Carpenter ants are large (10 mm or more) black or brown ants often found in wooded areas. However, they are known to enter homes also, especially in the spring. These ants are most often seen one at a time, and they are by far the largest ants seen on the property. In the spring, you may find large numbers of flying ants.
Millipedes, sowbugs, roly polys, pill bugs and centipedes. These are all multi-legged non-insect type creatures that inhabit the same type of wet, highly mulched areas around the home. In the spring and summer these creatures sometimes migrate by the thousands, marching toward and into your house. No one knows for sure what causes these migrations.

I called their office this morning about my scheduled appointment for routine service I had today to let them know I had another appointment I forgot about and to see if they could make sure to come after my other appointment. The person on the phone said she would have the tech call me back. Dave called me back within minutes and was very accommodating to my request. Dave helped get rid of our ants and spider webs as well. Dave was very thorough and explained everything he needed to take care of. Coastal Pest has always been very prompt and helpful. We will continue to use them and Dave is the best!

Always on time (or early) and very informative on what's being performed and why. Exterminators are always very friendly and respectful. Never a bad experience and would reccomend! Cedric kept us updated when he would arrive and did arrive on time. Found past terminate activity that I wasn't aware of during annual terminate inspection. Moved away heavy garage refrigerator from wall and other furniture throughout home to thoroughly inspect. Found several areas where there was past activity (termite tubes) and treated. Very happy with service. I have them visit every other month and am comfortable that I'm doing all I can to keep pests at bay.

I have been using this service for about a year. The service representatives are very courteous. They always ask if there are specific areas that may need to be serviced. Usually have the inside and outside done which has been a tremendous help. I was having issues with water bugs but since using Coastal Pest Control, I have not had that issue.

Zach was incredible today. Detailed inspection of our crawl space and a full report on access points and what to do. Cedric, another tech we are used to seeing, equally competent and professional. We met with Joe today and he was just the nicest guy. Some pest control folks come out and just want to educate you to DEATH. Joe came to work. Set up a new plan to service our home. When I called the lady who answered the phone was super nice the whole time as I asked several questions. Cedric the technician came out and was friendly, thorough, knowledgeable, great at communicating and overall highly professional. Update: 2nd visit from them. I wasn't home but my husband was. When I asked him how it went, he said "Fantastic" and "Awesome"!
Being a man of few words when it comes to this stuff and being the critic he is, I was happy to hear he had a "fantastic" experience! But then he went on.
