Adding onto this 06/16/2022: Sherry and Daniel have always been super responsive and friendly. They always address my concerns and follow up with a professional attitude. I wasn't sure about using a National brand for pest control, but having the same service techs has felt very local. They do a great job and if there are any issues they even answer calls and text messages after hours. Also, I haven't had any bugs or mosquitoes or termites that I know of.
Great job all around. Michelle was great. Sales Person was very friendly. Every interaction was good. Price was kind of high, but satisfied with service and communication. Calling the 800 was annoying because sat on hold for 15 minutes.

I own rent house where there has been infestation of Roaches. It was a bad case and Terminix has gone the extra miles in addition to the general contract terms in order to eliminate the roaches. They exceed the average services warranted by a company. Services: Termite inspection, Cockroach extermination, General pest inspection, Ant extermination

I requested three times to have the person that was assigned to me to be changed and I am still getting contacted by that person. When I called to complain again, I was put on hold for over thirty minutes only to be told be whom ever called me while I was on hold that she has talked to the service tech and they requested that I be switched. They schedule the time and contact you. If you like being treated like a child and the questioned why you want to rescheduled. Then choose Terminex. Personally I am not impressed.

Signed up for their monthly service. So far they have sprayed numerous time and we still have ants, wasps, spiders etc. We are moving in a few weeks and i called to cancel the service and we have to pay a cancellation fee of 886$ and moving isn't an acceptable reason to cancel. We are moving into an apartment while we build a house and won't be needing terminix's services, plus there service has been garbage anyways. Do not sign up for the monthly service! it's not worth the price and you aren't allowed to cancel.

Technician Stephen Sharp who services my home is outstanding, Stephen arrives with a friednly smile and attitude, explains everything he is doing. Stephen recommends additional services available for home / yard. If you want a rating on Stephen I will give Stephen the top/best rating of a 5 STAR (1 STAR being will not recommend - 5 STAR will recommend to family and friends). I selected Terminix because it was the highest rated termite company in the area. Terminix planted 15 traps in the yard after inspecting the house. I'm unsure if they sprayed any termite poison as they worked and I didn't monitor them. I am certain that ant poison was sprayed since I found many dead ants the following morning. The real test will be what happens when/if termites are found. It has been said that in Tulsa, it's not if you'll get termites, just when.

Terminix was wonderful the first few years I used them, but the past two years has been horrible. They came out the last part of February 2022. I walked around the outside of the house with the serviceman and pointed out areas that needed to be addressed. He said that wasn't what he was there for, but he would put it in his report so they would send someone else to take care of it.
No one called, no one showed. I called them a couple of days later and told them what had happened. They said none of the things I mentioned were in the serviceman's report, but scheduled a time for someone to come out and fix the issues. The days they were supposed to come we had some bad weather so they texted me that they would have to reschedule.
They were supposed to come to my house this past Saturday between 8:00 and 10:00am. No one called. No one texted, and no one showed up. The next day (Sunday) someone called me while I was at church and left me a message saying they would be at my house on Monday between 1:00 and 3:00. I tried to call them back to say that wasn't a good time for me, but got no answer. I'm now waiting on a call from a supervisor.

I write this to commend Victor Holguin, who works for Terminix. Every time he comes to our house, either for inspection or treatment, he always is well-mannered, observant, thorough and patient. He always leaves the job cleaner than when he started. Most important, he always answers our calls promptly. I give him five stars because he deserves both the stars and my time to write the review. Overall, we are happy with our Terminix experience for more than ten years.

Take this as a WARNING. This company has been nothing but unprofessional. I started getting charged the incorrect amount for my monthly service. I would have to call every month to get it corrected and then another extra charge started appearing. After the 5th time of this occurring, them not even refunding me the extra charge and them performing poor service on multiple occasions(they literally didn't show up one day and said they did), I wanted to cancel the service.
I called the corporate number on multiple occasions and can't get anywhere. They tell me the local branch needs to do it. I have been trying for two months to cancel the service and have literally not heard from one local representative. The corporate number says the manager is going to call me and no call. They then said the regional manager is going to contact me and no call. This has been an absolute nightmare. Do not use this company.

