We have used Gunter for many years. Jesse, the tech who usually does our facility does a great job. He pays attention to detail, listens and treats accordingly. I highly recommend Gunter and Jesse. Kevin is great. Very friendly and super through. Helped me nip a rodent issue in the bud a few months ago and no issues since. Appreciate the time and care he puts in treating my house, clearing cobwebs, etc. The quarterly plan is definitely worth it

Had a great experience with Gunter. Last week Matt sprayed exterior and interior for bugs. Always the excellent technician. Always request him. Today I was delighted to have Corey Bills and Luke visit. Recently had a mice infestation. They went over every inch of my home. Corey showed me two spots in the basement that were vulnerable. And offered extremely practical advice on how to economically remedy the situation. Have lived in Armour Hills for 32 years and only locally owned Gunter is my only choice. Thank you big-time. Gunter does excellent work. All the staff is professional and friendly, but Ben is in a league of his own. He is thorough and clearly explains what he's doing, why and what other means can be used to solve the problem if the first treatment doesn't work (we've haven't had to retreat for the same problem as a follow-up). Leo was the guy that showed up for our Pest control, it was out first time using Gunter and I was blown away with how friendly and full of information he was. He said he'd been with Gunter for about 5 years. I followed him around because and he mentioned places where certain bugs hide. Things we can do to not get but by brown recluse spiders. He hit every area of the house. He did a great job, super friendly, and easy going. They seem to be a little more expensive but after the last jack wagons we had I'm guessing it will be worth it.

A few months ago, we were having a problem inside the house with large carpenter ants. In checking out Gunter's website, I found out that the annual service included not only quarterly visits for prevention, but that if a problem persisted, the Gunter representative would come back free of charge until the problem was solved. We did need a second treatment for our ant problem, and the technician was efficient, very thorough and friendly - and solved the problem. Also, on our first quarterly visit, they were really helpful with some stink bugs that cropped up everywhere outside! Highly recommend! They go the extra mile!

We have used Gunter Pest and Lawn for 15 plus years. We recently downsized to an older home. We were happy to hear that our favorite technician, Leo, would be able to continue his service at our new address. He does an awesome job. He is very thorough, knowledgable, and just a great guy. He discovered a huge wasp nest under our eave, and even came back a 2nd time to take care of the stragglers. We are extremely satisfied with our service.

Wow! Could not be more impressed with Gunter Pest & Lawn. David Austin (technician) performed a thorough termite inspection both inside and outside our home, answering my many questions. He was not only well-versed in regards to the inspection, but also offered advice for how best to fix old termite damage to the home-which expert advice will probably save us hundreds of dollars in repair costs. Could not be more pleased with his service and would highly recommend him to anyone needing a professional.

Truly a great company. The demeanor of their sales staff is not threatening and they really listen to what you want. Down to earth good company and I highly recommend them. My only criticism is to make sure if you have dogs to let them know to close the fence. I have two Dobermans and they got out. Not good but all was fine because I recovered them. But overall seriously they are truly a wonderful company and I signed a contract with them.

Absolutely loved this company. Everyone was great. John was our technician pretty much all the time and he was great. I am beside myself with how upset I am having to deal with this company. I had them come out to take care of an ant problem I was having. The guy was half an hour late, had to call the office who didn't care that he was late and basically said he'll get there when he gets there. He was rude when he did finally show up, he would leave my front door wide open when he would come in and out.

And the cherry on top was it did nothing to clear up the ants. So a week later I called back. The lady I talked to didn't seem shocked at all that there was still a problem and sent another tech out no charge. So I thought great, they stand by their work and this will be all good soon. Well once again it did nothing to clear up the ants. So I called back again.

This time I got a different lady who right away got an attitude. She was rude, argued with me that they in no way guarantee their work unless I pay for a more expensive package and that I don't know how bugs work. Well of course I don't, it's not my job! She finally said they would come out one more time for free but after that if nothing happens I would have to pay more. Feels like a scam, they don't have to do anything, they get to be rude and then charge you for the pleasure of doing nothing.

How do I have any idea they are doing anything at all? The come in, do SOMETHING for 10 minutes then leave. They could just be spraying water around for all the good its done. Avoid them, go with any other pest control company

On time. Fairly priced. Have used for home and commercial. Can't go wrong using this company.

Gunter has been coming to my house for about 20 years and the technicians have always been courteous and on time. I would definitely recommend them to all of my friend.

I've had them for about 3 years, only because I've been too busy to change (and when I have down time, I'm not thinking about my pest control services). Why, many you ask, don't I think of them? Because they come so rarely. The first year and a half that I owned this house, they sprayed once. Then after that they came twice in 6 months.

Then didn't hear from them again for a year. Sounds like a great, reliable service, right? Not only that, but when they DO come, they leave side gates WIDE OPEN. This most recent time my neighbor had to come and knock on my door to tell me that he saw my husky run off. What a great representation of the company. TLDR: They come to your house whenever they need more money (no schedule at all) and then leave gates open.

The ONLY pest service worth your money in all of KC! I've used Gunter for 10 years in my home and with three companies I managed. I would never consider any other pest service. I find the service workers are kind, friendly and always dressed professionally. Have never minded having them in my home.

DO NOT USE! Gunter sprayed our apartment for roaches. We were still seeing new ones 2 1/2 weeks later. I called to let them know and they said they would come back out to take care of the problem. There was no mention of a change. The technician came back and placed traps around the problem area which should have been done the first time. While the technician was there, he told us there was no charge for this visit.

We received a bill in the mail a few weeks later. So, I called to inquire about the bill, Deb said it was correct. I mentioned how the technician even told us there was no charge and there was no mention of a charge when I called to have them come back since their service did not work the first time. Deb said, "Well there is no guarantee!" I let her know that I was not going to pay for this second visit since I was told there was no charge and she said, "Well then you will be sent to collections and hung up."

Household pests can be a problem in older houses, so it is advisable to know a good pest control service. Gunter Pest Management do an excellent job of spraying for pests, but my pleasure largely derives from how kind they are about working with my schedule and with my pets and children. The technician was very clear and courteous about my concerns for the health and safety of my babies and animals.
