This is my first Yelp Review although I consult it often. I have to rave about this company. After having terrible experiences w two other pest control companies that were personally recommended to me, in utter frustration I was lucky enough to be recommended to Ezra and Tim. Good, solid people who treat you fairly and have a great work ethic. The problem WILL BE ERADICATED by these gentlemen.

Being a woman *of a certain age* alone in a big house - some contractors would take advantage. Instead, I was treated like Family. In a sea of creeps, this company is an outlier. call them!

Proof it Pest Control did a great job! Entire home inspection for rats, and follow up. Ezra Adams was great with communication and follow up in weeks afterward to check traps. Great job.

I was having a rat problem and my exterminator recommended Proof It. Ezra came out and gave me a quote which I accepted. Ezra and his crew sealed up my house (it took a full day), mainly in the crawl space area under the house. They did have to come back a couple of times before there was no longer an issue, but they were determined to make it right and seemed to finally get it taken care of (apparently a few harder to see access holes remained after the first treatment).

We found rats nesting in our shed, so I called Proof It hoping that they could reduce the problem. Ezra said the only way would be to rat proof the shed, which I thought would be impossible. But he and Jaime did it. When I called later thinking there was still a problem, they responded right away and addressed it. There are traps in there now that haven't been touched, so I know that the problem is solved.

Eight years ago I had a terrible problem with rats and rat mites were eating me alive! They got rid of the rats, proofed the crawlspace and attic, and the rat mites died off without their hosts. The rats are back in nests in our backyard and so are the rat mites. We tried trapping them, but after a week of itchy bites, I am calling in professionals!

Ezra and his team came out to my apartment on short notice and did A+++ amazing work! I live in a small apartment and they got in there on hands and knees to find everything going on. I was facing a mouse problem and they went in there to fix the job THOROUGHLY. They do everything the right way and not just the fast way. Don't even give it a second thought - book them ASAP!

Ezra and his team were great. They came the first time to clean and proof the property for rats, then came back two additional times to check the access points from the roof and crawl space to make sure the problem was resolved. I can highly recommend them.

We used Proof It Pest Control and got great personal service from Ezra. He was very communicative in explaining our pest protection as well as texting us "heads up" on his arrival. Ezra came prepared to spend time in our attic, made necessary repairs and followed up afterwards to check in our our situation. Very professional.

I have used Ezra/Tim for my own needs as well as referred them to people, all of which have been very happy with their work, responsiveness and professionalism. They do carpentry work as well as a variety of other handyman work, so keep that in mind!

Ezra and his crew promptly answered our call, came to our house on time, and found evidence of rats. He then sealed their access points. His crew also installed rat-proof screen around the base of our deck. We were very happy with his communication, expertise and price.

It's been a few years but the work by Tim and his team continues to do the trick. No problems since. We had a massive rat problem. Tim found and closed up all the points of entry, cleared our house of all existing rats running loose and removed over 50 dead rats and a raccoon.

Let me start by saying that Ezera is in the customer service business. I used Proof it about 10 years ago to rodent proof this property. I'd say that's a long time. Just a few weeks ago we had a rodent issue again. The area has a lot of Norwegian Roof Rats. Ezera came out and did his magic replacing many vents and screens. Bottom line no more rodent issues. Thank you Proof it, Tim and Ezera.

We had some rat issues and called Proof It to come assess our rat damage and clean up and sanitize where they had been living. Ezra came out to give us a quote and walked the perimeter of the house to ensure there were no more entry points. He patched up a few spots he noticed from the outside and then began working on sanitizing our kitchen. They did a through job and were here most of the day. Pulled out all of the appliances to clean behind, auctioned under all of our cabinets in the kitchen and cleaned out our entire crawl space. They were fairly priced and professional while working in our home. Hopefully we will not need them again, but we're pleased with their work and would use them again.

Home remedies (traps, sticky pads) failed so I called Proof It. Tim and Eric came out and checked the house from roof to basement. They sealed an access area (dirt under the foundation) with concrete, and other areas with heavy wire mesh. They cleaned out accumulated leaves and pine needles where rats could hide. They pulled contaminated insulation.

After the house was sealed up they set traps. A couple of days later they came back to remove the traps and dead critters, then spray the infested basement with disinfectant. Have not had a single problem since. The guys went into my basement with hazmat suits. that took some guts. Tim and his associate (whose name is Eric, IIRC) were personable and informative. I am happy with the results and would recommend them.

Let me start off by saying that I understand the complexity of the trying to prevent and get rid of rodents, but this is more directed towards the service or lack of. We were referred to Tim by his old business partner and Tim was able to come right out and assess our problem. Business seemed promising. He was going to patch the holes, clear and sanitize the garage, fix the roof vents, fix the stucco, and check for any more possible entrances.

We had a date scheduled to clear our entire garage and to set traps in the meantime. Monday and Tuesday were spent cleaning the garage and Tim had a guy come out to help. He originally quoted us about $850. Josh was AWESOME and very helpful! During the day Tim would stop in to check the progress. He had another guy come and chicken wire over the existing wired holes and he addressed the hole we had in stucco but screwing chicken wire to a board vs actually fixing the stucco which we thought would happen.

We were able to rid the garage of rats but I expressed multiple times of the problem being in the walls. For over a month Tim kept saying he was busy with other jobs, the rain, and vacation but he would come out. He told me 4 different times in the last 3 weeks he would "swing by today or tomorrow" since I expressed to him the problem returned, I'm hearing them in the walls at night and they aren't dead. yes it thinned out, but now they are back in full force and it's as loud as before we even called him.

He kept saying they might be coming underground and drilling to find their hole but why would I let a guy drill into the ground if he didn't even patch the stucco correctly or even come out when he was supposed to?! Business was promising at first but he failed to follow up for a month when the problem returned. When we finally let him go because he was never out here and to hire another guy he charged us $1400! $600 for the rat abatement-so chicken wire and flashing (max $20 in materials!) Let me make it clear that we purchased our own traps and were the ones emptying them.

Never put new mesh on the roof vents nor readdressed the rat problem. Way to go! Rip off for poor service and failure to follow up. it makes me sad because I love to support small and local businesses, but clearly this guy is too busy or our problem is too complex for him.

They effectively got rid of my rodent problem. The owner took time to discuss over the phone what methods they might use when they came out for the inspection and when the tech met with us in person, they took us around and showed us the areas they would need to repair. It was a good experience. We have been rodent free for over 4 months now.
