Adept Pest Consultancy recently helped me out of a really tricky situation, involving pest issues caused by a neighbour. Not only were they professional, knowledgeable and very honest, they were also incredibly understanding and offered reassurance whenever I needed it. My issue went on over several months, due to environmental health having to be involved, and Dave was incredibly helpful and supportive during this time. Used another pest company prior to Adept who did not solve the issue. Would never use another pest company - will tell everyone to use Adept! Thanks so much!

Contacted Adept today about a wasp issue we were having. Spoke to David who was driving at the time but explained that there was a chance that what we thought were wasps was actually masonry bees. He asked if I could send him some images of the insect and he would identify it for us. I sent some images over to David and he confirmed that in fact it wasn't wasps and was masonry bees and they were harmless therefore could be left alone.

I'm super impressed with the fact that David was happy to look into the issue without charging for a call out and was more than informative about the insect. Adept are a compant that appear to genuinely care about good customer service and I have been extreamly impressed with them. I wouldn't hestitate to recommend them to anyone!

I was looking for a pest control company to deal with a wasp nest in an innaccesible loft space. I am over the moon to have found such a great pest control company local to me, and I feel very lucky to have found Adept. David was great and managed to explain the procedure and arrange a time to come out as soon as I called him, he came down the next day to begin work and even took time to explain the procedure in depth. The quote I was given was very reasonable and I am happy with the care taken and quality of the work carried out. All in all a great experience for a scary problem!

We had quite a sizeable wasp nest at our house which was professionally and efficiently dealt with, no more wasps. Advice was given to us and we felt able to call back in case there were any problems, which there weren't. Overall, a brilliant service that I would definitely use again. I was very concerned when I realised I had a problem with grey squirrels inhabiting my loft area as they are known to cause a great deal of damage. I called Adept and John and David were out within the hour. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It took around 4 weeks to fully eliminate the problem with either John or David visiting once per week.

They were then able to proof the entry points to my roof by blocking the gaps and entrances holes with tightly wedged mesh. Their customer service was outstanding and I would highly recommend them.

After several local pest companies unsuccessfully attempted to resolve our rodent problems, we reached out to John from Adept Pest Control. John is very responsive, professional and easy to work with. He inspected the house the next day and started to narrow down the problem very methodically. Within a few weeks he found the root cause (entry point) of the rodents and was able to successfully close it and get rid of the rodent problem.

You can't imagine how happy we are. After more than a year of unsuccessful attempts by multiple pest control engineers we had given up hope. However, John found the entry point fairly soon and we are now confident we no longer have to live with these rodents. Especially, his very structured and professional approach impressed us. A great service offered by Dave at Adept. He visited my property on the day I called, and was able to quickly identify that I had an issue with squirrels in my loft space. He dealt with my problem professionally and always responded very quickly when a return visit was required. This service was great value for money and I would highly recommend this company. I was delighted with the service I received and wouldn't hesitate to use Adept again if ever needed.

I've used other pest removal services to not so great results. John at Adept was quick to respond, professional, punctual, and definitely knew what he was doing. We had a beehive near our deck that needed to be removed and he took care of it. Really feel like you can trust them to not overcharge or up-sell. We will use them again. Highly recommend.

John helped me by putting and end to the pest activity in my new home. He was so thorough and explained everything. His estimate even came with detailed pictures of the attic/crawl space so I could see exactly what he was describing. I love that the goal of the work John did was to seal up openings that were allowing critters to enter in the first place rather than setting traps or putting out bait to manage an ongoing or future problem. I was so pleased with John's work and would recommend him to anyone looking for an honest and knowledgeable pest professional.

Called them for rodent control and clean up of old insulation and putting in new insulation. The estimate for the job was free! The price was so reasonable I had to go with gut instinct on favorable reviews. They did a great job on everything and was very affordable.

Really great service! We had three total rounds of checking for rat probs we had in 1-2 week interval. One star down as an intern(?) was sent to take care and check traps the second time and after waiting 30 mins, on calling the main line, they profusely apologized and tried rescheduling. Also, one time they ran out of time and was in a hurry to get to the next appt, and I wasn't too happy, although he said he took care of all areas.

I thought we missed one time, although owner confirmed he had come out, but he said he will check once again the traps if he's in the area. After a week, he called me up and said he had completely checked and all was good! We didn't have any other probs after.

This is one company that never responds. They had favorable reviews from some folks and I tried to reach then via mobile, voice messages and enquires in their site. Did not receive any callback. Do not waste your time in them.

John was just wonderful. I called his cell phone, which is his line for emergencies as I was pretty shaken up. Bees had started coming through a vent in my ceiling. He came to my house first thing the next morning. He found a pretty large nest up in my attic. He took the nest out and found the opening they were getting through from the outside. He put wire mesh over the opening (I had a vent up there without any mesh lining?).

