Aardvark and Caitie helped us get an inspection done with a tenant which had scary dogs and was not easy to work with. They helped us get an objective assessment of the house's condition.

Matt did a great job. He was very polite and helpful. He answered all of our questions patiently. He gave us insight into the urgency of different repairs and made recommendations about the method and scope of repairs. While we valued his straight-forward report, we also appreciated that he gave his personal insights when asked. We were very pleased with the job he did, and would happily recommend him to anyone.

We scheduled an as is home inspection for our first home purchase. The ease of scheduling was amazing. We had Cory and Cortney as our inspectors and they were truly outstanding. Professional, courteous, patient and very knowledgeable. My husband and I asked a ton of questions and they were incredibly kind and helpful. He has also been very helpful with additional services and remediation resources. The scheduling was quick and the staff were tremendously nice and helpful. Definitely would recommend.

Great, detailed inspection report. Would've liked to have included the age of the furnace and water heater (for insurance) but overall great job. They also send you an email with some of their partners for a special rate on extra insurances. Admin/office staff could be friendlier and I didn't like how the first two emails ended up in my junk because the subject line started with "RE:" as if they replied and then input my email address in? It was weird and inconvenient because one of them was the payment link. But overall, it's a really good report. Would use Cory again.

I had my first home inspection today with Brock. As a first time home buyer, I appreciated Brock asking multiple times if I had questions. I had a list of questions that he either answered before I asked or that I was able to get my answers to later on. He was very friendly and professional. The report that I received on the same day as my inspection was very thorough with pictures.

It was much longer than a report I had seen that a friend had received by an inspector at another company. I love when I feel like I'm being taken care of. Home inspections are definitely not my specialty, so it is nice to feel like I'm getting answers on the need to know information on my future home. In addition, I called ahead, and they were accommodating and quick to respond to my inquiries. Overall, I had a very good experience with this company.

I have purchased several properties in the past and by far this company provided the best service. I had questions about a couple noted areas in the report so I called them. They explained in great detail the areas I wanted more information on before completing the purchase. They were a great resource in deciding on that property.

They were able to schedule the inspection very quickly and got the results to us in a few hours. Fair pricing and professional. I wish they would be able to inspect more appliances and move furniture to further the inspection, but understand why they do not. Overall, great experience!

His report included detailed photos and explanations of the homes highlights along with areas of concern. My wife and I are buying a home in the Marshall County. I Googled home inspections and Aardvark came up as well as many others. After reviewing a few I decided on Aardvark. Our inspectors were Kevin and Jose. Jose was there to collect a water sample (shallow well in farmland) and to set a Radon test. Kevin was there for the long haul. He spent hours clinically moving through his inspections step by step.

It took him hours! at the end he went through an equally thorough report with us, delivered it via email to us and our realtor. A big part of this is the advanced software and inspection process that Aardvark lays for their team, but without amazing people like Kevin Barnes it would all mean nothing. Kevin has the perfect personality to do his job effectively and thoroughly.

He spent the time to answer our questions at the end of his inspection process. I always wonder if I'll get fair value, and I spent over $500 for a number of different tests and services. WELL WORTH IT! Aardvark and Kevin knocked it out of the park. Thank you.

Aardvark did my home inspection. He explained to me all the services they offer with the inspection, all the partnerships they have with various services and such that I could take advantage of by having chosen Aardvark. He explained to me what he does and doesn't do as an inspector, and he took my around showing me various issues with the house and answered my questions about them.

He was using a new system for reporting and so I got my report back very quickly on my phone. I had an issue with something and contacted the owner about it. He resolved the issue to my satisfaction. He clearly cares about customer satisfaction and service. I think that's a big part of getting a good inspector, like Aardvark.

I have used Aardvark twice in the last two months for home inspections prior to purchase, and worked with two different inspectors Jim and Kevin. In each case, the inspector was courteous, knowledgable, and explained their findings well in very clear terms. I could not be present during the second inspection, and had a few questions to ask after receiving the report. Kevin promptly returned my call and provided helpful information that clarified his findings. In each case the reports were completed the same day as inspection. Aardvark excels at customer service, and I would highly recommend them to any homeowner.

Dave Kilma of Aardvark promptly respond for the inspection with reminders, was present as arranged, was thorough and complete. Fortunately I had radon checked, which was positive, and needed abatement. He was knowledgeable, and educated me about features and maintenance of the house. The dishwasher showed up for recall on his recal check. He also referred me to his service for preinspector in Arizona for the house I was selling with the move, which helped market my house there. I was referred to him by my realtor, Gene Risner.

Had Aardvark do a home inspection recently. As we were unable to be present, they called afterwards and went through the main points. Then, I received a detailed report with pictures. I feel that this was detailed and complete. I'd use them again.

I was very pleased with the inspection. Matthew was very thorough along with his assistants. He made time to answer questions, review things with us and give us a simple summary of priorities. The report was very detailed, easy to understand and he was prompt getting the report to us. I would highly recommend Aardvark and particularly Matthew.

I had a house inspected in Paw Paw and unlike the other two reviewers there was no realtor involved and no insurance involved. Simply me wanting to buy a house for sale by owner. They were able to make it a time I needed so I could meet the inspector after work and go over things there. I know the current home owners and they said the inspector did his "due diligence" going throughout the house, on the roof and in the attic and even checking the drainage situation around the house/yard.

The inspector even brought up items that were $5-$50 fixes, but that could be important for keeping the home protected from Mother Nature and simple aging of the home and save me money in the long haul once I bought it. I found that very helpful and will make sure those things are implemented. I was surprised there were only two reviews on this page and both of them very bad as they are highly rated on other pages, but I know often the only people doing reviews are the unhappy ones.

I would recommend the Kalamazoo gentleman who did my inspection in Michigan and will be glad to change it in the future if I find he didn't do as good a job as I thought. But for now I would definitely recommend Eric for a home inspection and know he came highly recommended to me by a realtor I know.

Matt completed my home inspection yesterday. He was very punctual arriving 5 minutes early for our appointment. We sat down in the dining area and he went over the contract, what would and would not be inspected, terms used in the report, and appropriate expectations. The inspection was well over two hours in length and very thorough. As we came across an area of concern, Matt would make appropriate recommendations for the situation.
