Tree Health was founded in 1992 by Peter Felix, a Long Island native and ISA Certified Arborist. Peter started Tree Health to advance expert tree care guided by the arboricultural standards established by his father, Robert Felix, who served for over 25 years as Executive Vice President of the National Arborist Association, the main trade organization of the tree care industry.

Great service, really professional from beginning to end. We had Peter give us a trimming estimate and he was very friendly, he really knows his stuff. told us the tree was in great shape and they would take down any dead branches. The guys arrived early, got to work, and cleaned up very nicely. They removed a big branch hanging over our pool, and a few over our deck too. Tet, (in the office) is such a pleasure to talk with. We highly recommend this company for anyone needing tree service.

A couple of our trees looked like they might present problems for us. I looked up ISA Certified Arborists and Peter Felix, owner of Tree Health was listed. He is also listed as having an ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification. He inspected the trees with no pressure and no hype. My wife and I felt comfortable with his knowledge and approach and arranged for his company to do the work. Tet, the Tree Health office manager nicely, clearly, and accurately communicated at each stage of the quoting, negotiating and scheduling process.
We feel we made the right decision! There were no surprises. Peter and his crew not only dealt with the two trees but did a lot of trimming and cleanup work at a fair price. Ultimately the work was performed artfully and quickly, with expertise, a nice aesthetic sensibility and a respect for nature. We will definitely want to use Peter and Tree Health again!

Tree Health is the most professional tree service around. Don't be alarmed by the quote-- the service is well worth it compared to the other local hacks. Trust me you don't want to cheap out on tree work. I learned the hard way. Peter and his crew are a pleasure and Tet the office manager provides great customer service. Very pleased with this company!

Removed a large evergreen and trimmed a large tulip "maple." Excellent work performed at the price and schedule quoted. Big help from the back office, who's there to schedule, deal with payments and forward questions. Appreciated that the firm didn't ask play the unreported cash payment game, which is common across NY. Would have them back again if needed. Expect to wait in line as they have a quality reputation to maintain.

Hired them to perform a routine tree removal service. Halfway through the service, their machine breaks down and leaked hydraulic fluid all over the driveway. What was suppose to be a 1 to 2 hour job was left incomplete and my driveway a mess. Was told they would come the following Monday, but no one showed up. Nobody called and was left in the dark.
I personally had to follow up and reschedule them to finish the job, almost a week later. Thankfully they did clean up the hydraulic fluid. But do yourself a favor and find another company who will deliver on their word and professionally complete a simple job.

Our project: removal of a large evergreen and two hemlocks, and then a trim job on an eye-popping poplar ("tulip maple"). Tree Health quoted a reasonable price, kept to their proposed schedule, and finished the challenging work with a team of four and two big rigs in a single afternoon. We were very pleased with the results. More light will be mean more native plants and food for the pollinators.
Maybe a bat or two will come visit this summer. It wasn't easy. The trees were not directly accessible to the bucket truck attachment, and many of the branches had to be dragged a considerable distance for removal. Note: Tree specialists in Long Island are a busy lot, and sometimes the hardest part is getting the quote. In this case, the result was worth the wait(s). p.s.
Additional professionalism on display: Tree Health didn't try to negotiate a cash-only, un-auditable transaction. Paying for the project by phone was almost as easy as a Lyft ride.

Amazing Product, Company, People and Service! In East Hills Home owners (Long Islanders) invest copious time and money in our gardens. We also have to protect the environment along with that investment. "Caring for Plants from the Soil Up" is about Organics, Microbial's and Supreme Horticultural Oils. I will swear by the folks from TREE HEALTH!
Safe for the environment, "Activated Compost Teas" (without getting too much into the science of it, ) is going to make you an organic rich soil to lead to really exquisite plant health. Go Green! (Gardeners cannot perform this service. and they add so much pollution to our community as well. Take back some of that carbon abuse and give TREE HEALTH a call.)
