Jim was great went above and beyond. He knew what he was doing. I would refer him to who ever needed his kind of service. He took care of some carpenter bees on my porch and my wife could not sit out there. Thanks to The Bee Hunter now she can. Very professional young man and the price was right. Jim is the guy we all want to do business with! If Jim could clone himself and have all kinds of businesses, we would do business with him for everything! Jim, the Bee Hunter came out a few weeks ago to assess my bee situation. I started to write a well deserved, long, glowing review, but let's be honest: you didn't come here for a literary masterpiece.
You have a bee problem and you're here to decide if Jim's your guy! Jim is your guy! 100%. Every time! Let me keep it simple. HONEST. He is honest, kind, knowledgeable, and experienced. He came. He saw. He told me one of my problems was no longer a problem, one of them wasn't a bee problem, and then he told me how I could solve my real problem for significantly less money without even hiring him! What?
Read it again. He could have performed a service that I wouldn't have known I didn't need and charged me a lot of money for it. He could have taken the money and run, people! He didn't. HONEST. HONEST AND FAIR BUSINESS PRACTICE is an understatement! Got a bee problem? Give Jim a buzz! Right now!

Spoke with Jim (owner) today to explore options to hire a professional to come treat my house. His repport over the phone was rude, short, and presumptuous. It seemed like it was more of a bother to him then actually offering services to a potential customer. I did get a quote from him after eventually discussing what my issues were and he assumed I needed time to think about it and rushed me off the phone. My one conversation with him does not make want to continue to explore services with him. I would not recommend The Bee Hunter for services.

I've used Jim's services several times since moving in and have not been disappointed once. I'm pretty sure that each have been same day response. He arrives, identifies the problem, describes the solution, treats the pests, and then follows up with providing expectations of results/follow up. There are not many contractors that I keep in my phone, but the quality that I've received (and my general luck with attracting yellow jackets) has made Jim one of my primary go-to's over the years.
So far, he's removed four ground and two wall yellow jacket nests from my property, and I'm always looking forward to calling him up for the next one. I know each time he shows up and dons his bee safety suit that my buzzing problems will be going away.

The Bee hunter rocks! I was scheduled for a Friday and he had called me Thursday because he had a cancelation. So he came A-day early. I wasn't Expecting that so the closet To the attic wasn't Empty. So he, his assistant, and my sister-in-law who came to the house for me cleaned it out. And put everything back He explained everything told me exactly what everything was going to cost. And a one year guarantee. I wouldn't use anyone else

Called Jim and explained a noise I heard in my ceiling which turned out to be a yellow jackets nest. Jim was slammed with appointments when I called but still came less than 36 hours after I called. I felt that was extremely quick even though he apologized profusely for "the delay". He kept in touch about his ETA and didn't make me feel bad about my irrational fear of these insects.
In fact I watched him remove the bugs (from a safe distance) and it helped my fear. He explained everything he was going to do step-by-step and quoted me an extremely fair price for the work. He cleaned everything up and left me feeling relaxed about the whole ordeal. Cannot recommend him or thank him enough.

We found a swarm of bees outside our house yesterday. With an allergic husband and a small dog, the bees had to go! We called Jim on a Saturday and he was able to come the same day (unheard of anymore). He kept us updated on his arrival time too. He was here for about 20 minutes because thankfully it was not a big job. Quick and easy. He was very professional. A bonus is he loved on my dog and my dog loved him back, a sure sign of a genuinely good person! Would recommend and use again!

The Bee Hunter (Jim) is fantastic and is the go-to for bee/wasp removal in the Pittsburgh region. He is extremely responsive, even if to tell you he's swamped and will get back to you. Jim's work is top-notch, honest and fair with his pricing, and is a friendly and kind guy. My dogs LOVED seeing him today. I've used him 4 times professionally and personally and can't recommend him enough.

The Bee Hunter is a valuable resource. He's able to seek out the stinging insects and get rid of them with accuracy. He's very accessible (answered a call I expected to go to voicemail on the weekend) and has taken care of (unfortunately) two problem areas at our home. Although you don't want to need him, if you do need his service, he's the best!

The Bee Hunter is a professional who knows exactly how to take care of your bee problem. He destroyed a yellow jacket nest in our wall last year, and they never came back. This year, he promptly destroyed another yellow jacket's nest in our ground. Don't waste your time with amateurs - Jim is an expert, and he guarantees his work. Service: Bee extermination

Came home from vacation and noticed the yellow jackets decided to move into our place while we're gone. Called the Bee Hunter to schedule an appointment. Not only did he show up and do a fantastic job, he came a day earlier than expected. Showed up, explained his avenue of approach to my wife and I, gave us a few options and was honest. He's not out for money. He's just out to get the job done, right.
During the wait time of his chemicals to work we drifted into a nostalgic conversation down memory lane. He guarantees his work. His warranty exceeds 90 days regardless of when the work is done. A real People's person. Highly recommended!

My husband and I generally get estimates for every project around the house. However, while I was out shopping he hired the Bee Hunter on the spot. My husband was so anxious to get rid of the bees he was willing to pay $485 to the Bee Hunter for one hour of work. The bees appear to be gone for now, but I'm sure we could have found someone that doesn't charge $485 per hour.
If you hire him, be prepared to let the Bee Hunter take advantage of a bad situation. He should change his name to the "Bee Surgeon" since his rates are comparable to that of a surgeon.

Jim sprayed a portion of the front of the house in July for wasps. He was prompt and we thought his treatment was effective until fall. Not only did we get wasps back, but yellow jackets too. I called him and he told me it would be an additional $300 (we already paid over $400), that his "warranty" was not going to cover this. His work is not guaranteed, he did not spray our entire house like other pest control businesses. Would like a refund, his pest control only lasted a few short weeks. Would not recommend.

We emailed Jim at 8pm on a Saturday and received a phone call back in minutes. Jim came out the next day (today - Sunday before Labor Day!) and was here exactly when he said he'd be here. He was professional, very knowledgeable, and got the job done within 40 minutes. Price was entirely reasonable - especially for removing thousands of bees on a holiday weekend in ninety-degree weather!
