I've had an account with Southern Pest Control for 2 years and haven't been disappointed yet. Today I had a termite inspection Reginald Johnson Jr. He arrived exactly at the time of appointment and completed the service and thoroughly explained what I should look for to identify termites. I truly appreciate how professional and courteous to provide service to me.
All of the technicians who have visited my home have conducted themselves in the same manner which is the reason I will continue my contract with Southern Pest Control company.

Fun fact: mice don't like peanut butter! I contacted Southern Pest Control about a month ago when I saw a mouse. I live in a condo, and they were unable to help me, but during my free consultation, the 2 men showed me where the mouse probably came in. I bought traps and they stayed empty for weeks! I called them and asked for advice. That's how I found out that mice don't like peanut butter, which is what I was using for bait.
The man that answered the phone suggested Nutella instead. 24 hours later I finally caught the nasty thing! The people that run this business are very kind, punctual & professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing pest control!

Our tech today was Reginald Johnson Jr. and he was AMAZING! His positivity made my day. We unexpectedly had contractors at the house at the same time as his appointment and he was able to work around them effortlessly. Our technician is Jr Smith for our Atlanta, Georgia home who is very knowledgeable and is always professional. He has been our technician for more than a decade. He loves his work and is very thorough. I highly recommend him and Sovereign for any pest control issue, preventative care or monitoring service. He always provides five star service.

I enrolled in the 2 year plan for my second home in Georgia. It provides the best value for us. Jr Smith was my technician and he was very informative, professional and showed great care in providing the coverage I need. I hope to be able to use him for every call. My only suggestion is that a monthly exterior visit should be automatic without the need for call. Otherwise this is a must-have service for us.

Unfortunately, I had a poor customer service experience with the Sales rep who answered my call at this company. I requested pricing for a termite inspection and informed the associate it was specifically for a real estate transaction only. The first question I was asked was "how did you find us"? That's okay, but it turns out the "hard sell" and less than honest sales tactics seem to abound here.
She then gave me an unusually high number of $140 for a simple termite inspection (average price is $85-99). When I questioned this, she admitted this price included spraying service. The real cost was $99, much less than originally quoted, and I discovered a Group offering the service for only $35 - no, she didn't mention this, fair I suppose. I reiterated I was only interested in the termite inspection, and needed to know the actually cost, and if appointments were available same day or same week.
The sales rep repeatedly stated their company was a family owned company in existence for over 40 years and that I NEEDED spraying services. She said I also NEEDED to get on a routine pest spraying schedule. I again reminded her I was not interested, and only wanted to know their availability. She could not give me any idea of appointment availability unless I agreed to give her my full name, email, and phone number (for their database no doubt).
I said I wasn't comfortable providing my personal information and as she was not willing to give me any idea of appointment availability without doing so, that was that. In honesty, I didn't use any pest/inspection services here, but while I support local and family businesses as a matter of course, in this case based on my experience I cannot recommend.

I have used Sovereign Pest Control for years (out of GA) and am very happy with their service. One technician in particular stands out from the rest and it's JR Smith. "Junior" always goes above and beyond and makes sure to address any specific issues. He is also extremely personable. My son and I look forward to seeing his smiling face! I love the on-demand service option and ease of scheduling. I also appreciate the office calling when a technician is running late (something that is unavoidable with Atlanta traffic!).
