Bevis Pest Control is a family owned full service pest control company established in 1947. Bryan Springer, grandson of the founder R.A. Bevis has been the owner since 1975 and is licensed in every category offered by the Texas Structural Pest Control Board. Along with these licenses he is a continuing education instructor in the termite treatment and fumigation categories.
Services
Drywood termites unlike most other species of termites live in dry wood above ground. Their name is indicative of their ability to live without a water source in what one might consider "dry" wood. This includes undecayed wood such as structural lumber, dead tree limbs, utility poles and fence posts.
Subterranean termites live in colonies in the ground, building tunnels that look like mud tubes above ground level so that they can search for food. The tunnels provide protection from predators and the open air allowing workers to carry food to the nest. They usually need to stay in contact with the soil.

After interviewing several pest control companies, including major chains that were no call no show, we choose Bevis Pest Control. Their technician who did our inspection was more honest, hardworking, and truthful than any other technician that came to our house! He took his time to find the problem areas that could have led to termites damaging our home and really cared about helping. If you are looking for a company with integrity values, they are the one to choose.

My eighty year old mother called Bevis Pest Control, because she was having problems with termites. They came out to spray under the house and around it. They drilled holes in the foundation and never filled them in. The next two weeks it rained non stop and every time I called them over the next year to come out and finnish the job that they had started, they would reply that it was going to rain again and to wait for some dry time.
They also charged her $3,500.00 and then told her to get rid of the termites she would need to tint the house, which would cost another$3,500.00. I ended up calling Orkin, they were more professional, knowledgeable, and they finished the job for way less than Bevis Pest Control. This Place Will Rip You OFF!

In the middle of a renovation and discovered an infestation of Formosan termites. Called Bevis and they sent Ben out, he thoroughly inspected everything, identified the species (how I know it's Formosan) and educated me on how they would have to treat this specific little monster. Gave a fair quote and surprisingly had a crew out the very next morning. Saved me a lot of money not have to shut down a construction crew. Even better the yearly follow up is 75% less than what a national pest control company quoted me! Do your research, I highly recommend Bevis!

Called to get termite inspection. Spoke with Rosemary. VERY friendly, expedient, professional AND with a wonderful sense of humor. She explained that termites we saw flying (if they are termites) may be due to mating season (not necessarily infestation), but instructed me to capture and save the insects in alcohol so they can confirm the species and treat accordingly if needed.
When she quoted the price she warned me to "sit down and grab railings.it's FREE!", she said. LOL. WONDERFUL FRIENDLY SERVICE. Who knew that when I called for Termite control that I would feel like I was making a new funny friend. Looking forward to our inspection Monday and giving them our business :)

When we needed a residential pest company to provide a termite control service, we called Bevis Pest Control. My husband wanted to do the termite removal himself, but I talked him out of it as his termite inspection consisted of tapping the wood with a screwdriver (I'm not sure what that was supposed to achieve). Any kind of pest management beyond squishing a cockroach is just out of his league, especially something like termite or bed bug control. In any case, we called Bevis and their fumigation did the trick. We are grateful for their professional methods and results!
