The technician ran through my house just spraying corners. The manager came back with him and seemed concerned at first, but he wouldn't return calls. Very unprofessional company and the results reflected their non commitment to customer satisfaction.

Active Pest Control has been a blessing for my family and my pets! We love being able to go outside and not be bothered by mosquitoes and other insects, as well as not worrying about my dogs attracting fleas and ticks. Had a few services with this company, first service they stuck around and covered all areas of the house, did a great job. Second service the ring door bell showed them use a duster on the entrance way of my home and was all they did. 3rd visit the ring showed them hanging the door hanger and walking directly back to vehicle. No change in any ant hills or anything else bug related.

Better off going to the store and getting bug spray/traps on your own. Which I had to do after the first service. Signing with this company makes you commit to a contract with a 210 dollar cancellation fee. Which you will owe back even with video proof of bad service. Just a piece of mind if you are looking for a pest control company.

Justin has been inspecting my rental property for the past 3-4 years and he goes above and beyond. I've had a contract with Active for 2 years. If I have an issue, they come right out and take care of it. The technician is so nice and friendly (he even brought.y empty trash cans up from the road!). I think it's kind of expensive each month, but the service is great so I pay it. Services: Hornet & wasp extermination, Termite extermination, Termite inspection, Cockroach extermination

I love the people that come to spray. I have an account for direct billing and put money in as an apt or bill is coming up. They came out to spray ( not a regular schedule one) so there was suppose to be no charge. And oops sorry we billed you and they bounced that account, and oh sorry we will give you back your money in 7-14 business days that we took and shouldn't have. Oh and sorry for the the bounce fee. So as far as their customer service and billing, not recommended at all.

These guys have been great. Mark has come out several times to inspect window seals before I put new windows in. Matt our technician does a fantastic job spraying each month to prevent bugs. Every time they would come they would mess the yard up end mess mulch up and when we stopped service they ripped the traps up ruining my garden, mulch and leaving dirt everywhere including the drive way. They are super unprofessional. Thank you for ruining my yard that I spend ALOT of money on.

Cancelled after two year contract "VIP" service. Had to call them for ant problems. Sold on the premise that they would take care of fire ants, they did not, even after reminding them that they said they would. Very expensive for the "VIP" service received. Go elsewhere.

I paid for services and have email proof of no resolution despite me making great efforts to communicate. An alleged fogging occurred when no one was here, hundreds of dollars spent and the problem has only gotten worse. I hired 3 independent companies to come out and examine Active Pest Control's work and they have all stated and agreed that Active has done nothing that a professional should to treat the issue.

Setting out bait and using a growth inhibitor is apparently NOT the correct treatment for German Roaches. Furthermore, the manager, John Buckley, took WEEKS to reply and never offered any apologies. In fact, he gave me quite a bit of attitude.

Horrible customer service and dispatch system. We signed up for quarterly maintenance. They scheduled the first appointment and the guy was on time and listened to our concerns. It was a nightmare after that. Three months later we came home to a sign in our yard saying the maintenance had been performed. They never scheduled an appointment and treated our yard (the only space accessible) without our permission.

They did the same on the third visit. My wife is an avid gardener. We have over 100+ species of plant in our yard. They were asked on the initial consult to never treat the yard. We have living soil and use lady bugs and other insects to keep unwanted species out of the garden areas. When they treated those areas they wiped out all good species causing aphid and spider mite infestations.

On top of that we have free range chickens who eat throughout the yard. Bugs killed by insecticide eaten by chickens can pass trace amounts of chemicals into their eggs. Bottom line. they want the money but don't want to provide quality service. They don't make appointments on follow up visits, and they charge you for things you didn't ask for. or worse that you told them not to do.

We refused to pay the second bill. Asked them to terminate the service. They never terminated the service and instead did another follow up visit a third time, once again spraying our yard and destroying our ecosystem. And again. charged us for something we asked them not to do; and never treated the inside of the house.

The special consideration shown to me by Juan, the Manager of Home Repairs for the Wildlife Division, was greatly appreciated. His attention to detail resulted in solving a few leftover problems. He carried out his work with a high degree of professionalisn, He turned what would have been a disappointing situation into one that left me feeling uplifted and ready to continue making improvements in my home.

