A-Rid-A-Pest

We had 3 visits last year starting in November and fast forward to now (1/30/22) and our mice problem is still unresolved. We have followed the instructions advised by the exterminator and so far no success. My 18 month-old found a mouse dropping today (1/30/22) on our sofa and almost ate it. Our issue initially appeared to be resolved for the first 2 weeks, but from using the poison provided by the exterminator as well as sticky pads, using bleach to avoid them from leaving droppings on our counters/stovetop - nothing has changed as far as them pivoting to new areas of the house.

A-Rid-A-Pest is amazing! We have had a bird, flies as a result, random rodent (old house, old house issues), and they have been responsive, friendly and flexible each and every time. Not to mention the chemicals they use are effective and last long, so no need for the crazy contracts with crappy service as we have had with other pest controls in the city. Lisa is super nice and responsive! Eck and Artie also made sure to point out other entry points for pests or birds. Highly recommend each and every time!

Due to a shift in weather my tenants unfortunately dealt with pests this winter. I paid a well known brand pest control to come to my rental property twice, no solution. A-Rid-A-Pest was my next option. They were thorough and reasonably priced, no more mice! This is just after one visit. I highly recommend them.

These folks are so nice, responsive, fair, and knowledgeable! The estimate was free of charge, and we got some generous advice out of that. When we called them back for service, they took care of the problem, and since our bees' nest was in a tough spot (behind an old cement pipe, IN the base of our foundation), they promptly scheduled a return visit free of charge! Nobody wants to have to call an exterminator for rats, certainly not twice in one year. We called A-Rid-A-Pest last year because of a rat invasion, and Eck and his son Artie came to set traps, search for the source, and seal the possible entry points, which led to two dead rats and the end of the problem. What they couldn't do was prevent us from stupidly leaving our terrace door unlocked a few months ago.

The door came open overnight and another rat came in. This time it took several visits to locate some additional entry points, but these were also taken care of. Eck and Artie are not only very nice people, but they were extremely responsive and were genuinely concerned about making sure that our issues were addressed. They also are highly analytical, using their knowledge of rat behavior to determine how the rodents came in and where they might have been hiding. We hope we never need an exterminator again, but if we do we will call A-Rid-A-Pest.

In this quarantine life, we had almost given up hope that our ant problem could be dealt with, and all the Raid in the world wasn't handling business. So we set up an appointment, and my man Eckertson came through, did his thing, explained what was going on and why he was doing what he was doing, and it's been two weeks and no signs of the little bastards. Great customer service and know-how get love from me and mine.

Fantastic service! The exterminator was prompt, thorough, detail-oriented, and nice. He explained everything he did and his reasoning. I'd wholeheartedly recommend them.

I am so grateful for A-Rid-A-Pest. Initially there was an administrative error that effected my original appointment. Very professionally, Lisa reached out to me to not only correct the error, but compensate me for the mistake. That aside, the technician that came out to service my home (to treat for mice) was also very professional, knowledgeable, efficient and educated us on what's to come.

I have a good feeling that my pest problems are over (I'll update you if it's not the case). Again, I am very grateful for this jewel of a company and the experience that I had.

Customer service is important and this place delivers that in spades. I assume it's the owner who answers the phone and the times that I've called, she's been pleasant and upbeat even when I was rescheduling the appointment at the last minute. The rep came on time and my tenant said he was thorough and explained what he was doing and where he thought mice were coming into the unit. They were pleased. I wasn't able to be there, but my brother said the work was done thoroughly and efficiently. Will definitely use again.

As a local real estate agent, I like using local businesses as much as I can. I have used A-Rid-A-Pest many times for termite inspections for property closings. Just recently, called for an appointment a few days before a closing; thinking the inspection would be a slam dunk, because the house had a complete rehab. Not! Eckertson found termite tunnels and a destroyed wood beam in the basement.

