I tried Glamour Pools for a year. Paid up front for 12 months service. I have tried numerous times to complain to the owner about the service and in the beginning things sooner or later go worked out but as time went on the issues continued. My pool is now GREEN and cleanings are being skipped. I was told someone was coming the next day and no one showed up all week! I had them install Salt water and the monitor is connected to their system virtually, yet the only time I see salt added is when I call and complain!

Pool turned green within one month of them taking over the pool. Peeking in our windows when working on the pool and the management is not concerned with the incompetency of their staff. Use this company if you want creepers looking in your house, your pool water green and unconcerned office people that want to yell at you on the phone.

Have been a long time customer but today had to cancel service. The tech doing the weed and pest control is terrible its as if he's not using any chemicals. I called 3 times this month for bug control he showed up once don't know what was sprayed but didn't work I've lost large portion of the lawn. I know there was a death and a change in the office but that's know reason to not address complaints or for not returning phone calls. Truly amazing to let great service to go down hill and not address problems.

I have been a customer with McLaughlin's for several years. I hired them shortly after doing a resod on my yard. This past spring, I sent a lengthy letter describing the condition of my yard. It was literally covered in weeds. I have called on a regular basis since. I am constantly told that they will have Terry call me - he never does. When I question this on the next call, I hear crickets in the background as to what they plan to do.
This company came highly recommended by a coworker when I first became a client. I was told, back in May, that there had been a recent death in the company and that they were working to get things straightened out. Although I am empathetic, this does not change the deplorable condition that my yard is now in. I'm guessing that the death has had a tremendous impact on this aspect of the company. Nevertheless, I have been a loyal customer, who has paid on time, for many years. I deserve better. To just let this go is not acceptable. It is the principal of the thing. I didn't break my back resodding my yard to allow this to happen. More to come.

We've have a vacation rental in Cape Coral several years now. Hired them this past spring to clean pool weekly. In July they were called out for service call, and we paid invoice "just under $100". Then after getting monthly invoice from our rental management company, discovered they also billed mgt. company the same amount and for the same service call date.
Still waiting for that credit back to me. Glamour's accountant told me today "that's impossible". not sure if she was referring to the fact service was double billed, or that we'd be refunded, after the several conversations I've had with them today. Now comes the Hurricane, and I really do feel for companies and people there that lost income and work, but don't bill out of state property owners for work not done!
They emailed cleaning bill for every week in Sept 2017; I have family there now, who sent video showing pools not been cleaned/serviced for quite a while. maybe they think out of state owners have no ability to double check their work? Call these people up, and first person says "oh no that's not for this month, that's for last month", although invoice clearly states it's for Sept.
We call back and speak to accountant, who says no that's not last month, no idea why she told you that, invoice is for this month, and we know we haven't cleaned every pool since the hurricane, but we still bill for the service anyhow. that's how we do our billing, and we might get to your property before your next tenant shows up, but no guarantees "even though we're billing for the service".
She said "let me look into it and get back with you". She then calls back and said, your pool has been serviced, i.e. feedback from tech, and even though i have a video showing today's date and it's filthy, has screens that were blown out in bottom, and outside debris that was blown in. doesn't matter. So then talk with owner, and suggest if he doesn't believe me, to get in his car and drive over and see for himself. "not interested, if they say they cleaned it, it's been cleaned".
Talk to 3 people within 2 hours, and get 4 stories of what actually happened. From what I understand they were a separate company until recently, but merged with another larger company; their service might have been very good at one time, but apparently new parent company is more concerned with his bottom line, than satisfaction of their customers.
