Strand Termite & Pest Control Company was founded in 1968 by Hoover Dowless. His son's, Buster Dowless and Mitchell Dowless who run the company now, from Brunswick County, North Carolina, believed in quality, personal service, and professionalism. Cut a water line coming into my house and a water line inside. When it happened the plumber they brought in to fix it did terrible work and we have been stuck with problems ever since. My annual inspection is up for renewal and now no one will return our calls to even schedule that. That I'm I'm even sure it's a good idea at this point. Stay away!

The gentleman who came to the house was very nice, but when he returned he was unable to access the garage. When we got back to town we were informed by the very rude office staff that the 30 days was over by two days so therefore they would not be returning to finish the job. Will not use them again!

I was beside myself because of a flea infestation outside and then inside my house. If you never had fleas you cannot imagine, it's a nightmare. Strand does my regularly scheduled spraying but they sent somebody out just for the flea problem. They did a multi step process and they got rid of the fleas. I cannot thank them enough for the professionalism competence and knowledge in pest-control. I so appreciate how informative they are about the process and their advice about keeping the pests away in the future. I highly recommend them if you have a pest problem.

We saw winged termites on our back patio on Sunday. We called these guys up on Monday around noon and a guy came over to look at it at 2pm! Two hours later he got his guys over to do the drilling and chemical treatment and they worked past closing time. Normally, at other places, we would have to make an appointment days later. Each one of the guys definitely knew what they were talking about and got the job done in a clean and thorough manner. I was above impressed with their attitude and worksmanship. They reassured us through this scary process. Thanks guys!
