Better Pest Control was created, by my father, Jerry Libecki in 1959. I purchased the company in 1983. I have been licensed as a termite inspector since 1972.

Better Pest Control offers landlords and homeowners a wide variety of services. Pests are best controlled with a monthly service and often a monthly service can be a less expensive alternative to a one-time treatment. However, we understand that not all owners desire a monthly commitment, so we offer One-Time spray services.

This company was contracted by my apartment complex for a possible termite infestation. David was very professional, personable, and explained everything that he was doing and observing. If the time ever comes where I need to hire a pest control service, Better Pest is at the top of my list for having great communication.

This review is based on a pest inspection only. David of Better Pest Control was professional and upfront. He called and asked if he could show up a few minutes early which I was ok with. Inspection was done in a timely manner. Now, the business office could use some updating with their customer service as far as limiting their mistakes which in turn, could cost them clients. Problem was solved quickly so I am okay with the process. Unable to comment on pest exterminating services from BPC as I have yet to use them.

September of last year, my family sold my dads house, and the realtor contacted Better Pest Control to do the inspection. Now 7 months later I get a call from the bookkeeper stating the agent never paid the inspection bill. I asked for a copy of the bill, of which she sent to me, it was made out the the realtor not me. I'm not responsible for the bill yet she continues to send me emails, wanting payment. I'm not a happy camper. If you want to deal with billing issues this place is the place!

This company is a better pest control. They'll not get rid of your pests and would like you to sign a contract to come out monthly so they can keep you as a life long customer and generate income off of you. I would give them a star rating of 0 if I could. Avoid this place if you can. Worst decision for pest control ever and a waste of time and money.
I called this place and the lady on the phone suckered me in to giving them a shot. I just needed a one time treatment and she was making it sound like I had a super deal of $80. She also said that there was a 90 warranty and they would come back after 2 weeks if there were still pests. Don't listen to her, NO! Verbal conversation is not a binding contract.
Depending on the technician's opinion, your place has to be clutter free in order for the warranty to be valid. What does clutter free mean? it's subjective, it was his expertise opinion that validated our warranty or not. Our house had furniture, TVs, tools, books and papers, we can't get rid of everything to make it clutter free. We had pest control before and they did an awesome job. However, it seems that they are no longer in business.
This company comes and sprays everywhere. 4 hours later I literally see no sign of dead roaches and ants in our kitchen. No sign of struggling pests moments before dying. What does this mean? it means that the chemicals that they used are worthless. Might as well spray them with water and see if they'll drown, right? I knew after coming back 4 hours later that this was going to be a waste of money.
I said to myself, maybe it needs a few days or a week for the chemicals to make an impact? 2 weeks after I called them and they said that they won't come back out and it'll be another $45 charge. The lady made it seemed like their treatment killed all of the roaches and ants and within a 2 weeks time span all of our neighbor's pests moved into our house.
No you numb nut, your crappy chemicals didn't work. I told them to go screw themselves and I'll save myself $45. I found a better company to do business with and our house has been pest free. Thanks, but no thanks.

Worst pest-control place ever! They are rude and extremely unorganized, they sprayed my house told me to come back four hours later when I did I walked in the house and there was puddles all over my floor! It smelled horrible (which I expected it to smell really bad) but puddles all over my floor I called them they told me to clean my floors and I said doesn't that defeat the purpose of getting the house sprayed and they said well. we'll just have to come back and spray again, yeah right! like I'm going to let these morons back in my house.
My house smelled so bad my family had to spend the night somewhere else because my house smelled so strong!( mind you I've gotta the house sprayed before and it's taken six hours top and the smells gone) I've called to talk to them to see what can be done and I have not received a call back from the manger. Finding puddles of a harsh chemical on my floor that should not be there is a real serious problem and not calling me back concerned about it is a really big issue there are so many other pest-control places in town that I would not even bother with this one!

The home I grew up in and also my wife's house were taken care of by Better Pest Control. We were both personally attached to the homes because we grew up in these houses as kids. When it was time to sell these sentimental homes Better Pest Control stepped up and took care of all the physical and office work needed for a smooth transition. Better Pest Control is one of the most disorganized and incompetent companies I've ever had to deal with. Initially we revived multiple different prices from the main office, service guy and finance office. It seemed like no one really knew what they were doing. Our main request was to keep our yard safe for our dogs, specifically targeting ticks and fleas.
Multiple times the service guy would come and not spray for ticks, yet insisted his technique would keep them away. However we still had ticks in our yard and even after asking the company would not address this issue. Another request was that they could all us ahead of time and let us know the date they planned on arriving so we cook have someone open the garage, since that was included in the cost of service.
The guy would call at 4:50pm the day before he wanted to come leaving us no opportunity to call him back since he got off at 5pm. Even on the times we did agree on the time he would come early and skip the places of the yard that he couldn't get to unless we were there and leave the bill on the door. This was incredibly frustrating that even after agreeing on a time the service guy still could not stick to this time.
When it rained and we had scheduled pest control I called the office to ask if rain affected the service and nobody had any idea. My husband had to all the company nearly every month to correct their mistakes and they started to get short with him on the phone. After about a year of struggling with no one knowing what they were doing we finally cancelled and went to another company who is taking care of all our requests with great customer service and charging us less money then Better Peat Control did. Honestly I feel taken advantage of by this company and feel like they were running a scam.
They didn't even ask us why we wanted to cancel service, apologize or attempt to make a mends. In fact they wanted to send us a bill for next months service even though no one had come out. I would never recommend this company to anyone. When you're paying someone to keep your yard clear of pests so your animals and children can play outside they should be taking their job much more seriously. I feel terrible for all the people they are overcharging and under servicing. So glad I got out of that mess.
