I would never recommend this company. I have now had 2 sellers with these warranties on the home for termites from Essentials and I swear it's like they are feeding the termites. They go out and check the home quarterly, yet the home inspection found 9 tubes of termites. Essentials will go out and treat the home, but they will not provide a clear termite report.

They expect the company that found the termites to then go out re inspect and provide a clear termite report. They do not stand behind their work. Never would I recommend this company.

I just turned 74 years young and half the time I can't remember who I am or what I look like! I said that to say this "I can't remember how many Years I have utilized them but I do know it has been a very long time." I truly am "as happy as a pig in slop with them All." Their entire office staff are just slicker than whale snot and I can't or won't ever Utilize any other service but Essential Pest Control! Toodle Loo!

My family has been a part of this business for many years. The unfortunate thing is they schedule themselves without you confirming the date. Why not just schedule on our time? Also I'm super disappointed. We paid in advance for the year to not have to worry. This last service we had to reschedule. We pay for the every 2 months and since we rescheduled they are now coming after 3 months.

So technically stealing our money with no mention of the small reimbursement and yes every penny counts. Nearly 4 weeks later for a reschedule is ridiculous. I won't be going with this company again.

Essential Pest Control, Tucson Essential pest control provides general prevention service for my residence. We recently called them for wasps flying in and near our house. Not finding a nest, we thought there was a nest on the roof. Their representative, Jerimiah, responded to first inspect our roof vents then the entire area around our house. Not locating a nest, he did apply preventative treatments in possible areas of future nesting. We appreciated his professionalism, conscientiousness willingness to spend the necessary time to do a great job. Job well done!

I have had Essential Pest for over five years.they are prompt, professional and uniformly efficient. Recently a neighbors dog died abruptly from what could have been rat poison. I called Essential to see if my bait box could have been the cause. within two hours a tech was here to check out my concerns and explain how this was not possible.and reassure me. They went out of their way to reassure me and my neighbor. I recommend them enthusiastically.they care! Thanks essential

My neighbor referred me to Essential Pest Control because they spray her yard for weeds and she said they did a great job! I called them to set up an appointment and was told the scheduler was on lunch and she would call me back when she returned. I left all my contact information and waited but never received a call. I waited about 3 days and called back and was told again that the scheduler was on lunch but I would get a return phone call. Again, I waited but never received a call.

I decided to call once more to set up a consultation because my neighbor raves about them. I left a message and it has now been about 2 weeks and I never received a phone call back. I ended up giving up and calling another company.

They do a fabulous job keeping my weeds under control so my landscaper can focus on more important tasks.

I've had the best customer service and response time from Arturo, the technician. He's made sure any issues which arise are handled professionally and in a timely matter. Since signing up for the monthly pest service our house has had significantly less issues with critters.

I have worked with this company for over 2 years now. We purchased a house in Menlo Park area and it had some areas with termites. They came and did the treatment and they were gone. We have had a gnat/ plant bug problem and they came and inspected. With their suggestions for treatment, they were gone in less than 3 weeks. Recently, we have had a mosquito treatment done on our property due to the excessive amounts of mosquitos we had, and now they are gone. Thank you to Jeremiah, Abel, and James, who have all helped with this amazing experience. Just good people!

RJ did a wonderful job. He was extremely thorough in spraying my yard for weeds. He was also very pleasant. I have been using essential for a few years and I highly recommend them. They are very nice and they are responsive to their customers' needs.

I have been a customer of Essential Pest Control for the past 4 to 5 years and they do a great job. The techs have all been well-trained and professional as well as punctual. When shopping for a new pest control company I found their rates were among the best for regular maintenance service and I feel that my rate now is still a great deal for their service after 5 years. I would recommend to anyone seeking pest control service.

Huge shout out to Jerry! We called them thinking we had a couple nests in our dead palm trees, the technician came and out turns out we had a COUPLE HUNDRED NESTS! Crazy! Jerry and his other helper came out when it was 106 degrees outside and trimmed the palm trees and sprayed all the wasps and made me feel very happy about getting it all done in an efficient and respectful manner. I also appreciated that if for any reason I saw more wasps or anything they would come back out and spray again. I really appreciate their thoroughness! Happy happy client!

I have been using Essential Pest Control going on two years. They offer auto pay, and are very flexible in terms of scheduling. The service technicians (who service my home) are knowledgeable, go the extra mile, and are very respectful. They were a referral- and I can see why!

My husband and I purchased a house and during the termite inspection they found cockroaches. Essential said they could use a gas product on the house to "kill up to 99%" of the pests followed by three months of follow up treatments "to make sure they were gone." The technician promised us we wouldn't see any bugs after four weeks. We decided to buy the house an pay for the services based on the company's assurances.

They have NEVER once called to set up appointments. I have had to call weekly to find out when they scheduled them and then juggle my schedule to be available. They send you reminder emails which don't have any important details, like when your appointment is. About five or six weeks in we were still seeing roaches and called the office. I explained that I was concerned that my job was under bid and the roaches are still all over the house.

