OUR SQUIRREL TRAPPING SERVICES

We charge a flat rate squirrel trapping fee per week. There is NO setup fee, NO per animal fee, NO need for an estimate or quote – simply CALL US!

The squirrel trapping fee is all inclusive: Five (5) trips out every single day to set the trap, check the trap and to relocate Squirrels trapped. It is the law in the State of Georgia that the traps are checked every single day – No exceptions. Every trapper is struggling to trap squirrels during the time of the year when there is a Mother raising their young. Although we will trap only if that is what you wish, because of the greater success when coupled with exclusion, we highly “recommend” doing both the trapping & exclusion together. Regardless if you chose for us to do an inspection or go straight to trapping – we will immediately provide you with a quote for the exclusion work.

SQUIRREL EXCLUSION SERVICES (Squirrel Proofing) :

Damage a Squirrel can do in an attic since no two homes are alike, no two exclusion proposals are the same price. Exclusion is the act of using animal proof materials, devices and methods to keep the animals OUT. Once the animals are taken out, they leave behind odors, feces, and scents which may attract other animals. If trapping alone (without exclusion) it just clears the way for the next one to find their way in unless you block off its ability to “Get back IN”. Some of the most common entry areas for animals are:

Baldfaced HornetBald Faced Hornet Nest Removals or Bald Faced Hornet Hive Removals are an everyday problem here in North Georgia. If we compare the nuisance calls to European Hornet Nest Removal in our area it is 20:1, Bald-faced Hornets. Bald-faced Hornets are some of the most aggressive stinging insects that we remove. Unlike the Bee or Yellowjacket stings, these pack a heck of a punch.

Bald-faced hornets nests are mummy-looking hives that are hanging from structures like eaves, doorways & trees. They usually have guards watching for potential threats. As soon as you approach or break the flight path — an alarm is sounded! Beware.

We do not have to worry about the colony surviving & re-establishing the hive because we took it with us.

Yellowjackets nests are most commonly found underground. Sometimes we stumble upon Aerial Yellowjacket hives under eaves, decks, and doorways. We can even locate the hive if you are unsure of where it is located. We would never ask you to track it down and risk getting stung. Let us take the liberty & since we are in protective clothing we do not risk getting stung repeatedly.

WARNING! AFTER THE HIVE IS REMOVED!

Regardless if we provide a chemical-free hive removal or we treat it with pesticides (commonly used is a dust) afterward there will be some hunters that come back to discover their hive is gone. They will stick around for a couple of days, dumbfounded and lost. After about a week they will have either left, died off or been eaten by predators. If pesticides were used it usually takes a little bit for the full effect. Please expect activity either way for about a week.

Most of our clients, that reach out for our beaver trapping services, have attempted to resolve their problem by destroying the beaver dams. Beavers are highly industrious, therefore, removing dams and lodges has little to no impact on deterring them. Simply said, it is mere exercise and entertainment for the pesky critters.

What to expect with Professional Beaver Trapping

There are a lot of factors that come into consideration for the price of our beaver trapping services. Where are the beavers located? How big of a pond, lake or stream are we dealing with? What is the distance from where the trapper would park to the trapping location? Do you know that it is a beaver and not a muskrat, raccoon or something else? Have you actually seen it? Is the dam or lodge located on your property? This helps us to get a better grasp as to what we are dealing with. Has anyone tried to trap the beavers in the past and failed?
BEAVER INSPECTIONS

Typically, we can give a pretty good price range by after asking questions over the phone. When we are hired to trap, the Trapper scouts the property setting traps along the way. By the time he finishes, we will know the exact price based upon time and effort.

However, if you need a firm price, we can come out and perform an inspection. There are fees associated with the time involved for this service, which includes locating where the activity is, possible dams & lodges. We can estimate the size of the colony and the effort that has to go into trapping. That helps us figure out a fair price for the trapping, lodge and dam destruction.

Speaking of dams… the last thing you want to do is destroy the dams before the beavers have been removed.

BUT we encourage you to paint a picture of what you are dealing with so we can give you a rough estimate over the phone.

BEAVER TRAPPING

We charge a flat rate trapping fee for all animals including Beaver. Our beaver trapping jobs are always quoted in two-week time-frames! There is NO setup fee, NO per animal fee – simply call us. The trapping fee is all inclusive: Up to ten (10) visits to set the traps, check the traps and to remove the Beavers trapped. Forewarning, it is the law in the State of Georgia that the traps are checked every single day. No exceptions. We have 100% success rate of having the beaver problem resolved & completed within the estimated time of trapping.
BEAVER DAM REMOVAL SERVICES

Oftentimes beavers build more than one dam. So it may not be just one dam that is causing the water level to be higher. We will provide you with a quote to restore the natural water flow to the stream or river. We spread the debris from the dam along the water to provide a natural shelter for aquatic animals and fish.

The microencapsulated control materials applied around the foundation of your home degrades in approximately 90 days. In addition, it seems 90 days also provides those pesky insects the opportunity they need to reproduce their nesting capability around your property grounds again.

Winter Rodent Inspection

During your winter service, we take a little extra time to inspect your attic for possible rodent activity. We do this annually pest inspection free of charge during your winter service period.