My client contracted with terminix for years. They tented his house three years ago and treated it for subterranean termites. We hired another termite company to inspect for sale. The work that terminix was paid to do was not done. They just pocketed the money and didn't do the work. I've tried calling them and have left 5 messages for the manager in the past 6 weeks.
I wanted to give them an opportunity to do the work they were paid for. I have not received a callback. I will be reporting them to the state contractor's licensing board.

Had a problem with mice - For a $297 down payment and signature for a 1 year contract at $109 a month, the technician (professional, honest) sealed off a basement window and bilco cellar doors. Also set 4 traps in my kitchen. The salesman claimed if a mouse was caught, just call and someone would come and remove and set new trap. You guessed it! I called technician twice - no call back.
I called the salesman - on vacation. I called Terminex and after holding 6 minutes was told something wrong with phones - call some other time! Worst example of how not to take over a smaller outfit and then start to loose clients immediately due to lack of customer service. we were so fed up of the not showing up since they took over our account that we sent them a letter of cancellation. to this date they continue to bill our cards and their technician finally showed up a few days ago without a clue that we had cancelled their services. of course they don't answer phones, put you on endless hold and then the phone hangs up on you when the hold is over. if terminix takes over the company you are currently using, immediately disconnect their auto pay and look elsewhere.

DO NOT hire this company for any reason. You will absolutely regret it. Their scheduling is a nightmare. they just show up without letting you know then the exterminator blames "corporate" for the mixup. Tonight I got a call from them saying my service was coming tomorrow morning at 8am. When I said that's the first I'd heard he said, very beligerently, "yeah well this is your notice".
When I said I need more notice than that he huffed and said "Well how much notice do you need?" To which I hung up on him and called the 800# to cancel. What an ORDEAL that was. you give all your information, explain that you want to cancel, and then you get put on hold for 15 minutes when you get a new person you have to explain everything to again, and then they put you on hold forever. All these guys want is your money. When they come out they are completely unprofessional and spray for 10 min and leave. I've had more spiders, roaches, and bugs after the spray then the before. I'm sending a complaint to the better business bureau and refusing to pay. You can't get ahold of anyone.

KI made a contract with them for $139 initially and 89. every quarter. This contract was made over the phone and 2 minutes later I got an email that if I did my contract online Id get a $50 discount. They get there and tell us that this price doesnt include ROACHES and that this isnt for California. I then asked " so you take customer banking info for estimates?

This is the worst national company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. I've had a contract with Terminix since April, 2018, for regular pest control, termites & exclusion. During this time, I have NEVER ONCE had the office / supervisor follow through on the report of the technicians. I have personally observed the various technicians take pictures of entry points that had not been properly sealed, then call the supervisor / manager and leave either a voicemail or a text for them to call me to set up an appointment to fix the problems.they have NEVER followed through.
The last inspector (Nick Cotenas) on June 11 found two points of entry.he sent his report in to Terminix and told me I would hear from "Moe" who would schedule the work. Moe didn't call & still hasn't called, despite my reminding Cotenas via voicemail. I again called on July 18 and reminded him that he had not done an interior inspection, although my emails from Terminix told me to be home because the interior inspection is very important.he informed me that he "was not told to do an interior inspection" but that he would do an interior inspection on July 22 and would call me first regarding a time.
He has still not called or arrived. Today was the last straw. I called again and was informed that I should "just give him 5 minutes".that was 4 hours ago and still no response. My dog has now been skunked twice and I feel certain that skunks have taken up residence either under my house or in my cellar.

The biggest RIP off. They said they were going to do entire mobile including under it. They sent a very very old man who the neighbors watched set on his truck texting for over a hour. When I came home I smelled nothing at all. I have hardwood floors you could tell nothing had been sprayed. There are roaches everywhere alive and well. He even sent e mail acting like he sprayed and even admitted never went outside. This is a scam dont waste your money call someone else

This company is not for real. I've written to them and tried to reach them by phone and never get a response. Their inspector are usually a no-show and no-call. Those few times that a so-called "inspector" has come out, he has stood in front of my garage and inspected nothing. They are simply scammers.

