Had them out for mice control. They inspected the house inside and out and suggested an 'exclusion' service. I paid, and they came to fill the gaps in our exterior with steel wool. No change in mice activity, so they came back.again and again, half a dozen times. Finally they sent a manager, and he said we had mice coming in our foundation. No refund for the original exclusion when it never had a chance of success (it was their job to inspect the foundation in the first place!); and then tried to charge me $5000 MORE to fix the foundation.
It's like a doctor putting a band-aid on a paper cut, and ignoring the bullet wound beside it. As other reviews have said, the staff themselves are friendly and professional.but it's clear that the business model is "yes, we can fix it" no matter what, and charge you regardless of outcome.

Excellent customer service. Zeke, our technician, is great! He does his work efficiently and effectively. He's friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Our dog, Fergus, loves him. I have used Cooper Pest service for the last 3 years and finally cancelled my service with them. They have unfairly over charged me for services that were not provided so be sure to read through your bill or monthly statement as they frequently over charge. I have not seen a single service at my house since November '21 however they continue billing me.
When I called their customer service staff, I got a vague "this is company policy" response. Also they advertise to be a "green" company which they are not - the solutions/ stations/ sprays that are installed are toxic and often dangerous to pets and small children. Beware before you sign up with Cooper.

Please never use this company. It is a fraud. Their customer service department does not know what they are doing. I scheduled their service online and they never showed up as well as they had no record of me however they charged my credit card right away. I had to call them 5 times and every time the wait is 20min with annoying music. Finally had to cancel and i am not sure if i am going to get my money back. Will be disputing it with my bank.

I am a property manager and have moved all my extermination services over to Cooper for many reasons. First and foremost, if ever there is a problem, I simply call and actually SPEAK to someone who schedules immediately. The techs actually view the properties and point out areas of need. Very responsive and very professional and friendly! Highly recommend Cooper!

I don't know why this company has such high ratings. I would give them a zero if I could. I called, explained our situation and was told a tech would come out. We were told that he would inspect our house and if he couldn't do anything, he would tell us what we needed to do and point us in the right direction. He came out, inspected and I gave him a check.
He said if we had any problems, to call and he would come back. Well, our problem was not fixed, I called, and they said they would send him again, AT NO CHARGE. By the time he came again my check still was not cashed and the tech that came out said that the last time he was here he forgot to treat an area, which is why we might still have problems.
He treated it at the second visit, told me he would locate my check, (that may be lost in his truck) and that he would come back out in a week. As soon as he left I received a call that they had to bill us at half price, after being told it was at no cost to us. FINE! Well needless to say, my check has never been cashed, the tech never came back and I have now received 2 invoices that are incorrect as we were charged FULL PRICE after being told the second visit was at half price.
I reached out to the guy that scheduled us and he said he would look into it. As of today, my check has never been cashed, I have been over charged for my second visit, I never heard back from the guy that was 'looking into it' and we still have pest problems. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS COMPANY! UPDATE: I spoke with someone in December and was told that our bill was going to be wiped clean. I have received 2 more invoices and now there is a late charge. Left a voicemail that was never returned and now I have to call again. I would give them a ZERO if I could.

I highly recommend Cooper. They use eco-friendly products and their products work amazing! I had mice in my tenants apartment and after one visit they have NEVER returned. I have Cooper Pest Solutions do Termite Inspection at my home. I have been with them for at least 6 years. I am very unhappy with them and may start looking for another company. Previously checking on their site the last time they were here was in July, 2021. Yet they take their fee with no service being performed. Finally called and was told that someone would be down in December, 2021.
They did send someone down to inspect the termite traps. They have been paid on time from July, 2021 thru new bill January, 2022. I am not sure how many if any other customers have this problem. I FEEL THEY OWE ME REFUNDS FOR SERVICE NOT PERFORMED.

