I tried three or four different companies before passing their building on rt. 34. The prior companies were nothing but nut jobs who were too busy to handle the small mouse issue I was trying to remedy for my tenant. They were all extremely antisocial and unprofessional. I was actually told that that is the way the business is. So I Gave them a call and received the most professional service and was handled by the most friendly staff in the business. What a pleasure. Their representative who came and did an inspection and estimates was thorough and clear. We hired Allison Pest Control to trap a groundhog that was being a real pest on our property and digging a hole under a porch foundation. We hired them because their price was reasonable compared to other companies we got estimates from and they seem very friendly. It took a week, but we finally did catch a groundhog yesterday about 2pm. I called them right away because they said upfront before we even paid them that "as soon as you see one in the trap call us and we'll send someone our RIGHT AWAY to pick it up".

I was told by the woman in the office yesterday that someone would not be out to pick it up until after 3pm today, a full 24 hours later. Now. normally this would not bother me if the groundhog had been caught out back by the shed, but this one was caught in the trap they left right next to the front porch steps. Its been very warm the last 2 days ( upper 80's) and the smell of feces is overwhelming. I, my family and all who have had to use the porch steps ( mailman etc) yesterday and today have had to be exposed to the smell of feces and urine, which is NOT healthy or pleasant by any means. THIS is unacceptable.

If they promised someone would be out 'right away' then someone should have been out before close of business yesterday or FIRST thing this morning. We can't even use our porch, and even going in and out of the house is limited. I am awaiting to see if they clean the feces up after carrying the cage away or if it will be left to us. This cage isn't sitting on grass, it's on concrete. I would NOT use them again EVER.
