Ecola Termite Services

Have used Ecola for years for my annual inspection and possibly treatment after the initial termite treatment.
Always on time -very neat and professional - Omari (hope spelling ok) is our guy - always goes over results and has helpful hints for the future as well.

I recently bought a home and this place was around the corner from where I live. We had something called water roaches, not quite sure since I've never dealt with this kind of issue before. But they were quick to give me a price quote over the phone and set up an appointment time. On the day of the appointment the serviceman showed up and explained what the spray he would be using was and how safe it was for children and pets. He was very descriptive of everything he was doing and even told me that the roaches were attracted to organic plants so having a gardener or even cleaning up shrubbery would help. They have been fabulous for every services I've received.

I have had Ecola for several years now. They are very responsive when I call for service and I always have Joe come out for my annual termite inspection. He does a great job inspecting my attic, around the house and under the house. He is the face of Ecola. Techs that come out to do the work after the inspection are very good at what they do and are very friendly.
They are always on time and call ahead of appointment. I have referred others to Ecola because of Joe!

We were invaded by a really smart rat last month. We tried to catch her. Finally, we turned to Ecola. We have had them for termite control for many years. They were reliable and did an excellent job, so we contacted them.
They sent out their top guy, Moy, to handle the job. He swore he would not give up. He says she is the smartest rat he has ever been up against.
She even ate the bait off the glue traps!
But last week, he finally got her. We call him the rat whisperer.
He was determined and persistent. And he did it all with charm and grace.
He gets at least 5 stars.

Wish they would have better communicated that a request to reinspect was to be initiated after l had repairs needed. Had done repairs timely and thought that the technician that did services did not include reinspection. I didn't know until 4 weeks later when escrow company said they needed clearance. Going through Ecola was a nightmare. We had to delay a week due to their lack of communication and knowledge of what was going on. When we did reschedule, they got the dates wrong and we had to pay an extra day at our hotel even though we had reservations already. Our point of contact did not seem like he knew what he was doing and we had to call multiple times just to get a response, we left voice-mails but no response. We ended up cutting them off completely and communicating directly with the fumigation company since they were both responsive and helpful.

Very Good alternative to tenting, using safe ecologically friendly ways of treatment, also way less expensive

Last year, Ecola provided us a certify that no evidence of active infestation and infection was found at my address but we found termites in a lot of places. I found termite ate some of the wood almost empty. I called them several times and they came back to treatment, they told me the chemical they added, will last at least 7 years, just 11 months. later, I saw termites ran around my house.

I am going to replace a Windows and I call them to come into treatment, at that time the wall will open, so they can easier to inspection or treatment, but so sad when they said they can't come in until next 2 weeks, I can't leave the wall open 2 weeks to wait for them. Their service is bad and doesn't care about customers

Use them for our yearly termite inspection. Worth the cost for prevention. Have had them inspect our home for 10 years! Service: Inspection

We used Ecloa for 3-4 years for ants and they were successful in eliminating the ant problem from our house and our daughters house. We also used them for termites because we didn't want a standard fumigation because of my daughters new baby. When we had the roof redone on that house the roofer found a few termites so we needed spot treatment, we have not seen termite evidence since.

We stopped using them in march because they were dunning us for back billing that was paid on time. They were so bad that they sent us a 30, 60 and 90 past due notice THE SAME DAY. We gave them a copy of our canceled check and then they sent us another late notice. SO WE CANCELLED the ant service, they came every 90 days, and 2 months later their guy showed up for another treatment.

I told him that we had cancelled, I was at my daughters house, then we found out, because he left a service notice, that he had gone ahead and treated our house. Fortunately they have never sent us a bill for that final post cancellation service. I am not a complainer but they sent me the opportunity to review so I did.

Scheduling problems. Told me one day and did not show up. When I called the next week or so they said they showed up but almost a week after scheduled date and nobody home. They called incorrect # to resched 2 days later. While on phn figuring all this out she said they would call me back within the hour.have not heard back since. That was at least a week ago.

Ecola is fantastic! Not only did they offer us the most eco-friendly option, but they were the most affordable, too. I felt really educated by all of their technicians and appreciated the time they spent helping me understand termites and how they were affecting our house. THRILLED to have dealt with our termites without having to tent our house!