Living in an apartment complex we requested a pest service since we noticed a roach in our kitchen. Technician was to come out on Monday and perform service. Wife was home - dog was loose - sign was left on the door for technician to ring the doorbell for access - chain also was on the door so access needed an inside party. The technician was given a key by the leasing office to enter the apartments for the day that he needed. Technician states that he entered the apartment ignoring the sign, was able to get the chain off the door, entered the apartment with the dog loose (leasing office stated they don't under if the dog isn't in the crate or put in a room). Said the apartment had no activity and was able to exit the apartment once again by putting the chain back on the door.
The following day which is today. The technician continues to state that he came here and he was able to do all of that bypass the door with a chain on it and someone home. Very shady business practice.

When i contracted them they informed me that due to shortage of staff they have not serviced sine April for last 7 months. But no one bothered to tell me and they kept charging me the monthly fee. Absolute scam artists who want nothing more than your money. Tried to use scare tactics to get a couple thousand, and gave the most extortionate quote in order to "fix the problem". The company refuses to certify their own work and will only redo the whole treatment process instead of certifying their own previous treatments to confirm effectiveness of their work! Weird!

Tom has consistently gone above and beyond to make sure that both of my properties that you treat are right, even popping in randomly because he's in the area just to check on the results of recent treatments. It's clear that he cares about the results and making sure that I'm happy with the work that has been done.
It makes my life easier with his interest and thoroughness in your processes. Last week, Brandon was scheduled to perform a routine service. I had to reschedule on short notice and he was accommodating to return 2 days later. The unexpected happened and I discovered a snake in my basement, ironically, while he was in the home at our agreed upon return time.
A heating company had been working there earlier the same day and left my cellar open for an extended period of time, creating an opportunity for the snake to enter. I screamed for help and without hesitation, Brandon immediately sprung to action. We sort of laughed for a split second because he said he had never encountered that situation on the job but instinctively grabbed the snake and removed it.
He could have easily said that's not something he handles but instead chose to be proactive. I can not say enough good things about your technicians. Besides the fact that the treatments have been effective in managing my pest situations, it's been refreshing to have good people who I can trust performing the work. Thank you.

Every poor review here is what I dealt with. Cooper will not return my call as I would assured would happen. The people who do answer the phones have no interest in helping customers. I pay for a yearly service and ask them to come out and deal with a swarm of ladybugs. These bugs are winter bugs as they said and somehow not covered in my plan. Very underhanded not to include based on something they knew exactly about. Pick any other pest company and I'm certain they are better than this crew.

I think the intensive package is too expensive. Its the same # of treatments, and I am sure the spray they use is the same for basic treatment, so why pay more? It should just be 1 year long price, and then pay extra if you need extra service for a specific pest. Technician was courteous and arrived on time. Very polite and explained everythinghe was planning on doing. He went around the house, and I am assuming he sprayed like he said he did, but i did not see him do it.

Just started with Cooper Pest a few weeks ago, and hoping for a positive resolution given a reasonable time frame. What I DO like is the ability to call in at any time in between scheduled service should you experience a problem or have an emergency, and there is an On-call manager to address your concerns ASAP. In speaking to the last manager on call back, there seemed to be a genuine effort on his part to devise an alternate solution when their current regimen needed to be more aggressive.

Cooper Pest Control sprayed the outside of my house for yellow jackets (they were entering my house). After 10 days, the nest was active again and I had 5 yellow jackets flying around my house. When I called Cooper, they told me they couldn't get anyone out to my house for 5 days. I had a guarantee for this job and this was an emergency. They told me they MAY get a cancellation and then they would fit me in.
I could not wait for them and I had to pay another company who understood the urgency and came out immediately and took care of the problem. When I tried to call Cooper again to talk to a manager, they told me Ron would call me back. That was a week ago - haven't heard from Ron. I gave a bad review online to Cooper and they contacted me and said someone would be calling me - haven't heard from anyone. Do yourself a favor and call anyone else. DO NOT USE COOPER PEST CONTROL!

I have had a service contract with this pest company for the past three years. No customer service whatsoever! Appointments are scheduled and no one shows up. I leave messages on the phone- no one returns my call. The only reason we've maintained the service is that Usman, the technician who's assigned to our home, does an excellent job when he does appear. But it's so aggravating dealing with Cooper- the lack of communication and the errors in scheduling make this a company you should avoid!

