Do NOT do business with this company at all, and if your apartment complex uses them please consider hiring someone else. Their employees have no respect for your property, they will go through your belongings and break your things without saying anything. When you call to request compensation for the items they've broken (with proof) they laugh at you and hang up on you. If that's not bad enough they leave a mess after they're finished and don't clean up after themself.

Micheal Scott the tech who visited my apartment did amazing this is his second time coming to my apartment and the first time he definitely helped the problem he was the best person to come to my apartment i would not want anyone else he explained what the products was when i asked and when he entered due to me not answering the door and being in the back he made sure if someone was here before doing his job by yelling extermination which is very professional as well i didn't have to call extermination for 1.5 months after he came to my apartment the first time i will request him to come to my apart for now on he also moves stuff and check behind his previous work just in case he missed a spot last time he asked me how is it going and honestly much better i will most likely renew my lease now that he has this problem under control amazing work Michael Scott

One of their employees almost hit me with their truck while I was in the crosswalk (with the walk sign) in Rosslyn. I called the customer service line and they said they would they would give him a call, but they did not even attempt an apology, hence the one star review because of their adding insult to injury.

Their drivers are aggressive in such a manner that they purposely attempt to block you from merging into traffic. They don't slow down, or move over a lane. they speed up and get so close that there is inches between them and the car ahead of them so that you are forced onto the shoulder while doing 60mph trying to merge in.

First off, they take forever to show up. Apparently the bosses have no basic understanding about how to set up a route. They have the exterminators literally bouncing around like a rubber ball. Go here, then go across to the other side of the state, then back across and back again so it literally takes forever to get to the last customer. Of course I had off on the day they came. I would've rather not spent majority of my day off waiting around for Owl.

Owl Pest had me complete a contract and then NEVER SHOWED UP. These are SCAMMERS. These are LIARS. These are GRIFTERS. Why else would they sign a contract they then refuse to honor? BECAUSE THEY ARE CROOKS. Yelp, I have a signed contract from this ripoff company. They showed up NOT ONE TIME. THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS BUNCH OF THIEVES. Anyone who is foolish enough to consider hiring this sack of hammers DESERVES to be victims. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Hey, Owl Pest-- go find a little patch of sand and you start pounding that right on up! Hahahahaha! Stuart Fain, your name is on the contract, you lying sack of manure! I own a business, you crook! You jerked me around for weeks, you scum! All you had to do was honor your contract, you thief! GO POUND SAND, SCAMMER!

A couple days ago a lovely man by the name of Michael S. came and serviced my apartment. He was extremely thorough and kind and truly deserves a raise/bonus. He made sure to go through the home multiple times and TOLD us what the issues were. He discovered a large hole in the second bedroom that was patched up the next day. I live in an apartment complex that has recently had a rodent issue becuase of contruction that is being done across the street. I have been living here for over 5 years and never had this issue. I called the rental office and they immediately scheduled me for treatment by an exterminator. When the technician from Owl Pest Prevantion arrived he was very professional.

He took his time and checked every inch of my apartment and was able to detect where the mouse was coming in. He treated my apartment and was very infromative about what I should do moving forward to keep them out. Michael S. was extremely professional, excellent personality, he was educated in what he was doing, and his customer service was amazing!

He was empathetic to my fear of rodents and explained things to me so that I wouldn't be so skiddish. His warmth alone made me feel better about the issue and he did a really good job while he was here. Thank you Owl Pest Control for having such a delightful, professional, and knowledgable technician on your team. Thanks Michael S. for your hard work!

Michael Scott made an unpleasant situation a pleasant one with his professionalism and great sense of humor. It's always uncomfortable allowing a stranger into your home but he was very nice and made me feel comfortable. He took the time to look for possible areas that could be problematic and gave me advice as to how to prevent further rodent issues and what to look for. Hi guys, I would gladly up the stars in your rating if you would please start informing your residents of when you'll be coming. That way we can at least have the chance to be present and discuss our issues with the technician. I am sure if you discuss the issue with the resident, you'll even receive better results. I have service coming up at the Village Square apartments. I am hopeful to change this star rating once I meet with you or receive a call before coming. Thanks!

I work for a property management company and have been working with Owl Pest for about 4 years. I have had a great experience - the office staff is friendly and responsive and the technicians always show up at the correct time when they are scheduled. I have worked with William and Lawrence as my service technicians and they give advice for preventing pests long term and do a very thorough job.