It is worth noting that I thought they were treating for three months. they weren't! They scheduled me for weekly treatments and only mentioned at the end that it would be a 6weeks of actual service work because the three months refers to bi weekly applications. My technician only ever used a pump sprayer and occasionally used the little powder puffing device.

I never saw him apply the IGR baits from a tube. until the last application. This last week the tech never called. So my husband called the company and spoke to a young lady. She informed him that the contract had ended. He asked what he needed to do to keep the treatments going. The girl paused for a second and in the rudest way possible told him to "Find someone else to take care of it for you." We hace treated their staff with respect and have never been rude customers.

The ONLY thing we could have possibly done to merit this type of treatment is to point out that the job was UNDERBID and ask to PAY to extend the contract. These people write checks with their mouths that their you-know-whats can't pay. They will take your money, inappropriately use chemicals to CHASE the roaches around your house, making the problem worse, then tell you the resulting mess is your problem to fix. My next call is to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office for fraud.

I was having some termite issues. I shopped around and they were the most accurate and there prices were very affordable. these people are amazing! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had just recently moved into a new place and within a couple days of being there, realized there was a pest problem. I wasn't able to unpack let alone unload any of my belongings until my Landlord corrected the issue. They reached out to Essential Pest Control and I couldn't be happier. I admit that I was stressed and frustrated with the whole ordeal.

I called numerous times to the receptionist at Essential Pest Control with probably a million and one questions. I'm sure I was annoying. However, they were understanding and reassured me every time that I was in good hands. The tech who came out and took care of everything was Carlos. I just wanted to thank him again for being so incredibly nice and thorough! You've helped keep my sanity lol!

Most disappointing and incompetent customer service I have ever experienced. We bought our home in July 2018 and inherited the end of a Sentricon contract. The contract had one bait refill service left and Essential was eager to have us sign a new contract under our name. We scheduled them to come out anytime after 3 pm (when my husband gets home) and no one showed up.

This happened three times before someone finally came. Each time the tech would either not show up, or would arrive before 3 and leave a note stating they'd missed us. On one attempt the tech called me to ask if he could come early, because otherwise, he'd have to wait around till our scheduled time. I kindly explained to him that he needed to come after 3 pm as previously stated, and he said okay.

Can you guess what happened? He never showed. I continually let the scheduler know how unhappy we were, especially considering the pending contract we had up in the air, and she never seemed to care. A month or so after the stations were refilled I started getting phone calls saying that if we weren't going to renew then they needed to come pull the stations out.

Against my better judgement I called back to schedule. When I requested, as always, that they come after 3 pm, the scheduler tried to suggest I schedule earlier because the techs like to go home early, and even suggested we just leave our gate unlocked all day, which I refused. She agreed to schedule at 3 pm. On 05/28/19 the tech called at 1:15 pm asking if he could come early.

I explained to him that he needed to wait until 3 and he said, "okay no problem." My husband got home at 2:30 to a note on the door written at 1:45 pm stating they'd missed us. When I called I was told that the tech had actually asked the manager what to do and the manager instructed him to come back and clock out, instead of coming to our scheduled appointment.

I was never given an apology, was not handed over to the manager as I'd asked (he'd gone for the day by 3 pm apparently) and was just asked to reschedule. Needless to say, we declined to reschedule and are going to tear them out of the ground ourselves and throw them away.

I see our treatment person once every 2 months. That is more than I see insects thanks to this company. That about says it all.

I speak as a Licensed Pest Control Tech. My apartment is spotless clean. In my humble opinion Essential Pest Control is, a scam. Case in point. The source of my cockroach problem is my nieghbors directly to my east. Essential Never came by on any type of a regular schedule. A big no no in the pest control business. Every several months were their schedule.

Their first dereliction of duty. For you see for one, cockroaches adapt quickly. They have been walking this earth over 400 million years. They will survive Atomic & Nuclear Fallout. To the point that if cockroaches infest your Microwave, they will not die when you engage the microwave oven. Whatever a pest control company sprays one month, they Must change that solution the next month for the fact that the cockroaches Will adapt to the previous months chemicals.

As well, the babies will be impervious to the spray that was that applied the previous month. A female cockroach will lay thousands of eggs in her life span of 7 to 13 months. The shells containing these babies are rock hard. They hatch in deep crevices. Cockroaches travel at 59 inches pet second. Quicker than a Cheetah. They can hold their breath for 40 seconds.

After almost 6 months, Essential Pest Control showed up at my apartment. I instinctively knew that after whatever chemichel they apllied, that I would have more cocroaches. Sure enough. Where as my cockroach problem was under control based on my own diligence & resources. For the fact that I purchased chemichels from the Do It Yourself Pest control store here in town.