If I could rate the company with zero stars i would. We made an appointment for bee removal a week in advance. The appointment was between the hours of 12-5. Then received a call back the day before saying that they would need from 8-5 to appear for the appointment. The day of the appointment we waited in from 8 to 6 with no call as of what the status of the appointment was?
The next day, no call. I had to call them and was not able to talk with the area that had schedule the appointment because they were busy? There are many pest control companies in NJ. This company has been a nightmare to work with. The past two months have been filled with no-shows, multiple unanswered calls, terrible follow-up scheduling, and to top it off a major mistake leading to our house being infested with wasps. They've acknowledged their mistake with the wasps but are making us wait 10 days to finish treating the problem they created.

Called on a Monday for hornet problem- got an appointment for two days later from 8AM-12Noon. No one showed- called multiple times, each time asking to speak to a manger. In a time when good Customer Service is so hard to find, I cannot say enough about the people I dealt with at this office. Mary was fantastic when I first contacted Cooper for a Yellow Jacket issue. She was so friendly, personable and helpful. She really sounded like she cared. She made sure someone was out the next day to take care of the issue. She even followed up with me a few days later to see how everything went. Melvin who did the exterminating was just as awesome.
So friendly and personable and funny. He was extremely efficient and gave me quite the lesson on bees and the process. Even when I had to call the office regarding a credit card issue, John & the other lady I spoke with (sorry I cannot remember her name) were so nice and friendly. Over 2 years now, we used Coopers various services. Home Intensive for Ants cause when we first moved into our home ants had claimed the home as their own . Termite monitoring and the Overwintering service which we had to endure stink bugs 2 years in a row and then Cooper worked their magic last year.we only saw 3 stink bugs! Wow! And and ant problem is no longer a problem inside!
So far I'm so pleased with everything and highly recommend. We've had a few technicians handle our services and literally every single one has been great. Courteous and knowledgeable. Special shout out to James L. (Jim) Cause we've interacted with him the most and he's fantastic! Incredibly personable and super attentive. He knows his stuff.

I had a mouse problem. Contacted Cooper and they came with indoor traps. The mice did not leave, in fact the traps drew more in as they were a food source. The exterminator came every month and went down in the basement for 20 minutes to refill the traps. After I complained they came out and looked for holes and plugged one. Still more mice came. We got rid of Cooper.
More mice came and we use sticky traps which are horrible. Finally we wedged steel wool into every crevice outside and viola no more mice for months now. Don't use them. They solved nothing.

Fantastic! Our sellers left us a pretty nasty carpenter bee problem that had to be taken care of ASAP. Cooper contacted me back within an hour of me leaving a message and gave me a great price. Came out the next day, sprayed not only the area with the carpenter bees but any spot on the house that looked concerning. Haven't seen the bees back and we have less wasps too. They also said they will come back out if the problem continues (but it sure looks like it's been dealt with!)

This is the third time I've used Cooper Pest Solutions and I've rarely been as satisfied with a company as I am with Cooper. Mary, whom I spoke with on the phone to set up a treatment for carpenter bees was beyond friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. She arranged a service appointment for me the very next day, making a particular effort to schedule a time that was convenient for me.
She also sent me additional useful information about natural pest deterrents. Jim and Ben arrived as scheduled to perform the service, and graciously agreed to get rid of an old wasp next which was not even part of the contract. I've seen only one bee since they left (there had been dozens prior to the treatment), although they informed me it might take a week or so before the problem was completely eliminated.
A representative from some other pest control company had approached me prior to my enlisting Cooper and that rep told me he could provide one treatment for carpenter bees, and the treatment "might help, " but that he could offer no warranty about that. Cooper will come back to retreat if it's necessary for well over a year at no additional cost. (Same price as the guys who would warranty nothing.) I couldn't recommend any company I've dealt with in years as highly as I would Cooper.