Pest inspector Scott from the Lakewood location was my 2nd of 3 quotes for bird removal. I told him that I wanted a one time service of removing 3, possibly 4 bird nests and chicken-wiring off around the entire perimeter. He pushed me like a car salesman for a service agreement and more unnecessary things (I used to be a car salesman, so I recognize and don't do too well with closing tactics) I stood my ground.
He then emailed me a quote around $1,500 and told me before that, all I have to do is esign the quote in the email. Thank God I read all 15 pages, it insinuated "renewal" AND was $3,800!?!?!?!? Now, the main reason for the post. So, for sake of errors and misunderstanding, I emailed him shortly thereafter asking for clarification. He did not reply, I emailed again, still no reply.
I called and left a message, no call back. I finally sent a text to his mobile phone telling him to lose my contact info. Pretty sure though he didn't reply because I wasn't a pushover. When you pay for a service, you want what you're paying for. Don't believe the good reviews, they were probably paid by Terminix! Go with seone else.

Hired them in good faith for a bedbug treatment. As always the moon was promised and execution was just poor or non existing. This company has no accountability, bad communication and one of the worst company's I have dealt with. If there was a bit of accountability they would have just refunded me my money, moved on and improved their service, however, 2 weeks later and probably 5h on the phone with various people still no refund and just denial. Please shop around for different services. It's impossible to get anything back if you aren't satisfied or if they did not follow protocol.

Customer service and all of our people who come out have been great ( with the exception of the inspector / salesman ). They would had gotten 5 stars but then this happens! We had an inspection of our home done. We agreed to do the work needed which included some roof work. Our inspector from Terminix gave us the estimate and we accepted. We needed some dry rot wood replaced and then they painted and the issue causing the problem repaired as well.
We asked prior to the work if they would also be repairing the issue causing the problem, yes yes yes, we were told. Yay! Absolutely glad to be getting the roof repaired finally! Well, The repair men come out and replace all ( most of the rotten wood) none of the wood with fungus. ( nothing on the second floor roof). So the guy in charge asked if he could email me the papers to sign.
I told him Of course, I then asked him what they had done to resolve the issue causing the wood rot and fungus issues. He said we are not repairing the issue causing the problem, we are only replacing dry rot wood in specific areas. Uh- oh. We were told that the issues were going to be resolved. He then goes on to say that the whole perimeter of the roof needed paper added, replaced to repair the issue and he was not doing it.
I get a call from the inspector, who also told us that the repairs for the paper would be done. ( the issues causing the problems). While talking to the inspector I clearly asked once again if the repairs would be done that were causing the dry rot and fungus. He said yes. Well guess what folks. It will be a patch job that all in all will probably only cover approx. 20 linear ft at most once done.
This is a very small fraction of the repair that needs to be done. I guess we got screwed over with a half ass patch up roof job by Terminix. Please Don't let this happen to you!

Terminix just killed a family pet, bc they were 2 start at 3pm not at 1130am. They did nothing 2 help.never called the main office. They did nothing, the owner came home at 1pm 2 c her house tented gases going in. Her pet dahlia was insides. Stupid Terminix says they looked 4 cat, heads up u assholes pets do hide from strangers. They saw litter box a suitcase packed 2 go.
They killed her. Again don't ever use terminix. They r 2 stupid n there's ur proof. Office isn't 2 bright either. I'm hoping the owner drags Terminix down the hole 2 hell. Another co. that has no clue what's going on. DONT USE TERMINIX.!

