The women answering the phone (Janet I think) is absolutely horrible. The few interactions we had with her were very unprofessional and rude. She definitely doesn't like her job and it shows. The extermination itself went okay (so far, its only been 1 day) but we ended up getting locked out after the tenting which Janet said has never happened in 40 years, however I see multiple reviews claiming the same issue. The customer service alone is reason enough to stay far far away from this company. Give Terminix a try they are way more friendly, even if the prices are a little higher.

Haskell recently tented my house and did a fantastic job. I have had them doing my pest control for awhile as well, and have been nothing but happy. The people in the office are super helpful and polite. Overall: great company.

Haskell just completed our fumigation and the process was better than I expected. Rob, the inspector, has been absolutely fantastic. I live in a very old wood frame building (1920) and we have a warranty with Haskell. Rob has come the past couple years for our annual Inspection and found a couple areas of activity. Since the building was last tented in 2016 Rob recommended to retent.

It was some work on the end of the association (to prep including trimming back trees etc) but Haskell did a great job and my place was as I left it. Janet (who works in the office) was great at scheduling and communicating changes to the dates due to weather etc. Rob did a nice job with the pre- tent prep meetings to educate all the owners on how to prep /what to do /not do.

A lot of their business is dependent on tiny bugs, and sometimes the weather, which is out of their control. I would recommend Haskell for your termite services %. Thanks for all the hard work ROB!

I use Haskell's as one of our vendors and I love it because the office staff and tech's are professional and really get the job done. Sara at the office has the best way of always making things happen and is really amazing to get on the phone with her great personality and care. Promised me that my facility would be ready and open for business. They left the door locked and communication about scheduling was lacking. Lost thousands of dollars as a result of no communication. I verified 5x with the company thr schedule and I was left hanging.

We had to have our house fumigated and they were very efficient and did a wonderful job. We love the warranty option and will keep it in case we need it. Thank you Haskell for a great job and your wonderful employees and all the hard work. Services: General pest inspection, Termite extermination

A Sales rep came to my house. I pointed to 1 hole on the ceiling made by wooden termites. While there, the sales rep noticed multiple holes and recommended spot treatment. The tech came out and only treated 1 hole. He did not look for further holes that his colleague discovered. He did fume the attic, but it did not reach the termite area. They refused to come back to treat the other areas. They made an easy $250. Thats no way to run a company. On top of that, the tech asked if we had a ladder he could use Unreal.

We had a warranty with the purchase of our new home, to get a yearly inspection we had to prepay for the upcoming year. Which will start Nov 2021 we had to pay upfront (in August), which we paid, then we found out they only cover flying termites, so we told them we are not going to use their services starting NOV 2021 and we want a refund. They said " you have a contract and we are not refunding" We NEVER signed anything. service has not started yet but they are still refusing to refund. If you need a pest control who covers ALL termites with a Million dollar policy and great customer service try using Home Team Pest Defense

Their customer service is horrendous! I spoke to Janet multiple times and she's incredibly rude. I called because I was able to see a key was left in my door through the security cameras. When I explained to her that I could see that a key was left in my door she replied with "it's a 3 day process it's only day two the guys will be back tomorrow" she made zero effort to address the keys left hanging in the door.

I repeated the reason for my call she sighed heavily and followed up with "Oh my God!" In frustration. That lady is a horrible representation of the Haskell company! After 3 attempts she finally told me it's a split key and no one can access the house without the other half of the key. I had multiple interactions with that woman and each one was equally horrendous.

She had the worst attitude she should seriously consider another career because she's lousy at customer service. In addition to the lousy customer service one of the employees used my bathroom and left a mess behind and the toilet seat up! The workers also disconnected the gutter in multiple spots. I had to call 3 times and at promised I'd get a call back WHICH TO DATE HAS NOT HAPPENED!

Instead some guy randomly shows up and knocked on my door. I work from home and don't need this kind of disruption. I could have coordinated a time to meet with him. He came with a small step stool to fix my gutter. He tells me "I'm surprised this is the only damage. they usually do a number". Are you kidding me? You know these folks are causing damages and openly admit like there's nothing wrong with it? I'm telling you. pay a little extra and go with somebody else. Haskell is not at all professional and nothing but a headache to deal with!

I can't speak for other people, only my review. My wife and I found out that we had termites, from another inspector, 2 months after we closed on our home. We got in touch with Rick, who was nothing but great. He's efficient, easy going, fair, and overall said what the company followed through. We tried to do our due diligence and help with removing, opening doors, and preparing for the fumigation.

Everything was ready Sunday night and by Wednesday afternoon we were allowed to return. We appreciate all the hard work, and the service that Rick provided. Glad to be walking into a termite free home.

Came within window, courteous, gave the bad news thoughtfully and gave me options. Very good price.