I called Cooper pest control because I heard something like crawling and scratching in my attic which was loud and scary so one staff member came to check it out. He informed me nothing is up there. So they took the payment and left. One day passed and our family hears the same noises so we called our own handy man to check it out. He found a nest and a a big hole coming from outside. I'm really upset with the company because they charged us saying nothing is up and they cashed the check. They are not returning our calls and putting us on hold. I can't say enough about this company. They gave me and my husband our peace of mind and rest back. We had a bed bug situation that we tried to remedy and failed until Cooper got in volved. After a few treatments our entire home is now bug free. They were professional, courteous and dependable. We didn't have to discard any of our furniture. I recommend them highly.

We started Cooper mosquito service at the beginning of June. With this service, we were promised anti-mosquito spray every 3 weeks and a guarantee of no mosquito bites during the time of service. This has NOT been the case whatsoever. After the 1st spray in early June, a week later, I was bitten multiple times on our front lawn. We called Cooper about the situation but they didn't come out to spray within the 24 hours window as guaranteed. Additionally, Cooper never came out to spray on the 3 weeks mark.
Last Wednesday, I called Cooper to question about the timeline of spray as it's been more than 4 weeks since they last sprayed. During that call, I made an official complaint and Gissel left me a voicemail the next day and offered us a credit toward our September bill. Thank you. However, what I was also looking for is to know that I will get the spray every 3 weeks, and that someone will come out within 24 hours if there is a bite. I would really appreciate it if someone can contact me to discuss this. Thank you.

I paid 1200 bucks. They told me I had a mouse problems. Claimed to seal all areas and put traps. And check until no activity. Had multiple mice after that. I continued to contact Cooper and received the same response that someone would contact me. Throughout the day that I inquired that my wife was off waiting for the technician not one person called me back. This is really how you operate. Anyone who considers calling them for service should think twice. TERMINEX is the company to contact. THANK YOU FOR NOTHING Just a side note for Coopers response. Terminex responded and arrived at 730 the next business day.
This is Customer service not the actions taken by Cooper Pest Control. You will have an opportunity to see my review every day to inform the public on the lack of customer service your Company Cooper provides. An absolute pleasure working with Terminex To the Public. I have a signed Contract with Terminex. Cooper Pest Control should investigate the time to find another line of work.
I will definitely provide friendly advise when searching for an Exterminator. GO TO THE TERMINATOR. BETTER RESULTS. Really Glen. Still waiting for the phone. call however you your team must be too busy. Absolutely a low class operation run by incompetent m as Management. Well my service has been completed by terminex. A very qualified professional company that actually showed up to the house and completed the service in contrast who totally ignored their commitment after confirming an appointment with me. Terminex prices were reasonably and very responsive. COOPER is absolutely not business oriented and lacks the customer service skills that are honored in the Terminex approaches their customers.
Thank you Terminex. Great doing business with you. Cooper would receive a negative rating from my experience. Whoever Glen is should be fired for not addressing customer concerns. Cooper is absolutely the worst company I ever had work at my house. Those who are considering Cooper should examine their options.

We have been using Cooper since 2016. They are extremely professional. The entire staff is friendly. Our technician listens to our concerns. Their mosquito and tick spray is very effective. We've had 4 virtually mosquito free summers and no tick bites. They take care of everything, inside and out. We have them spray the entire house exterior, garage and shed for bees, wasps and carpenter bees. We've had very little activity. Wasps and bees do not linger in the yard or around the house.
Two years ago we had an ant issue and they came out the next day and laid bait. We have not seen an ant since. Included in our program is an interior spray. Whatever they use, it works. In 4 years we've hardly seen a spider or any other insects. We highly recommend Cooper!

We've been using these guys since 2015 and our experience has generally been very positive. It's easy to set up appointments, the staff is knowledgeable, and they're great about timely follow up visits to tackle problems. That said, our satisfaction primarily lies with the quality of the technician they send and it's definitely varied over the years. We've had 5 different people service our house since 2015.
Some techs are very proactive and try to find the source and causes of problems and some are content to just spray and be on their way. The problem solvers are invaluable of course, but there seems to be a lot of turnover so the good guys often disappear. In any case, I'm definitely a fan of Cooper Pest. They do quality work and they provide good value for the money. I would absolutely recommend them.
