Owned company.

This company has real expertise in the field, with degrees in entomology. They inspected my house and found no issues, which gave me piece of mind. Other companies wanted me to sign up for a quarterly or monthly contract even before they came to my house, and they would treat the house with chemicals I didn't need. I highly recommend Minuteman.

I am extremely pleased with quickness and seriousness minuteman pest control has had with dealing with bug infestation. I dropped off a sample and within the hour had an identification of the bug and a treatment plan. They are extremely prompt in response and knowledge in treatment for bug issues. I felt that i was treated honestly and fairly. I would recommend this company to anyone having a bug issue. Along with that the front desk staff were also extremely friendly and helpful!
