Encountered a VERY IRRESPONSIBLE technician from Burns Pest Elimination on our walk this morning. I was concluding my walk with my young son and two dogs and spotted the truck at my neighbors' house so crossed the street to be further away. He said hello but then proceeded to immediately spray the property as close to us as possible. There was absolutely no way to avoid the strong fumes and wind blowing the pest control product toward us.
I had to have my son shower immediately when we came home and bathe our dogs, etc. and I'm still worried about the exposure. Unacceptable conduct from the technician. I will be speaking to our neighbor and will NEVER be utilizing this company if they have such disregard for the safety of kids and pets.

You could start by being on time. I scheduled service for 6/16/22 and was VERY clear the time I needed you to be here since we both work at home and can't have your person causing our dogs to bark. So I had to reschedule for 6/23/22. When I called, the girl said she saw the notes and didn't know why they scheduled a later time on the 16th. She said she was going to talk to a supervisor about it.
So then on 6/23 your person was 1 1/2 hours late. Again, past the time when we needed to be able to work again. About the bill. I was told when booking the appointment that I needed to provide a credit card. I told the rep that I wanted to pay with a check at the time of service. I was assured that wouldn't be a problem. So when the service was done, the tech not only didn't let me know he was finished. He just left. So I am assuming that my credit card is going to be billed, the opposite of what I wanted.

Every technician that I've worked with at Burns Pest has been phenomenal. For my monthly pest maintenance (insects and scorpions), Salvador Paz is great. He is always reliable, nice, and helpful when he comes to the house, he texts me before his arrival, and is always responsive if I have any issues in between services. I hope Burns does not ever plan to move his service area!
It is also reassuring to have a trustworthy professional for these services, since he is frequently inside the home and interacting with my young children and pets. We recently have also been trying to eliminate our roof rats. Paul Shuma and Juan Ortiz have both come out to inspect the house for entry points and to confirm that our roof is sealed.
They are extremely helpful and I appreciate that they have worked to look for all possible entry points before we had to resort to the most expensive option to test for broken pipes. The overall service with Burns is great and I would refer them to anyone!

Not the best. We used Burns for many years at two different houses and had a few different techs, but only 1 was actually good. Had a recent issue where the tech reported he did the service, but after checking out Ring cameras we found out our bi-monthly service wasn't actually completed. After reaching out to the tech letting them know we checked the video, he then admitted he didn't do the service because there was other workers in the backyard.
Only then, the tech asked to reschedule. I called Burns to discuss the situation and was told a manager will call me right back. After not getting a call that same day or following morning, I started looking for a new pest company and found a great one and ended up canceling Burns. Only after I canceled did the manager call me back! #RespectYourCustomers

Started off good at first. But once the program is in place and paid for it goes downhill, after your contract ends they leave the live traps and bait stations behind, and if anything gets caught its on you to remove them. Even if you ask them to come out, they will charge you for an 'inspection' and then they will refuse to remove the previous traps without paying for a new trap contract.
Then they ignore all contact attempts to remedy. Information on weekly inspection reports is incomplete, Most of mine reported that they didn't even check the bait stations. Would not recommend.

Ryan Jackson has been our current Tech for a while now and is doing a great job. He is polite, professional, and always on time. We get a heads up call when he's on the way as well. He has come out for our monthly service and has also shown up quickly off schedule when we have any issues that need to be addressed (like the D*ck head wasps that tend to set up in the bushes). We will continue to do business with Burns especially if they continue to hire professionals like Ryan Jackson.

Burns came performed heat treatment and 2 desperate fuumigatons no luck as of yet this was caught in a early stage they are returning with a plan on Tuesday stay tuned for the next results hopefully I hopefully I will not get charged again because people go to bed bug litigation the promise to me was kept to the understanding that all bed bugs would be killed and I would not see any bed bugs for 30 days after that this has been going on since October and I have been seeing bed bugs every 5 to 11 days since October this has been extremely overwhelming the out of money from my savings has been deleted it's to spend one big nightmare

We recently moved to AZ and 'inherited' Burns from the previous owners. That being said, they have been very friendly, very professional, and have been very good at explaining each aspect of their service to us -- even telling us that the previous owners were probably over-using one service, and thus giving us a price reduction. Very happy so far.

I took a trip to las vegas and came back with unwanted guests. I was freaking out Sydney an inspector came out and she was amazing explained everything to me. Carlos came out and did the heatingtreatment he was so professional and explained everything in detail. i highly recommend them for their services! They are a little pricy but worth thee piece of mind in my home

I shouldn't even be giving them a 1 star but there no way of leaving a 0, worst customer service I have ever experience with a business I was told I was gonna get a call back because of a service that was done at my house incorrectly and yet I've been waiting on that call for over a month now and no response from anybody I have called multiple times and yet nobody has reach me. I'm not using you guys EVER again after this experience. I don't recommend using this place the tech guys just spray wherever haven't even seen a change!

I had another opportunity to have Burns Pest Control coming out to my home in Ahwatukee. Once again the gentleman was well trained, informed, professional and helpful besides treating my property. As with the last visit, David from the east valley office who has been with Burns some eight years did an incredible job. After 27 years as a public servant in a federal program, I know what good customer service is and David is a superstar. David is the type of employee who companies hope for and performance, professionalism and vast knowledge of the work he does.
I suggest you recognize him as employee of the month or quarter as we do in our government offices. Perhaps a new Burns shirt, a new Van, a weekend in Cabo or just a nice dinner around town to support our local businesses. Thank you, once again a pleasure to work with you. Dapper

SUPER! Phone calls answered promptly, easy, convenient appointment scheduling. This is the third year I'ver had them out for weed control and worth EVERY Penny! We actually saved money by not buying weed killer at the big box stores and doing it ourselves. No need to constantly bend down plucking this or that out of the yard. Their technician-Will- was extremely professional, punctual and efficient. No need to bird dog anyone.he simply did a great job! We really appreciate him and the company, giving them our highest endorsement.