Terrible service. They don't return phone calls, and when you finally get them on the phone, they're rude. Shady business practices-they allowed my warranty to expire without notice, then told me it was my fault for not sending a check. I said who sends a check without an invoice? Oh well, I guess that's my problem.

Unfortunately our association is under contract with Haskell. We have been trying to get a treatment for live termites in our building and the best they can do is send a rep to inspect over 10 business days later. They have not returned messages left, nor have any interest in speeding up their process to take care of live and active termites causing damage to the property. If you are at all interested in profession, prudent service, take your money elsewhere!

This company tented my house some 4-5 years ago. I paid them the annual renewal on the contract and suddenly I realized that I did not get a bill for renewal. I called the company and I am told they no longer service this area. So in essence they took my money after tenting my house when there was little to no chance of needing another treatment and then as the years progressed when they are exposed to having to do work, presto they are nowhere to be found. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

UNBELIEVABLY UNPROFESSIONAL! Unresponsive. Unreliable. I had problems with them from the day they tented my home. I'll spare the details, but they are a mess of a company. They don't return your phone calls, they don't confirm appointments or keep you updated on the process. When my home was cleared for me to return, THEY CALLED THE WRONG NUMBER AND LEFT A VM, so I spent an extra day just sitting around waiting for someone to call me so that I could go home!

My favorite part, however is how they left an electrical wire hanging from a tree and took 3 days to come back and fix it. I am currently staying in my guest house while my bathroom is being re-done, so maybe they didn't think anyone was home, but when they finally came back, their employees were running around my yard yelling and throwing my dogs ball around.?! I thought they were a bunch of kids trespassing so I ran out of my house and confronted them. They were obviously embarrassed and they should be.

Didn't provide the service, billed us anyway and threatened to put a lien on our house. Are you kidding me? Never again.

Great service and value! Being a local Realtor, I have referred Haskell to my customers and they have always thanked me for the referral. I have had them service my own home and have been quite pleased with both their professional and their expertise. I would refer Haskell to anyone who is seeking an extermination service, you will be happy with both their expertise and the value that they offer.

I used Haskell nearly exclusively for a large property management company with thousands of homes across Miami and Tampa. They were extremely responsive, offered us exceptional prices, and nearly always resolved the issues the first time around (sometimes roaches and rats took several treatments, but that's Florida for you.) After I left that company I used Haskell in my personal home to deal with a large roach issue we had when we moved in, and they resolved it quickly and professionally for us!

Now I run a general contracting company in Tampa, and any time one of our clients needs us to sub out pest control on a project, I call Haskell. Rick is one of the managers, and he's extremely knowledgeable about pest control, and is very helpful. His office manager, Lydia, was great at scheduling our work any time it was needed.

If you can get your home prepped and ready for termite tenting, then Haskell makes the rest easy! Everyone at Haskell was professional and courteous during this process. They will come to your home and thoroughly explain details needed for preparation. Kenny was our inspector prior to tenting. He answered all of my last minute questions and was very patient with us as we grabbed our final necessities prior to vacating.

He even offered a bit of extra help when he noticed my stress level as I was making sure everything and everyone (pets and all) would remain safe throughout the process and after. If that were not enough, Kenny even came back to repair a sprinkler that had been damaged during the process, no questions asked! I had several areas of obvious termite activity and after about 4 weeks, I can say I believe our problem is now history.

I had a great experience with Haskell. Was recommended by another termite company and a close friend who were satisfied with their service. Honest, straight forward and courteous. Would reecommend them to anyone I know.

Let me just give you a few examples of the personal touch Haskell adds. When we returned home, our lives already upside down from being out of the house for over 3 days, we were greeted with Marlboro cigarette butts and dead rats all over our yard. Might not have been a big deal to the smoker, but as actually don't appreciate small pieces of litter and trash to pick up, especially since they were in his mouth.

Might not have seemed like a big deal to them, but we actually don't appreciate having to scoop dead rats with a shovel, or having to pull the rib-cage of one from our dog's mouth a week later. One of the dead rats had just been covered with leaves and branches in a large pile intensionally.a solid strategy until it started to rot and stink, and by then Haskell was long gone.

They also tracked in tons of dirt so we came home to that, and the chemical smell was still in the air (despite levels being "safe") which is off-putting. Before doing the job they could tell we were nervous about the chemical because of our pets and stuff. So they straight up lied to us about how it worked. We looked up the Material Safety Data Sheet for the chemical they use and it is not QUOTE "a perfectly safe gas that just sucks the oxygen out of things." Quite the contrary.

If you like being patronized and lied to, then having your house covered in cigarette butts and dead rats, then Haskell is the company for you! UPDATE: Termites are back already. Less than 3 months later. Cool, cool -_-

Your employees are a holes truck 132 was at the Thorntons gas station and as I pulled past them, the guy in the passenger side with a tatooo on his right leg, flung his door open almost hitting my car while still moving and they both started laughing, then he stared at me like he wanted me to fight him, if this is how they act in public, I would never hire them.

