Masters Touch was founded in 1991 on the basic principles of treating people fairly and with respect, providing quality service and doing the right thing for the customer. Over the years Masters Touch built a strong reputation and customer following in southeastern Pennsylvania.
In January of 2008, Jeff Sameth recognized this quality reputation and purchased the company bringing with him 25 years of pest management experience.
Jeff comes from a family of highly respected pest management professionals. In the 1920's, Jeff's grandfather, J.E. Sameth, left the logging camps of West Virginia to begin a new career in the big city of Newark, NJ. J.E. went on to become a pest industry pioneer and served a term as President of the National Pest Management Association (NMPA) and earned a spot in the Pest Control Hall of Fame. Jeff's father, Richard, also became an industry icon and served as President of the NPMA as well.
In January 2009, 30 year industry veteran, Marc Anderson joined the Masters Touch team as our staff entomologist. Marc earned his designation as an Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) through the Entomological Society of America and is one of a very small handful of ACE's in Pennsylvania and the only ACE in Chester County.

Since the beginning of time, humans have shared their food and shelter with mice and rats. One of the most successful mammals on earth, rodents are adaptable to multiple climates and geographies. Also, when conditions are favorable, they can reproduce in large numbers. Mice and rats are a significant pest of stored grains and other foods. They are also implicated in the transmission of multiple disease organisms including: Plague, Typhus, Rickettsia pox, Leptospirosis, Rat bite fever, Salmonella, Hantavirus and others.
Thankfully, with modern sanitation and pest management practices, the threat of contracting one of these diseases from a mouse in your home is low, but it can't be completely dismissed either. Today, we don't have to share our food and shelter with these guys, nor should we.
Mice (House Mouse, White Footed Mouse, and Deer Mouse) are our most common rodent pest. Often, the first sign of an infestation is finding feces (droppings, scat, sign, poop or whatever you want to call it) in kitchens and pantry areas. They can also be heard scurrying around in walls and ceilings. Effective mouse control begins with inspection to determine areas of activity. Then we can develop a strategy to eliminate the current population. But, that's only party of the control equation.
Mice have very poor eyesight. Therefore, pheromones in the urine, feces, and body oils play a major part in the social life of mice. Essentially, wherever a mouse goes, he/she leaves a trail that says follow me. So, finding the ways mice enter structures, and sealing them, is critical to the success of any program.
Rats, while largely a pest of commercial and industrial settings, can be a pest of homes, particularly if abundant food supplies (bird feeding) are present. Successful rat control relies on steps and strategies similar to mice but on a larger scale.

The tech that came to our home this week was very thorough and explained everything completely. He answered all my questions without me even asking. He took the time to find the ant nest where others did not. I know it's not the norm but we almost instantly saw results. Two days later and I have yet to see one ant come in even after the rain. Master's Touch is simply the best, and Brian is fantastic! The company is lucky to have him. Brian has been very knowledgeable, on time when he says he will come, and he truly gets to the root of the problem. We've been using this company for about 3 years now as we had an ant problem when we first moved in. Within a week of them servicing, the ants literally vanished.
Over the last few months we had a rodent problem for the first time, but thanks to Brian and Master's Touch, we haven't seen or heard anything in weeks. I've gotten cheaper offers from people soliciting at my front door, but turn them down every single time because I enjoy doing business with a company who is fairly priced, does what they say they will do, is knowledgable, and offers top notch customer service. I couldn't recommend Master's Touch or Brian enough - A+!

When we had bees come into our walls via the exterior siding they came within 24 hours of the call. They were great in communicating what they were doing along with the cost. We signed an annual contract with them in fall 2020. We live in a rural farming community we have always had some mice in the winter. Not this winter. They have been amazing. We had a bunch of ants pop up and they came the next day. I am ao happy we have Masters Touch.

I have been using Masters Touch Pest Solutions for about the past year. Initially contacted them for a yellowjacket nest up against my house. They came out quickly and handled the nest. Additionally, we would get a few ants in the house each Spring so we signed up for their annual treatment and haven't seen a bug since. They contact us the night before the scheduled service to remind us. They walk the property and spray. They have always been very pleasant and professional.

I've been a customer for years and have absolutely no complaints. We get the quarterly service which keeps us 99% pest free. On those few occasions I had to call for assistance (with bees inside and outside) the house the visit was prompt and effective. Everyone I've dealt with has been very friendly, respectful and timely.

There is a female service technician that performs our service and as a family we feel very comfortable with that. Our last experience before we found Masters Touch was not the best. Yes, I am very pleased with Masters Touch Pest Solutions service. The service person was on time, courteous and explained what to expect within a few days after the treatment. I even asked him to come back into the house to treat another area in the home that I had forgotten to mention to him when he first came. He was most accommodating to my request to come back in even though he had finished treating for carpenter ants outside. Your quote was also more reasonable than other pest control companies I spoke with by phone.

We absolutely love Master’s Touch! We live in a highly wooded area on over 2 acres of land and we had a lot of creepy crawlies and other friends when we first moved in! I called right away and got us signed on for a yearly contract and we have been pretty much bug free ever since! We initially contacted for vole extermination and decided to add in the exterior service as well.
