Heron Pest Control

These people are the worst! After a year of someone saying they came every other month, other than putting a sign in the yard, I find it hard to believe. I have more weeds than I have ever had. Then I tried calling the gracious man who said call him if I had any problems and him never calling back and me calling the office and no one ever calling me back, I finally talked to someone on Monday.

When I expressed my concerns on having someone come look at my lawn, and instead of arranging to have someone come look at it, she tried to read from so notes from file and was more concerned that I hadn't paid for the last service. I told her that they'd certainly get the money whenever I got the service. That was Monday and today is Friday. Still haven't heard from anyone. I don't know about you guys, but I work for my money and these guys aren't cheap. DON'T USE THEM.

My yard looks aweful. We used Heron for over a year. We called for an in between services visit, only to receive a call at 4:30pm that they would not be able to make it because of truck issues. Not worth my time or money anymore. I am sure they do a great job on other yards and hope mine is just a one off bad experience.

I contracted Heron when I installed my new lawn. It progressively gotten worst with insects and weeds. I reached to them several times about the issue and I was promised it will be taken care of but never did. The last time I spoke to the supervisor and promised to come in person to address the issue (Hector) he failed to show up, left him a message and never called back. So much for the guarantee and customer satisfaction after I paid several months of service that I was never refunded a penny!

We've used Heron for the past 2 years. I hired them when we had new sod put in. Customer service is awful. Hardly ever had the same technician. We were told several different things regarding crabgrass. We followed all recommendations and it still took over. Their website claims they have professional crabgrass grass services. They don't. They kill it and tell you to plant more sod. There's no sod replacement guarantee.

I had a brand new lawn - had being the operative word! I had sod webworms - scalped my lawn - was told it would be take care of -Not! Had crabgrass - not ever under control although they swear to do it. Had rodents in attic - lawn turned into weed central - had Ghosting techs not treating - had all the managers out here - they agreed lawn was out of control - told not to pay - did not pay - They dropped me - they say in their contract with me that SOD would be replaced - not true - they offer plugs - my HOA does not allow plugs- I lost sod and a lot of it!

We used Heron for years, and they continually declined in service over the years. The last straw was two weeks ago when they sprayed all of my windows and house with far too-concentrated chemicals. All of my white pillars and trim are stained and ruined and will need to be re-painted. The windows are covered with a thick yellow film. The smell was awful.

We gave them multiple chances to make it right. Emails, calls, and setting up a time when they could come and assess the damage. I stayed home all day last Tuesday waiting for the manager to come over (the day they picked to come) and he was a no show. We called again and left a message to have them reach out to us again, but no one ever did. Zero customer service, plus there are weeds and bugs all over our shrubs and lawn. Take your business elsewhere unless you want to repaint your house at your own expense and love having bugs and weeds.

Thanks Heron for exceptional service. Kevin my sales representative was never pushy trying to upsale me on services I didn't want, like other companies had interviewed. He listened to my concerns and got everything set up in a timely manner. I chose two services, one for the home and the other for the yard. I couldn't be more pleased with Jorge who has been treating our home now for a couple years, he's always friendly and he does a great job at keeping our home pest free. Richard our lawn guy has worked wonders at giving us a beautiful lawn which I never thought could happen.

When Richard started, we mainly had weeds in our backyard with only St. Augustine on the sides and very little along the back side. I really thought we would have to re-sod the yard, but after two years of Heron's services our lawn is beautiful. Thank you Kevin, Jorge and Richard for a job well done! I highly recommend this company.

Expensive & simply awful. Contracted with @MyHeronHome (lawn & shrubs) before putting in NEW lawn, confirmed sprinkler system coverage & grass choice with Heron. Less than two years later, we have have lost over a $1k in shrubs & have an enormous variety of weeds overtaking our yard. You name the weed, this yard has it! James, the manager will promise anything but do nothing.

It took three unreturned phone messages over a 42 day period to have James come out to look over issues this past March. No improvement at all. I have since left three more voice messages (since mid-May) and again, no returned call from James. Worst. Service. Ever. Hiring #Heron has cost me a small fortune & will cost me more still to repair damage & replace dead plants in our backyard. Please save yourself trouble & money by going elsewhere for your lawn care needs.