I spoke to a Terminix representative by phone. He asked me if I would be interested in their service. I told him I did not think I had termites. He said that he would setup an appointment for an inspection. On the day of the inspection, I stayed home all day waiting for them to show up. No one ever showed up. A few weeks later I receive an invoice in the mail for $175.00.
I called the company and explained the problem and they said they would cancel the account. Since then I have been receiving phone calls from the company asking me to pay the bill. Even though they never provided any service. I have called the company repeatedly to explain why I'm never going to pay that bill since I believe the bill is fraudulent. The phone calls still have not stopped and I now plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

The first time they cancelled at the time of appointment after I had rearranged everything to be there saying, "I don't work this late, I don't know why they made the appointment".
The inspector lied to them about making an appointment with me the following week. When they finally came out they were more than twice as much as my other estimate. I got pressured to go with them on the spot, when I balked the inspector lowered estimate by $1000, saying he was authorized to do so if I "signed right away." This estimate was still considerably higher than the other company who had not pressured me and who had shown up on time to appointments. It was a no-brainer to go with Borite, who were courteous and got the job done on time and well. Terminix was awful to deal with.

Do not use this company! Have had a number of problems over the years including today -a no show for tenting. Got a call last night with an updated time of arrival. 9-12 rather than 8 am. Waited and waited. Called them. Oh Luis did not call? Had to cancel No one scheduled with the gas company. @*x*! Unfortunately, this is not just a home. A telemedicine business is operated from the site and time off must scheduled up to 2 months in advance.
I take contractual obligations seriously. Obviously Terminix does not. Terminix is disorganized and irresponsible. In addition for long waiting times for inspections.there is a trail of other problems. Terminix destroyed our carpeting during the last tenting. Bight rust something drug all over white carpet. Had to have the entire carpet replaced. And just TRY to call and find a responsible person! Terminix is a maze of incompetence. Beware!

Terminix is shady, they took advantage of my elderly parents after I inquired about a service for their home. They took the information I gave them and went to parents home claiming I sent them. They believe them and paid 125.00 for service they did not even want. I promptly called to cancel and get refund. Agent agreed to refund and cancel. A month later no refund and now they are playing the legal game and holding my parents to the contract. Now I have to go to small claims court to resolve this. All because I made a phone inquiry. I've used Terminex for about 5 years and it's been an ongoing challenge to get them to text or email prior to coming, but they're use non toxic materials, so I continued with them. This month influx of spiders and ants had me calling 3 times to no avail. Wednesday while cleaning the garden we unearthed a wasp nest. thousands of wasps swarmed and bit. I've called Terminex and have 4 messages to managers.
One called to say he'd get someone scheduled last night and call back. didn't happen. He did tell me the San Jose office was amuck. Past manager fired, many techs fired and others quit. That means trainees will follow. be aware if you pay them their price that they likely won't be there if you need them. Grrrrrr

THINK TWICE before using Terminix! The person inspecting our interior for termites, broke our bedroom shutters. I contacted Terminix afterwards to have the shutters fixed. They promised me they would send someone out to see what the damage was. This never happened. We finally had the work done ourselves. I sent them the invoice. You would think they would reimburse $150, rather then getting another bad review.
All this started in April 2018. To date I have spoken to customer service many times, John Calubrano, Matt, David & Chris Ciccarelli. All of them promised someone would come out to inspect, or, I would receive a check for the broken shutters. Each and everyone I spoke to, OUT & OUT LIED! Be aware, the service may be OK, but if you ever have an issue, customer service has no intension of helping.

I have used Terminix for a number of years, but recently it has gone completely downhill. I tried to schedule an appointment on the phone. They said they cannot schedule out more than 1 week, and they would call back. They did not call, so I had to call several times. I finally got an appointment, and they never showed up. They are very poorly managed. I will no longer be using them, and I would recommend looking elsewhere.

If I could give a 0 star review I would. Worst company I have ever dealt with. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They no showed or called for the first appointment that I took a day off of work for. The technician lied to the service center saying they called my phone and my wife's phone. I called multiple times to ask to speak with a manager with no response.
The technician showed up to our house with no advisement and refused to give me the managers number when asked. The service center person even told us that they have had a horrible time with disconnect between them and the technician and managers. I never do company reviews but people need to know to stay away from this company.