He went out of his way to refine the crawl space door into a tight fit and one that was in the style of the previous door plus bring the exact color of paint. I was very happy with the result! You are fortunate to have a man with his standards working for you.

We have been using their service for a year now. They came out immediately when I asked them to spray for pears again. I am throughly enjoying their service. I find the customer service to be phenomenal and all the technicians are extremely nice and professional

They do not hold up their end of the contracts. They are not consistent with their service offerings and you need to watch them each time they come out or they take shortcuts in order to meet their maximum 20 minute allotted time; however, when a manager performs the service it takes them around 40 minutes. If you ask about the variance in time, they simply state the techs are only provided 20 minutes.

Essentially even though it takes them a proper 40 minutes to services my property they only allow the techs to perform 50% of the job and charge you 100% of the fee. If you cancel the contract for their nonperformance then they still try and charge you for the balance. I would strongly urge you not utilize their services and look elsewhere for your pest control needs. They are incredibly frustrating to deal with and simple do not appear to care about the customers frustrations/needs.

They are charging us $60 monthly for treatment. According to the contract, they can't treat areas 8 feet from the ground. However that's where the issue is. They claimed their insurance company policy won't allow it. They offered to have a technician come out to I inspect and provide a quote. What exactly do we get for this service?

I was under the impression that they would address all issues. That's why we decided to pay $700 a year. I'm seriously questioning, is this worth it? Buyer beware. Initial Amount $199.00 First Year Total $859.00

These people are THE WORST! They have continued to come to my house and charge me for work that was not done. One technician sat in the car then put the bill on my door and drive off! Another technician came to my house, rung the doorbell and went to side of the house acting like he was doing work and drove off! I refused to pay for services that they charged me for the months that these scam technicians came to my house! They sent me to a collection agency but will dispute the charges! They ain't getting ish from me!

Was talked into signing a contract and wish I had done my research beforehand. I was told my card would be charged only for the first installment then I would receive monthly statements after or could pay online (not the case) first month or so I would get courtesy calls and a sign in the yard indicating the yard was treated-this stopped after two months.

I expected to see dead bugs from my house and yard being treated but this was also not the case I've actively been seeing live bugs that I'm having to kill myself especially when it's been rainy and warm. I've had to contact this company to get them to come out last month. I made sure I was home and witnessed the man spray the outside of my home in less than five minutes and didn't treat my yard- this month I witnessed a man spray my yard not my home/or both yard and home within five minutes(my yard is a acre). regardless of being in a contract with this company I feel with the crappy job they've done this far they've breeched their own contract before I have. I understand yes you'll see mosquitoes yes you'll have a bug or two but I should be seeing more dead than alive.don't waste your money!

We signed a contract and the technicians came out on time. They installed the guards to keep the critters out but didn't clean up. The result was I found 47 screws on the driveway and patio and had 3 screws in the tires of two vehicles.no remorse.just sloppy.

Great locally owned business with friendly customer service. Tech shows up each month to do service and I'm emailed a service ticket with details.

Terrible service. They pressure you into signing a contract and then will not let you out of it if you sell the home. NO other pest control company will do this to you. Please, find another company.

Worse customer service experience ever. I was warned by the other reviews but figured I would give them a chance, wrong choice! From the first day communication was not respected. I specifically left notes and asked for a courtesy phone call prior to digging in my yard no one regarded my requests came to my house without notice cut wires in my yard and left.

The manager was aware of the issue took days to respond finally came out to take a look. Once our contract was up no one reached out to me once again to communicate they were coming to my home to remove the termite bait traps the only way I knew is because I walked outside and saw all holes throughout my entire yard. Once again no courtesy call no knock on my front door and there were two cars in my driveway to prove someone was home they walked around my entire home without permission.

I will never use their services again and I warn you be cautious. 0 is my true star rating but since I can't use that I'll choose one at least the customer service on the phone in the call center understood that issue can't say management did.

This is by far the worst company to choose to get rid of your pest situation! I have had the same problem since having their services. They never got rid of my bat situation but wrote in a contract when I bought my home stating that the bats we're removed! Liars.and the guys are always late for the appointment times and when they say their coming back to finish the job they don't. Nikki that's over that department was so rude to me on the phone stating that I didn't renew my services in March but sent someone out in May to try and get rid of the bats they so called removed. Why would I renew my services if you never solved the first problem. Run people choose another company!