My condominium association switched pest companies and began using Owl Pest about 6 months ago. What a terrible decision. The managers at Owl Pest are condescending, dishonest and lazy. They repeatedly tell me I have no pest problems so that they don't have to their job. They spend most of their time talking about extra fees that need to be charged.

They are very inflexible about the days and hours that they can actually show up to perform a service. In my opinion, this is a bottom tier company with apathetic managers. Do yourself a favor and call a more reputable company.

OWL Pest Prevention has a contract with my apartment complex to get rid of the mice problem which I still have, a technician came into my apartment in September 2018, went through my dresser drawer and stole 220.00, I reported the incident to the rental office, police, and to the Manager at OWL Pest Prevention, the manager was not in, I left several messages one with the office manager who was not helpful, and the Technicians manager never returned my calls I left three messages. when I did speak with him he was very nonchalant and the technician was still working. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! THEY HAVE A THIEF WORKING FOR THEM AND WILL NOT EVEN ADDRESS THE ISSUE

1. I've never not had the same amount of bugs coming in from various places, and they come once a month. That's not even "good" service. 2. You're not here to play with or talk about my pets. do more spraying and less worrying about what's going on in my place.

Poor trained staff. Technician placed the rat poison in the areas, easy accessible to anyone. My dog ate it all. Apparently rat poison attractive to the dogs as well. Good thing I've noticed that and took the dog to a vet clinic. Owner/manager of Owl Prevention Michael paid the animal hospital bill, but partially. Made us sign a release form, which doesn't make sense and now disappear when we asked to take care of payment in full. (Medication etc.) Nothing so far. Not really good customer service. At least make sure your people know what they doing.

This review is in reference on the incident that occur on March 15, 2017 with Owl Pest Control company. It was around 2:15 p.m. and I was in the kitchen washing dishes and cooking and one of Owl Pest Control employee was knocking on my door and after I stop running the water I though I heard someone knocking on my door but since I am not tall enough to see through the door whole I wait and saw someone on the other side of the door using a key and trying to open my door.

I was so scared that I was looking for my phone and something to put on when I heard the person outside the door walking down the stairs, so I went out with my coat on and saw him by his truck and I shout out to him and ask him did you was trying to open my unit door? who gave you my keys? and he reply I was knocking on your door and the management office gave them to me, than I reply but I have not request anyone to come to my unit and I didn't see a memo from the office that it was mandatory to you company come to my unit.

He said to me that the only way that he will be coming to my place if I have request and made an appointment with them. After notifying my Association Office about the situation and they providing me their number I call the company and I talk to a guy name Antonio and I explain the situation to him and he look into and said I'm sorry man but he went to the wrong location, than he told me to hold on and than a guy name Michael came on the phone and I told him that I was on hold with the other guy and he said what I can do for you?

So I explain the situation to him again and he told me that the system miss one of the number of the building and that's the reason he was at my condominium but he refused to provide to what address he was assigned to. He told me that it was a mistake and that he apologize about the situation.

I am so fortunate to have him helping with my apartment as he truly is the best, an absolute professional and able to be empathic when I was quite stressed. Absolutely incompetent company. Disorganized, tardy, inconvenient. I was forced to deal with Owl Pest Prevention as they are the contracted pest management service for my condominium. I explained to them I had some type of animal clawing / chewing on the beams in my crawl space at night. Their soonest appointment was two weeks later and I was forced to take a half day off work with the promise they would visit by noon on the day of the scheduled appointment so I could get back to the office.

Two weeks later on the scheduled day no one shows up by noon. I call the company and they assure me someone is on the way. A replacement technician shows up an hour and a half later knocking on every door of the condo because the company provided him the wrong address. I provide him the exact same description of the problem I provided when originally scheduling the appointment and he responds "it is probably a squirrel, we don't do that, you'll have to schedule with someone else".

When calling the company no one could answer why 1) the technician was late, 2) why he had been given the incorrect address, and 3) why he or some other competent decision maker at the company had not been given the information I provided at scheduling to diagnose the problem before wasting everyone's time. On account of their inconvenient scheduling, tardiness, and overall terrible organization and communication skills I missed an entire day of work for a problem they could have easily handled over the phone two weeks ago. I have encouraged my property manager to terminate the contract with this company and highly discourage individuals from using their services.

Avoid Owl Pest. They're unreliable, make excuses, and then lie to you about the scheduled appointment time.