After 2 weeks of Essential Pest Control showing up I now have a major infestation of cockroaches to the point that I am under seize. I can only conclude that Essential Pest Control is a scam that depends on their clients to call back for a more expensive application. Absolute worst pest control company. I am not the only individual in this large complex who shares these facts.

Andrew came out and did a great job on getting rid of wasps in our pine tree. And under budget! Will definitely use again.

It's always a balance of factors when picking a company: 1- Cost/Value 2- Flexibility/Availability 3- Thoroughness/Effectiveness 4- Process Etc. You come to expect compromises when focusing on one thing over another, for example, if you buy the cheapest service then you're almost guaranteed some measure of "nickel and dime-ing" along the way.

Essential Pest Control is a Unicorn: out of the top four yelp companies, they offered the greatest flexibility, the best price/value without a compromise on thoroughness, and exceptionally professional attitudes (prompt, courteous, and respectful of time--cordially conversational without chewing your ear off). I absolutely would use them in the future and recommend them to others.

This is honestly the worst company I have had the displeasure of dealing with. We called due to an out of control rat infestation in the ceiling of our rental. The first technician came out and placed a single trap on the outside of the home without even looking up in the crawl space. From then until now, 8 MONTHS LATER, we have had a nonstop series of late cancellations from the technician, if he even bothers to show up for our appointments.

The technician is nice enough, but there have been several instances where he is reporting false information about the problem to the homeowner. It is 8 months later and we still have rats in the ceiling. We have wasted hundreds of hours on this problem and there is no resolution in sight. STAY FAR AWAY from this company!

Love how professional and helpful all the staff is! From the reminder calls from Donna, who is always cheerful, to the fantastic technicians who answer all my questions. It is easy to keep my house pest and weed free! Highly recommend!

Do NOT buy the spray option they offer. I bought it for my house, didn't make a dent in the problem, and when I didn't go for their pitch to cut holes in my walls and charge me $100 every 15 minutes (seriously.$100 for every 15 minutes) they said they would come spray again but it would negate my warranty. They came out again to spray and again it did nothing. Complete ripoff.

Had a bee invasion while both my wife and I were out of town. There were two hives on our patio ceiling, about 16' up. We called Essential, they came out and removed them before we arrived home. This was not an easy removal due to the height - need a serious ladder to get up there. They billed us a few days later, reasonable rates. I'd definitely recommend them.

Karin was extremely courteous and understanding about my poor experience. She responded to my calls and complaints with great care.

The idea of killer bees under my shed was enough to make me want to nuke the site from orbit (just to be sure) but since I didn't have a spaceship or another house to move into, I called Essential. They charged 125 dollars to come and drill holes in the floor of my old shed and spray the hell out of the hive. Unfortunately, the bees didn't take the hint and stuck around, so Essential came back and resprayed for free.

Fast forward a week, and I'm tearing the old shed down. When I pull up the wooden floor, I discover the remains of the honeycomb: nearly seven feet long and a foot across. No wonder it took two tries! Thanks Essential!

I have used essential in the past for termite treatments on both my properties and for additional pest and weed control. When I noticed a lot of pack rat activity, I gave them a call to see if they could help, they came out right away and gave me options for how to take care of them, We came to solution and the problem was solved quickly and affordable. They did a great job, they are best pest control company in Tucson.

After getting estimates from three pest control companies, my mother and I picked Essential Pest Control to get rid of our pesky termites. The man that came to our home was very informative. He was sweet with my mom, very friendly. He found problems that the other two companies missed. We loved that he broke out his tablet to show us pictures and explain what our problem was and what his company would do.

As he got us an estimate, my mom and I cringed because he sounded like the best option so we just KNEW he was going to be the most expensive. You should have seen our faces when he was $200 and $400 cheaper than the other companies! We scheduled an appointment and they came out a few days later. The two men that came out were 45 minutes late. We wished they would have called to let us know.

But when they arrived they were polite and worked quickly so we didn't have to listen to the drilling for too long. When they left, they hadn't moved our stuff back against the wall (we have a messy yard with stuff stacked against the walls) so we had to do that ourselves. But aside from those two complaints, which weren't enough to knock off a star, we were very happy with the service we received from Essential and look forward to doing business with them in the future! Edit: It's been a little over a year now and we had a HUGE bee hive in our eaves.

We called Essential and someone came out that evening to take care of it. He killed the bees and came back with a partner the next evening to dispose of the hive and the dead bees. My mom had also trapped a Palo Verde bug under a bowl that she was too afraid to deal with. The guys got rid of it for her AND found a few more in the yard that they saved us from as well! (Okay so they were dead Palo Verde bugs but they're still terrifying!) The price was more than reasonable, especially after a small discount for being returning customers. Again, we are very happy with our service and have already recommended them to some of our family members.

This guy was top notch A-1. He treated my momma right for bee removal services. There was a ton of bees and honeycombs up in the rafters and he performed an extraordinary service at an extraordinary price. She was tickled pink.