Salesperson going door to door, I said I wasn't interested as we rented and our landlord took care of our insects. He asked again. I again said no thanks, he got a bit pushier, and started to walk off throwing over his shoulder a smart comment in a smart alec type voice, " well I sure hope you don't get bit by a black widow, it could sure hurt".
I sure didn't need his brash comment, a simple thank you anyway, would be much more appropriate. I would think that his boss would require him to be customer friendly, after all, they're selling a public service. SMH

Heard some scratching in the attic and called Terminix. Nice enough people but not the most professional: -Will no show the first appointment despite giving you a two hour window. You will have to call Terminix to find out why they did not show up and make a new appointment. -Do not have boot/shoe covers or pretend not to have them. -Will ask you to hand them rat traps with your bare hands while they wear gloves (this is for a rat trapped in the attic). Um, do I work for Terminix now?
I wonder if they ask all customers to do this for them.hmmm. I'm not even going to speculate if this is a gender/age/race thing. Maybe they ask all of the customers to do this. -Rat traps are the cheap $2 Victor traps and they put a total of two near the attic trap door. Basically, you could hire a handyman to do as much.

Service from this company is lacking. It seems to be getting worse. We had an appointment schedule from 10am to 12pm and no one called to confirm. I called to make sure they were coming, and the customer service lady confirmed that we we were on the schedule. I waited until 12:20, and no one showed. Tried calling their number, and all I got was a busy signal.
Finally was able to chat online with someone. She checked our records and said the tech showed up and called the center to tell them no one was home. I was home all morning. No one knocked on the door or even tried to call. So disappointed in their service. Would not recommend them for your pest control service.

Teminix - Santa Fe Springs should be awarded a minus 5 stars. Rep. was on time for appointment. Smiles and offer to take care of me "today." And he almost did just that. T Found evidence of termites and in the process of describing what the company could do to remove the termites had me sign off on what I thought to be an acknowledgement of the results of the inspection.
In fact I signed a contract for terminix to fumigate my home. He never told me I was, in fact, signing a contract. However, since Terminix posted the contract on line I was able to view it. The damn thing is about 20 pages of small print but I suffered through in only to find on page 18 that under California Law any such contract has a cooling off period of three (3) days, during which time one can cancel the contract. AND THAT'S WHAT I DID.
The lying representative of Terminix (Santa Fe Springs) is Omar Galeno. He never told me that I was signing a contract. Did not mention the three (3) day cooling off period or the right to cancel. On the fourth day I got a call from someone in the Santa Fe Springs wanting to set up a date and time for the tenting (fumigation). Boy did the phone go quite when I informed her that I had cancelled the contract on line and by mailing a copy to them US mail. This place is a FRAUD OMAR GALENO IS A FRAUD BE CARFUL OF ANY TERMINIX REPRESENTATIVE

Today Patrick was here bright at early at 8am to inspect our home for pests. He was thorough, friendly and very knowledgeable about the habits and minds of mice, rats and other pests. Jon then came by to set some mice traps because we recently discovered some fresh droppings and spotted a black mouse crawling along the floor wall! So far my Terminix service guys have been great! I'm looking forward to them handling this issue for us!

Terminix doesn't deserve a star. This is an incredibly terrible company. *Missed appointments no call or accountability *After 1 1/2 years of consistent spraying I had the same bug issue *incredibly late *left alarm in Apartment *took tenants keys then had to change locks *second fumigation missed paper work *lost lots of money moving tenants time ex then no fumigation because of " pipe " aftet building had been inspected 2 times by Terminix Too management will never get on the phone little to no compensation ever RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!

I've never received such terrible service from a company in my life. I started trapping mice in my office regularly and called Terminix since we prepaid for a year of "service". They sent someone out and he placed glue traps everywhere and said he'd be back in a week to check on them. Nobody showed up. I called 3 more times and was given 3 more appointments.
Nobody showed up. After commenting on Terminix's Facebook page about the terrible service I finally heard from the manager of the local Terminix office who made an appointment for last Thursday. Nobody showed up. Sensing a pattern yet? This manager actually called me Friday to make sure the appointment went ok. I left him a message asking him to call me back. He didn't. That was the last straw. Today I told Terminix to cancel my account and send me a refund check for the remaining months.

