We have a contract for scheduled termite inspections. They never find anything and then a short time later we find termite droppings. Tech was here today in my attic and all of a sudden my living room ceiling started falling down! He stepped where he shouldn't have. Will definitely be cancelling this service

We have had an ant problem every year at this time with the rain. Tired of fighting them on our own, we decided to call Hydrex Pest Control. The technician came today and I was super impressed with her knowledge and professionalism. She really knew where to track down our problem! I will definitely call upon them again for recurring ants, and possibly our gopher battle.

I made an appointment 5 days ahead of time for my only day off this month. Gave them my credit card for payment. They canceled at the last minute when I did not have time to get another company out when I could be home. Called the office for assistance- got none. Lousy service and attitude, must be getting a kick back from the rats.

I was panicked about large raccoons coming right into my kitchen through the pet door and so I left a message at Hydrex after reading good reviews on Yelp. At first I was reluctant to go with a big pest control company like Hydrex because I wanted a local small company with personalized service so I could be more sure of taking care of the raccoon problem in the most humane way possible.
I left a message for Hydrex and several other local companies. Lloyd, who is part of Hydrex, called me back within a few hours on a weekend (no one else even called back) and explained his whole service to me including his sensitivity and care to animals and the parts of his service that pay extra attention to that. He is a real animal lover and really understood the problem of trying to protect my old dog from the raccoons but at the same time caring for wildlife animals which is very important to me. Lloyd was in constant communication with me for over a week until we humanly trapped the animals that were the problem.
I live on the Peninsula in the Bay Area and this was no issue with Lloyd and his team at my home every day for the service they provide. I can't say enough good things about working with Lloyd and his team. The problem is solved and I feel totally taken care of and helped. If you have a raccoon problem, Lloyd and his team are the people I would turn to and recommend.

My wife and I needed a pest inspection for a home purchase recently. Hydrex came highly recommended. They didn't disappoint. The people in the office were incredibly helpful and accommodating especially considering we waited until the last minute to schedule it. Whoops. Our inspector (Dustin) was prompt and courteous. He walked us through the process and what he'd be doing.
He was also very amusing which is a bonus when you're highly wound. Buying a house can be just the tiniest bit stressful. We received the report in short order and found it to be well written and explanatory. All in all, a great experience. You can't go wrong with Hydrex!

Just had to write about technician Chris (a female) who was fabulous! We got Chris out to investigate maggot/flies in our bedroom. She treated it and investigated the area. turns out dead rat carcasses in the attic was causing flies/maggots! She took lots of pictures & recommended further treatment for rodents. Chris had a great demeanor, so professional and explained everything to us.
She is an awesome lady! Although Hydrex wasn't able to complete the intense rodent service required, she recommended another provider and was extremely helpful throughout the process. Thanks so much for great customer service!

I first used Hydrex about five years ago. It was a weekend and the competitor of Hydrex came to my house to get rid of insects flying outside, which I knew had something to do with a dead animal. To my surprise they found nothing and said they would be back out the next week with another crew. That was it. I called Hydrex and the gentleman that was on call Saturday came right over.
He did find a dead possum and rat under the deck. He took care of this immediately. That's when I started using Hydrax on a bi-monthly basis. Since I've used them no little night creatures invading the backyard. The guys come at my convenience believe it or not. I work some early hours and they come earlier. We live in Benicia and have been using Hyredx Pest Control for about 4 years. We have 2 dogs that needed to be corralled inside the house- so I always needed to coordinate the times when they would be here. They always sent a card a week in advance to let you know when to expect them but- I usually ended up calling the day before our scheduled service and they were always very accommodating to change either the time or day.
The women in the office were always really nice about it! We have open space behind our house- which tends to bring all sorts of creatures around- as well as rats! Everything Hydrex did worked quite well at keeping the unwanted creatures out! I especially loved our service guy- Arven. He was always on time or early! He was great with my dogs and they loved him and he is genuinely a nice guy- this all says a lot about the people Hydrex hires!
The only reason we are stopping our service is because we are moving about 3 hours away from here. They provide great service, have great employees and they are affordable. Can't beat that combination! I never thought I would miss my pest control guy!

Very impressed! We were having a terrible ant problem in our new house and I called Hydrex after seeing a great promotion on Yelp. I called on a Saturday, expecting to get an answering machine and was pleasantly surprised to get an actual person. Lloyd was extremely courteous and helpful and offered to come out the next day to help take care of our ant problem!
A Sunday! Lloyd came out in a timely manner on Sunday afternoon and sprayed the house while I left with my family and dog. He said that Hydrex would come back out for a follow up appointment in 30 days, which they did almost to the day! We now have them coming out every two months, but are free to tell them to stop whenever we choose. So refreshing not to be pressured into a contract! I would highly recommend this company for any of your pest problems!