Efficient, effective and trustworthy. After using them, I paid the annual insurance in case the drywood termites came back. When they did come back, Haskell promptly re-tented the house - no arguing, no cost to me.

Made me wait over a week for appointments only to not take care of my issue. I had an animal living in my attic that they tried to trap unsuccessfully. The technician who came out told me to leave my attic open and my garage open and hopefully the animal would leave on its own. They were completely disrespectful of my time, coming 5 hours after my scheduled appointment time and leading to my missing an entire day of work. Would not recommend.

No Stars if I could! Don't waste your money. You might as well hand your hard earned money to the ants, spiders and bugs they say they will stop. This company are nothing but a bunch of con artists ripping off families that work hard for their money. The contract (which they don't explain or tell you ahead of time) is a lien on your property waiting to happen. Charges for no service and a slightly past due notice created a letter from them that was received on a Friday that they would file a lien on our property (they were charging a file fee of 150.00) on Monday giving us no time to respond. Dominique the owner is a FRAUD! Please do not use this company you will be sorry!

This company TWICE tented my elderly parents home for bedbugs taking their money TWICE with in 3-4 months knowing nothing kills bedbugs but heat. Instead of telling my mother chemicals will NOT kill bed bugs and referr her to a company that GUARANTEES killing bed bugs they took my elderly parents money who are on a fixed income. My 82yr old mother was knowingly taken advantage of in the tune of over $3000.

I HATE having to over ride my mother because she is a proud and energetic woman who gets pissed off at me for protecting her because she thinks l think she's stupid when l KNOW because of her pride she is being taken advantage of due to shisters knowing most 80 yr old people do not have access to internet and proper information. Shame on Haskells! You were more concerned about putting money in your pockets than guiding a worn down elderly lady to a different business that guarantees killing the bed bugs.

Do not let this company tent your home! I live in a condo and did not have the choice which company tented my home. They have tented other buildings in my complex and the tents have torn on more then one occasion. This week they tented my building. What a disaster. There are holes in the tarps and after some calling around and research, they aren't doing the tenting correctly.

The tent tore the first night in the middle of the night and now because my complex has a contract with them they have to come back and redo it. This company needs to be reported for letting all that Vikane leak out each time the tent rips. They shouldn't have a license to do this. Horrible company!

We are contractor's and have used this company for years on homes we remodel and have referred their services to hundreds of people including various local realtors who now use them. Called them a few days ago and inquired about regular service at our personal home and we're given what we thought was a decent price for yearly service. When technician arrived he proceeded to go over contract which included a initial cost of $150.00.

This was not discussed during initial phone call. We were told $75.00 quarterly and that it would be $300.00 a year. My husband called Dominique at Haskell to inquire about discrepancy and was cussed at and called stupid. Needless to say we did not go with quarterly service and we will be letting our realtors know how we were treated and they will never get another referral from us. Very unprofessional and rude! Beware of what they tell you. Bait and switch!

Awful service! I was expected to cancel with 60 days notice on a month to month contract after the initial year on my contract was up. In the end I paid for a quarter of pest control I didn't even need or receive. Avoid these guys.awful way to treat a customer of 2 years.

We've had good experiences with this company so far. Had them tent our house a year ago for a bad termite infestation and haven't had any issues so far. They come by every quarter and spray for pests too and have been consistently friendly.

Avoid this company. Had service contacts with them for a year. Completed our contract and called to pay last invoice and informed them that I was canceling service (in their defense, I had no issue with the service but wanted to consolidate with the company who held the termite warranty on our house for simplicity and savings). Yesterday, we receive a call saying the technician will be out today to spray.

In an attempt to mitigate the problem I call to explain that this is not necessary as we had canceled service 41 days earlier. The manager informs me that "no written termination request is on the account and per the contract i must give 60 days." Still trying to be reasonable, I explain that we fulfilled the year contract and called to cancel over a month ago to which he states the contract carries over month to month and will not be terminated unless 60 days written notice is given.

So let me get this right. I have to give you 60 days notice on a 30 day contract.!?!? Not to mention, when I called to cancel, no one stated that written notice was required. I faxed over written notice last night and had asked the manager to cancel the treatment or at least postpone. In a passive aggressive tone, he states, "you're under contract. " As a small business owner I understand the importance of contracts but given that the original terms of the contract were met and a verbal contract was made to cancel service, I find this very unprofessional, unreasonable, and nearly fraudulent. Save yourself the frustration with these scammers who are more interested in exterminating your finances than providing ethical, professional customer service.

The person who did our service was good how ever, we had a Yellow Jacket nest over a foot round and 1 on the tree. The next day they returned and was called again. This happened 2 more times, for the $250 they charged they never fixed the problem, they should have at least fixed it for what they charged.