I have had a termite plan with Burns for years, and haven't had much issue until now. Suddenly now they are scheduling termite appointments 2-3 months out (today is Nov 13, I was quoted that the soonest appointment was Jan 13). So if you have termites, you'll just have to deal with them destroying your home for months. I will most likely now have to pay another pest control company to come out, negating the annual fee I pay to cover termites. Edit: The response below was not directed at me.
There was another customer named Jayne that also had terrible termite issues with Burns. Love that they just copy and pasted the same response to me though! Also, how am I supposed to message them? They've provided no avenue to do that and I cannot reply on google reviews to their response. Im also STILL waiting for the termite supervisor to call me back about possibly moving up that time, like the customer service rep told me they would. That was almost 3 weeks ago.

Critical: Quality we were told that we would have the most intense treatment possible including traps and bait to subsidize our infestation. we never received traps or bait and our problem is still horrible. I would hope that this company would take some integrity with its work but i guess not Service: Cockroaches

I had a termite inspection. And that was as far as it got. The representative did show on-time and perform the inspection. I requested a copy of the contract for review with the co-owner of the property. I was told it would be emailed. That was the last I heard. A week later, no email, no follow-up. I was not shopping other companies. They were my chosen exterminator.
It is too bad companies spend so much money to acquire new customers then let the money slip through their fingers. I had to hire another company. If you are looking for a responsive company, this may not be the best choice.

I dealt with Troy who is the sales manager. They had NO problem scheduling an $850.00 full termite treatment like within one to two weeks. However, when two twelve inch termite tubes showed up due to the tech not completely treating the outside wall and the crack in the garage. I was informed we can't send anyone out for 2 months.sorry? I'm really sorry I hired them to do the treatment.
I hired another company who is more customer service oriented. My own experience is this.the tech did a lousy job and missed treatment spots and the company would NOT send anybody out for 2 months. With that being said. I definately would NOT recommend this company to anyone that I know. One really sad experience.

I have a termite contract with this company.this would be the 3rd time in less than a year they would have to come out to treat the same area for termires.and it not only did I have to wait over a month twice they called and canceled both times because the tech had an emergency and they would have to reschedule.this time I had an appr for Sept 8th.they called to cancel and want to reschedule me for Oct 23rd. In the mean time the damage to my inside wall is growing.

A person came to spray 2 of our homes. I specifically told him I had a problem with crickets, he said he would make sure to take care of it. In the 3 weeks I still had them as bad. I called and the gal said I was out of the warranty period. I plead with her that I didn't know how long it should take for the spray to have worked so I gave it time and 3 weeks was pretty long. She said she would call a Manager and get back to me and it's been 2 weeks and I haven't heard back. #dissapointed!

Jim Calhoun has been the best Burns tech to come to our property for pest service. The Burns office does not forward critical service information to the techs, resulting in many ongoing problems for our community. Techs rarely check into our office as requested multiple times, and when Burns sends them with bad address info, the techs just choose a unit to service and bill as if the job was completed correctly.
After months of calls and complaints, techs still show up unscheduled, unannounced, and unaware of what they were sent to do. Jim is the only tech we can trust to do everything correctly and write a proper service report afterward. Jim is the last one left in the only 3 dependable techs sent to our property. Rico quit, and David got his route changed. It is rare we have a positive experience with anybody else.

Amazing customer service. I have reached out on many different occasions ( stipulations for a VA loan) and each time I received prompt and curious service. I had a very small bedbug scare in one room of my home a year ago, and haven't seen any evidence of bedbugs since. This week a maid service came out and allegedly saw a live adult bedbug. Of course I felt disheartened and stressed to the max! A friend who is a pest control professional made me aware of bedbug sniffing dogs, and recommended Burns. Connor and his dog came out within 2 days, and were amazing!
I felt Connor was very honest and straightforward with me, as we were doubtful I even had an infestation, which his search proved to be true - my maid probably saw some kind of beetle. Connor showed me some carpet beetles that look and smell almost identical to bedbugs. He showed me where there were old bedbug fecal stains (that the sniffing dog alerted us to) on the bedroom baseboard where we saw the bugs a year ago.
He explained how tricky it was with clients who had had previous presence of the bugs, that the smell would always be present, BUT that doesn't mean there IS a current bug problem. He also said it's illegal for companies to treat when they don't see bugs (good to know). Overall he gave me VERY useful information and answered a ton of questions for me, and set my mind at ease.
Well worth the $300 for an inspection to confirm I didn't have bedbugs. I'd absolutely recommend Connor and Burns as trustworthy and honest, and not preying on people's bedbug fear and paranoia. Thank you, Connor!

I always have great service with Burns. Just today Kevin came out to spray and I give him 2 thumbs up! He was prompt, thorough, friendly and polite! I also want to give him praise for being honest! Sal is our technician for our business and he is amazing. He is very detailed and efficient everyday and is always on top of what needs to be done that day as well as next services. He makes sure he stops and speaks to us about anything that needs to be done and gives us his opinion of any treatment suggestions and basically he is not here to just "collect a paycheck." We are very appreciative of the service that Burns provides us and our business and having Sal as our technician.

I'm doing this for my Aunt, Jelena, who doesn't know how to use Yelp, but she says: Thank you so much to Jim Calhoun for treating the wasps by our pool in the Town Square Apt (Chandler)! My apartment is right next to the pool and I felt worried, but also I LIVE to swim and I'm excited I can keep swimming! She wouldn't have gotten the name and told me to do this for her if it wasn't simply the best. and trust me she's picky with any sort of maintenance!