He texted pictures right away, because he knew about the deadline. Needless to say, the seller, the developer and I were in a tailspin, but A-Rid-A-Pest jumped right in and saved the "closing" day. Eckertson agreed to do the work on a Sunday, and for a discount too, so we could close on the date as promised to the buyer. I have always liked this company for their great service. A-Rid-A-Pest showed me with this experience, not only do they care about their work, they care about people too.

I can't imagine having a better experience.who would think a pest control visit could actually be fun! Eckertson is the rockstar of pest control! I have to admit, I sort of have a "bug-phobia." He used humor, and showed genuine concern for me and my home to put me at ease. And he was so generous with information, told me everything I needed to protect my home after my treatment. I like too how A-Rid-A-Pest guarantees their work! They are simply good at what they do and they make you feel like family.

Thought my house was mouse proof, and "lo and behold" what did I see early one morning as I was departing for vacation. Upon my return, I called A-Rid-A-Pest. Lisa was patient in listening to my "tale of woe" and was able to get me on the schedule the same day. Yah, Lisa. The techician, Eckertson arrived, he was pleasant, he was professional and he was thorough.

He found, filled and baited five.yes, five possible entry points outside. He then came inside and looked for possible activity and placed bait. I'm still a little nervous about the whole experience, but feel confident that I have done all I can do for now with the help of Lisa and Eckertson at A-Rid-A-Pest.

Mike was excellent! Very professional and so reasonable. They called a couple days prior to the date scheduled because it was going to rain that day and rescheduled the treatment so that I could get the most out of it. They were easy to communicate with, friendly, punctual and very efficient. One of the best services I've used in a long time. I definitely recommend this company!

I called A-rid-a-pest to setup services for our condominium building. The tech was wonderful over the phone. The guy informed us that the inspection for our services would be only $25. Unfortunately he never showed up which I called him and sent him a text message. It is safe to say I will not be utilizing this service ever again.

After going into cardiac arrest when a mouse appeared in my condo, I called A-rid-a-pest and they came out that day. They did a thorough inspection of my building and unit to identify the problem. After going around and through the building, he identified the problem right away. He sealed and baited my unit up and the mouse was caught! Eckerton was great to work with, but I hope I don't have to work with him under those circumstances again!

Fast and friendly service. Would recommend them to anyone looking for pest control. Support great small businesses!

I was very pleased with the service. He seemed genuinely concerned and came into my unit on his day off. I was finally able to sleep a little better

Immediate appointment for our building when a neighbor reported seeing a mouse. Mike is professional and thorough. He cleaned areas, filled holes, set bait, dropped traps. He looked for places they like hide.

They seemed ok when I setup the appointment but then totally dropped the ball. When we scheduled the appointment, I gave specific instructions that I would not be on site to meet the tech, and that the porch that had the termite issue was outside and no access to the building was necessary. I also explained that my contractor was there all week doing repairs to the apartment (this is a rental building of mine), so if the tech needed to get inside for some reason then he could just knock on the door. Well, the tech arrives and waits.

His office then emails me and the tech texts me, no one has the courtesy to call me. I reply to the email within minutes that the contractor is there and to just proceed. The tech leaves. By the time I get off my conference call and am able to get them live, he's on the highway driving back. It was really frustrating given how urgent the matter is and that I explained upfront that I wouldn't be there.which they were fine with.

I then email back and text the tech after speaking with my tenants to see when they can return back and they don't even have the courtesy to respond. Maddening. So, I'm starting the search for another company now. Thanks A-Rid A-Pest.

Eckertson answered promptly my call for a wasp nest on my deck (other companies called back days later). We had a communication snafu due to a cell phone problem, but he was very patient and scheduled an early morning visit to catch the wasps before they are really awake (I am a morning person and that worked just fine for me). Not having seen the size of the nest, he could not give me a quote before coming to see my porch. He ended up charging me very little because the nest was small. Eckertson is very polite, professional, and an honest businessman and I would certainly recommend him.

I had a mouse in the house and these guys came out right away and got it out! I never saw another one. Plus they were fun to work with, came out immediatly, and billed me later. Coool!