So thankful for John and so impressed that he made time for me first thing in the morning (I had contacted him at 6pm or so the night prior and he squeezed me right in. I think he realized I was panicking :). Got John in my phone as he will be my go-to going forward. Highly recommend!

John was prompt in responding and spent a lot of time talking to me about how to address our ground rat problem, as we had a burrow in our yard. I was concerned about secondary poisoning of other wildlife and pets and he was very sensitive about it. I learned a lot about rodent habits and he offered non-toxic ways to rid them from our yard. I definitely recommend this company. Smart, caring and professional people.

I was with another pest company for a year, and the ants kept coming back. In addition, the other company ruined the finish on my hardwood floors in places where they applied too much ant spray. My house had ant infestations in nearly every room. In one visit, John was able to get my ant problem under control. He was very thorough, and explained everything he was doing clearly.

He came back after a month to do a re-check, and was happy that the house didn't need much in the way of additional spraying. He was professional and pleasant, and I'm confident that my ant problem will be kept under control with Adept Pest.

Called multiple times and left a message, never got a call back. Don't waste your time calling because they apparently don't want your business.

John completely solved our bird problem at an amazing price. He was always prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly, and returned several times to deal with what ended up being a particularly stubborn bird. If I had any other pest issues in the future, John would be the first person I called.

John is not only great at what he does, he's a very nice person. I called to schedule for him to come assess a mouse issue in the attic. When he came he ended up fixing the problem that same day. I was concerned about how much the service was going to cost because we hadn't discussed it before he did the work, but he said because there was a miscommunication on their part he would charge me less than their normal minimum fee.

He did a great job of closing up the holes where the mice were getting in and came back twice to check the traps. For all this he only charged me $125 (half of the normal $250)! He is a stand-up person and very skilled at what he does. I'd give him 10 starts if I could. :)

Highly Recommend | Courteous, Skilled and Knowledgeable | Family Operated I called several (local) pest control services and Adept was the most punctual in responding and I had an appointment on the books within 5 business days. Come appointment day, I received a call from the contractor, John, to let me know that he was on his way in advance of showing up at my house, giving me ample time to run an errand and be back before he arrived.

When John arrived, our greeting was professional and on the cordial side. He supplied his business card and had shoe covers in hand to protect against tracking the remnants of his last job on his boots into my house. I showed him the problem and he thoroughly explained his process and the expected results. Then he promptly went to work and in less than 20 minutes he was through with the problem area and surveying the rest of the perimeter.

He clipped down two past paper wasp hives and provided some preventative maintenance advice. All in all he was on his way in less than an hour. I received an invoice for the quoted price plus tax and was able to pay online. I appreciate the service and convenience.

I had John come out to look at what I thought was a termite issue. John was very patient and professional, and pointed out that it was a different type of insect that didn't require pest treatment -- I just needed to replace the moisture damaged wood that they feed on. He also gave me good advice on preventative things I can do once I've made the carpentry repairs. I really appreciate how knowledgeable and honest this business is. If I ever run into other pest issues, they'd be one of the first businesses I call.

I use John and his team all the time and I recommend them highly. As a Realtor, I am always looking for reliable, great service that is well priced- and that is what you get with Adept. They have done work on my own home too and my garage is now rodent free!

Re: another reviewers comment below (from Dale P.). John seemed like he was treating him with professionalism and courtesy. John showed up and Dale received a timely email declining the job. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. Also, it's good that John is able to set clear boundaries as to what jobs he is willing to do or not do. I commend him for that.

I called John on another occasion when I heard sounds coming from my chimney. I think we had a little critter or bird that was stuck for an hour or so. John was great at trying to figure out what the sound was and what should be done if the sound continues. He answers his phone for a consult, how cool is that?!

John and Adept Pest Solutions do not demonstrate professionalism and courtesy. They don't do what they say they will do and, instead, send rude emails. I spoke with John and he committed to show up at my house to do an inspection while my general contractor was there to grant him access. Coincidentally, the 2nd company bidding on the work (Orkin) was there at the same time; overlapping times were not intended.

Later that day, John sent me a condescending email saying, "I went by your building.and met up the Orkin guy. Occasionally a client will schedule several Pest Control Professionals for an inspection all on the same day and time; typically I walk away from that circus. At Adept Pest Solutions we very busy and our time in valuable. We are fortunate to attract most of our clients through referral who generally show consideration and respect for our time, expertise and experience.

At this time, this is a project I wouldn't be comfortable getting involved with." Results? He did not complete the inspection he committed to do. Instead, he sent the above rude email.

I've used John and his company for an ant issue that I recently had. They were able to squeeze me into their schedule when I had the time not when they had the time. The ants are gone and it the price was incredibly good. I've referred Adept Pest Solutions to several others with rodent and insect problems. I will keep their card handy but hopefully won't be needing it anytime soon.
