About 18 years ago, we resodded our entire lawn and it was beautiful and thick. We hired another company and over time our lawn ended up patchy, weedy and general thinned out. I would occasionally witness the lawn company worker jogging through the lawn while he fertilized it. Always seemed to be in a huge hurry and done in under 10 minutes. After numerous complaints and our yard still looking bad, we switched to Focus Pest Management.

I've used Focus Pest for two different aspects. The first was to deal with a Squirrel issue, while we were on vacation one got into the house for about 12 days (that's a long story in itself.) John and his team came out the following day and did a full house inspection to see how it got in and then did a great job and securing the house so it wouldn't happen again.
Both John and his colleague really know their stuff, they know what to look for and educate you as they go through the house. They get 5 stars for this part. I also use Focus to treat my lawn. They do a good job the plan is to have them come every 2 months and fertilize my lawn and treat for weeds. The only reason why they don't have 5 stars is I still have a few weeds left after 2 treatments, but not as many as i started with. My lawn does look a lot healthier though. As mentioned in a review below you deal with John directly which is great, no salesperson no middleman.

I got an extremely reasonable price and they solved my rodent problem in less than 2 hours! In addition to exceptional service, they pointed out to me a hazard that my less than satisfactory landlord had not ever mentioned to me! I will use them for any and all future problems I encounter. I would STRONGLY recommend them to anyone in need of their services!

I am beyond ecstatic with service I received today. They were extremely personable. I was also amazed when they were able to come out only 3 hours after my call inquiring service. We first called John because we moved into our house and found a 4 foot snakeskin hanging in the basement. John came and set up several humane traps from the basement to the attic. He also sealed our entire house top to bottom to keep any more creatures from coming in. We also found MANY tics on us and the dogs every time we went outside. Inside we found 5 black scorpions the first week we moved in. John sprayed the yard for tics and Mosquitos and used an awesome all natural substance inside the house.
Absolutely no more bugs for us! Never another tic from the very day he treated the yard and never anymore bugs in the house. John and his sweet wife Paige come regularly and keep our yard and house bug and snake free. We now consider them friends other than our pest control company. And most important of all, our dogs love them and John and Paige love to see them too. Wonderful company and even better people!

We exerienced a rodent problem in our house and used YELP to discover Focus Pest Management. After looking at their website I decided to give them a call. First let me say that you deal with the owner John.no saleman.nobody trying to offer an uneducated opinion. This guy knows his stuff and puts his reputation on the line when he offers solutions.
He came out to the house to check out the problem and instead of just looking in the garage and inside cabinets, he went on the roof.around the entire perimeter of the house and took pictures of where we had issues and possible critter entrances. He promised the work would be done in 2 days and I am happy to say that everything was accomplished and MORE!
I wish i could put a copy of his estimate on the net and show you everythinjg he did because the price that he charged wouldn't do it justice. And not only did he make our house a fortress where nothing can get in.he will continue to stop by every 2 to 3 days to check on traps, and to continue to do so until we are free of the problem. Plus his work is guaranteed for a full year, with the option to extend and he has NO CONTRACTS! Great service.great work. i would highly recommend you give this company a call.

John recently came to our home to apply products to help us get rid of a german cockroach problem. They are hard to get rid of! He is very knowledgeable about pest control and knew exactly what to do. He is very courteous and is willing to share his knowledge with you. He told us what he was doing and why, and even shared info about the products he was using.
I highly recommend using his service. He uses natural/ botanical ingredients, so you don't have to worry about harmful chemicals being in your home. He uses a multi step process to get rid of the pest problem. He also is willing to come back to take care of the problem if it's not eradicated after the initial treatment. We had Focus Pest Management help us get rid of some critters that had gotten into our attic. They were very professional and had the right equipment to do the job. Their extensive experience meant that they knew just where to look to find all the access points and seal them. They trapped all the remaining rodents within about a week. The job was finished a couple months ago and we haven't had a problem since. I highly recommend them. The money we spent was well worth it!

I had a rodent problem in my attic and in between floors. John was very professional and showed great customer service. He was always here on time when he said he would. Also, the quality of the work was amazing. Was able to trap and remove the rodent. I also had barriers put up for a ceiling gap. All of the workers were fast and efficient.