Called to request an inspection. The guy called during the time slot he was supposed to come and said he was running late at another place he was working on and asked if he could come around the same time slot the next day; I said yes. The next day he didn't show up. I didn't get any calls from him to reschedule again so I didn't bother calling him back.

Let me explain why Terminix gets a 1 star.because you can't select anything worse. I rarely review any business unless they are exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. I felt compelled to warn others to avoid this company at all costs. There is a very good reason they have all 1-star reviews - they truly are that terrible. All the other bad reviews are spot on.
They take your money, don't show up, have terrible customer service, and good luck trying to find someone to cancel your service. And then when you call to complain, they just tell you that you are being unreasonable and a bad customer. I'm not joking, they actually tell you that. We got stuck with them after the family-owned pest control company whom we had been with for years (who were fantastic) sold to Terminix. We were assured that we wouldn't notice any change, except perhaps better service. LOL. How they stay in business is beyond me.

Terminex has been giving me the runaround for a month now. I was going to have them do a pest eradication and gave them my credit card information. The next day I called the agent who had come to my home, and told him I'd have to cancel for urgent personal family reasons. I asked him if my credit card had been charged and he "checked" and said it hadn't.
I was much relieved because we are now facing having to fly back and forth across the country to help out family facing a severe illness back east. I asked him to be sure they don't charge it because I have no idea when or if we will be back at our home because of horrible, pressing family needs. He assured me they wouldn't charge it and would cancel the appt I had set up with him.
Since he and the company had my credit card information, I decided to call my credit card company to flag my account. I was told that my card had indeed been charged, and on the very day I was told it hadn't been - contrary to what I'd been told by their rep. It's been a month now and after many phone calls, one of them with a girl named Amy who assured me she was doing the paperwork while I was on the phone with her to give me my refund.
Since that time my husband and myself have spoken to several different people at the company and each had given us different film flam excuses but have not refunded our money. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. They lie and only care about money not people or customer service!

We called terminix for mice inspection in our condo. MIKAL you rock! Mikal visited our home for inspection. And he was very detailed, and caught the mice entry point beneath dishwasher in just 20 minutes unlike other inspection company who did not even bothered to check to find entry points. PS - WE were very nervous with mice issue as we have 3months old baby.
We heartily thanks Mikal for your expertise in your field. You rock. He cleaned the floor near mice entry point, place mice trapper and was confident with the mice entry point. And guess wat he was correct. That was mice entry point.

Dealing with them is worse than dealing with the pests themselves. We had an appointment that they missed yesterday - ok, now and then things happen and appointments get missed. When I called the 800 number after the appointment window, they had no idea the appointment was missed. They ended up giving me the number for the branch office for ME to go find out what happened and to reschedule. Turns out, the number for the branch is no longer active, which the "customer service" did not know and was just as surprised.
The issue was escalated to the Senior Customer "service" personnel, who promised me that the branch manager would call me back shortly to sort things out, and that the tech would be out the next day (today). Turns out, nobody called me despite being promised twice, and when I called the "service" center, they are now stating the fact that the manager has a long list of complaints to attend to (wow!) and hasn't had the time to get back to me, and besides "24 hours has not elapsed yet".
And that they did not reschedule my appointment for today! But what is now causing me to cancel their regular service is the attitude of the Senior Service personnel - she basically (re)stated all the facts (as in "I don't what happen, I will call the branch manager, and he will call you") and refused to listen to the customer - her attitude was "I have done all I can, so wait and take it up with the branch manager, when (if) he calls you back".
I guess there are other pests control companies out there and terminix is big enough to not care about losing a customer. but from the feedback here, seems like terminix may be "terminal" Perhaps other pests control companies will do better.

The best reviews iv'e seen on the internet, these people know! Listen carefully to the following reviews! This is a very poorly run company, make no mistake! I concur with all reviews that iv'e read! I am a restaurant owner, and consistency is key, they are not consistent, reliable, or dependable! Damage control is great, if you can find a person who gives a bleep!