We preferred not to have our home tented as it is a duplex and Ecola offers other acceptable alternative treatments. Nick came out for the initial inspection as well as a re-inspect after treatment and repairs were completed. Contact with Ecola reps on the phone was prompt and professional. Nick was on time for both visits, was very professional, personable and knowledgeable. The agent who came out and did the treatments was equally on time, professional and personable. The work came with a 2 yr. warranty. We are glad we went to Ecola!

If I could I would leave 0. stars Paid an ungodly amount for termite tenting and 2 year warranty with yearly inspection. 1st inspection they didn't want to do spot treatment because it was in a wall. and they said it was probably push out from construction we did that vibrated old droppings out 2nd inspection was scheduled, they cancelled on the. day of the inspection, then again a second time and then told me that they didn't have any more availability for 2 months. had the inspection, they found suspicious areas they want to treat and now they are telling me my warranty has lapsed and I have to pay to renew the warranty for them to do the work. So shady, they just want more money and don'.

Tyson is awesome. He did a great job. He is quick, efficient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him and will use him in the future.

Daniel was able to send out a Fabulous Team member named Tyson to help my parents with the termite problem. They found a lot of small termite areas that need to be treated and spent the day going to task. Tyson was very clean and extremely thorough and really looked out for the fact that my mom was in a wheelchair.

The professionals from Ecola are kind courteous and knowledgeable. I feel confident that they can take care of our termite issues. I appreciate their efficiency in dealing with my last infestation, which the technician assured me way minimal and easily irradicated.

We had the need for pest/termite control in the city of Brea, and used Ecola. It was a great experience overall. The technician was scheduled for a Saturday morning appointment and he showed up a few minutes early. Jeremy was out lone Ecola specialist and he was friendly, professional, and answered the few questions we had for him. He was very efficient and completed his tasks sooner than we expected. I hope that we don't need Ecola services again, but I hope that if we do-we can get Jeremy to come out and help again

I scheduled an inspection. Nick was very thorough and explained in detail the treatment process using an electric gun and borates. I was very impressed and scheduled the treatment. The two workers were prompt and detailed. I would recommend this treatment vs fumigation. The cost was reasonable and they have a great warranty

They were able to come out quickly and spray for ants. Now no ants! They have options for less toxic pesticides too. They were also,able to treat our termite problem without tenting the house. Great fast and friendly service, highly recommended.

I was very happy with them but this year the service has dropped. I emailed them to explain I was not happy and contemplating canceling service. Response was "let's us know ASAP if you are cancelling". Not sure what happened but big change in service

Ben was really knowledgeable. He honored a discount card and also gave me a military discount. Very easy to make an appointment for the treatment. The crew showed up on time.they did the heat treatment in both attics and treated the other area's as needed. I would highly recommended them to anyone. My only critique would be. That a chk list for me to prepare the house for the heat treatment, electro gun would have been nice.

We had serious subterranean termite damage in our 136-year old house that has never been diagnosed as that and was threatening to make the house collapse even! We discovered that in time, removed all the rotten stuff as advised by Ecola inspector and technicians. We engaged in seismic prevention program from Santa Barbara. We were advised to treat the soil where concrete would be poured in the concrete belt and concrete mat.

There was also dry rot termite damage. We treated the whole new redwood foundations and joists and plywood panels that brace the foundations with borates too. We did this in December 2014. Up to now there was no sign of termites anymore. But for precaution we redid the subterranean termite treatment in August 2016. Too much soil had been removed since 2014.

I am a post-doctoral researcher in sustainable architecture and urban design. I trust entirely that we are in the right track to protect the investment in the restoration of our historic Victorian house, a survivor from the 1925 earthquake.

They did a great and careful job in our house. They treated everything we needed. I easily recommend them!

A very good and professional ECOLA inspector did a very through check of my house. Inside and out, he noticed a couple areas that had problems before and may have begun again. Over-all he found the problems and I am very happy with his report.

Love my Ecola guy - Canaan. He really takes care of us. When I realized we had rats in the garage I freaked out. Our pest control service at the time said they wouldn't handle it!? Like what? I saw the ad for Ecola and called them up. They sent Cannan out and I've had no more issues. He comes out every 2 months for service. I now have peace of mind that we are all safe from the rodents etc, especially my blind doggie and my elderly Mom.

They seemed knowable and efficient. The service they performed was much more convenient than tenting. So far it seems to have worked.
