I called Nix last year after getting brand new floritam sod. It was the second time that I sodded in the last 2 years and I neglected the first sod so much that it had to be re-done. So, on round two, I didn't want to take any chances that the bugs would ruin my investment. I call other companies but settled on Nix because they weren't pushy and didn't tie me into a service contract or try to upsell me on services.

Their prices are reasonable and they call me and ask me when I want a treatment. If I don't think the lawn needs it, they will simply call me on the next cycle. On one occasion, I saw brown spots a few weeks after treatment and called. They were out the next day to re-treat for free. Extra kudos to Bruce who is very friendly and concerned about my lawn!
