When Jesse Nugent started Hunter Pest Control in 1988 his idea was simple. Provide the best personalized service possible and do it at the customers convenience. This idea was born of the frustration he experienced while working for other pest control companies. It was clear to him that the customers convenience and service experience were the last priority.His goal when he started the company would be to prioritize the customer and work around their schedule. As you might have guessed people really liked this and this concept has been the driving force of our business model for all these years.

Hunter Pest Control services for residential customers includes ant, termite, flea, spider, and rodent control. Hunter Pest Control enjoys the opportunity to service commercial buildings and places of business. We give our commercial customers the same family treatment and attention to detail that we do with our Residential customers.
Our cleanout service is the initial service we perform at your house when we begin regular service. During this service we will:. Treat your home inside and out (including the attic and garage) for general pests including Roaches, Rats, Mice, Crickets, Silverfish and spiders. Although we don't require service agreements or contracts we do recommend regular quarterly service for our residential customers.
Hunter Pest Control enjoys the opportunity to service commercial buildings and places of business. We give our commercial customers the same family treatment and attention to detail that we do with our Residential customers. We service over 40 Churches and schools in the Houston area as well as numerous other commercial establishments and are happy to provide a reference list to potential clients.
Large Roaches - The two main large roaches we encounter in our area are called the American and Smokey brown cockroach. No matter what you call them they are downright scary. There's something about them that just makes our skin crawl. As scary as they are they are not the hardest roaches to control.

Phenomenal company to work with. Very responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. We unfortunately got hit with an undiscovered termite infestation after our first home purchase. We're lucky we found these guys. At least we now have the piece of mind that we're working with someone competent and capable of helping us solve our termite problem.

What can I say, absolutely fantastic! Every single contact, visit, communication we have had with everyone at Hunter Pest Control has been first class and I am very particular with everything. We use them at home and work, and highly recommend. Ben is our technician and it is always such a pleasure when he does our regular visits. My experience with Hunter Pest Control was nothing but great! It was easy to schedule, the costs were presented up front, the visit was on time and efficient. I felt like they can really be trusted! Really recommend! I am having issues with fire ants and rather than rip me off, Tinnie shared what she recommends for folks dealing with the same issue on a smaller scale. I am always so worried about getting ripped off by pest control companies, so it was refreshing (and somewhat unbelievable) to hear an honest answer free of charge.

Hunter Pest Control is a family-owned company. The technicians are warm, caring, and professional. They know what they're doing. They are never rushing. Each technician is amazing and really take time to know our family and to answer any questions. Absolutely recommend! I hate bugs and creepy crawlers. They made me feel like we were in good hands and the tech that came to our house was VERY knowledgeable on insects. We had our first appointment where they go through your entire house and show you points of entry, which they also email to you after with pictures and recommendations. He went into the attic and all the way down from there.
Then he sprayed the house but communicated well with what he was doing and what he had found. After as he was wrapping up, he talked to me about what to expect and if any concerns come up what next steps look like. Great experience over all! On time and moved efficiently. Excited for this partnership to keep our home safe from termites and bug free.

Hunter Pest Control was great. They were very responsive and easy to schedule a new home inspection and treatment. Ben was the technician that came to our home and was very respectful and COVID conscious. Not only did he do a great job but he also gave us plenty of important tips for first time homeowners like us. 100% would recommend and will be using them for all our pest control needs.

Initially recommended to me by my engineering inspector when I bought my home, Hunter Pest Control has been my go to exterminator for more than 20 years. The original owner, Jesse, has retired, but he trained his son Jack well, and service remains consistently outstanding. I recommend Hunter without reservation.

Whoa do these guys take their job seriously! I learned more things about my home from the Hunter Pest Control technician than the guy who inspected my home! I have been in my home for two years and started noticing a roach or two at night. I thought it was time to schedule a pest control visit. It was so great to talk to an actual staff person when I scheduled vs a back and forth with an answering machine.
Mark was my technician. He was professional, informed and thorough. He didn't just show up to spray he inspected my home very carefully and documented any areas of my home where pest may enter and cause an issue. He also explained all the chemicals he was using. It was raining when he came out so let me know if there were any issues to call and they would spray again. I'm glad I used these guys and plan to continue to do so!
