Alternative Pest Management was founded at the beginning of the new millennium becauase of the public outcry for a pest control company to offer services not totally dependant on toxic chemical use. Each prescription program is unique to each client's specific needs with focus on low impact applications and minor structural repairs as our main focus.

However the judicious use of conventional pesticides may be necessary to protect the health and property of clients. Alternative's staff has had over 32 years experience in the pest control wildlife industry.

APM has also been nominated as International Supplier of the Year for some of our Fortune 500 customers. We were nominated by Mid American Supplier Development Council in 2008 held at Arrowhead Stadium.

Alternative Pest Management uses effective treatments such as Pyrotechnics, Dogs, Human Harassment, and Mechanical boats to control waterfowl in our wildlife program. We also use skills such as repellers, live trapping, corralling and removal of flocking birds when molting, and nesting and exclusion to further our bird control program.
