A unique cooperative effort exists between the Virginia Pest Management Association (VPMA), the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) and the local association in your region.
Established in 1948, the Virginia Pest Management Association has been serving the information and business needs of Virginia's pest management professionals for nearly 70 years. The pest management services provided by our members in Virginia help to protect the health and property of every citizen of the Commonwealth by insuring that homes, restaurants, hospitals, office buildings, and other public spaces are pest free.
The Master Technican Series provides technicians with in-depth training in insect ID using using state-of-the-art microscopes; and hands-on training in control methods. The series of eight workshops investigate eight major pest groups - Ants, Bed bugs, Blood Feeders, Termites, Occasional Invaders, Cockroaches, Rodents, and Pest Flies.
The Virginia Pest Management Association, a non-profit organization with more than 225 member companies, was established in 1948 to support the Virginia pest management industry's commitment to the protection of public health, food and property. VPMA is dedicated to raising the standard on continuing education for pest management professionals.
