They never caught even one mole, after several weeks of trapping and $400. I just want other people to know going in that they don't trap until they catch something. There are no guarantees. They only trap for a set number of weeks, with them coming out once a week. The good thing about the company was the tech coming out was always polite. But there was some unclear communication with the receptionist about pricing and how bids/contracts work, so we ended up paying double what we thought we had to.

I don't think it was deliberate misrepresentation.it was more like miscommunication. She didn't make it perfectly clear that we would have to pay again for them to come out for more weeks of trapping when my husband called to let them know there was more mole activity. She phrased it like, "we don't have to do a new bid, we can just go off your old bid." My husband thought it meant we didn't have to pay more, but it turned out that is not what she meant.

When asked by the tech after their second round of trapping if I wanted to sign up for another contract, I said "it doesn't seem to be doing any good, you haven't caught anything, so no." There's still a mole (or moles) tearing up our back yard, leaving round mounds everywhere. So we are trying to trap it ourselves now with a device (Mole Eliminator) that had good reviews online. Fingers crossed we can get it ourselves.

I've used the same independent company for carpenter ant control for almost 20 years. I felt stuck when I had to find a new provider. I'm on a fixed income and social security doesn't allow for much expansion on bills! Joe Gutierrez advocated for my needs and sprayed a preventative treatment for carpenter ants for a reasonable price. Joe was professional, caring, knowledgeable, polite, and pleasant to work with. Good Earth came to my home to evaluate a problem with flying ants in my living room window inside my home. The technician was thoughtful and took his time to inspect the problem and the exterior perimeter of the house. He located the problem areas and offered a solution which was very effective. The ants are gone. The technician was professional, competent, and courteous, and the fee was fair and reasonable. It was a pleasure to do business with this company; I highly recommend them.

I will know more after we live with the results for a bit. Adam was polite, called before he arrived, and inspected the house before treating it. He wrote a mask. (Thank you for that.) Professional, starting point to calling Good Earth Pest Company, my call was taken, great questions asked, polite, respectful, listening to my quest. I was given a date for a technician to come out. I was told an email would be sent with a date along with a picture of technician Brandon Falnnagan. First class at the office. I received a call from Brandon, on Tuesday as scheduled, he was on his way.

When Brandon drove up. I looked at the service vehicle. Clean, well maintained, says al lot before the technician steps out. Brandon stepped up to the door dressed in company shirt, introduced himself with a smile. I invited Brandon in, he placed covers over his shoes. (THOUGHTFUL) We addressed the issues I was having with aunts. We covered the areas, Brandon went along with his inspection.

My situation covered fire alarm, attic, outside areas. After inspection, Brandon shined as professional as he introduced himself. Knowledge of the trade, knowledge of products, explaining every aspect of products. Product that are safe for the home owner/pets/plants. The products I was using as a past spray applicator, I was controlling the issue.

Good Earth Pest Company came to our home after having ants appear from ceilings in living room last evening. We called Good Earth Pest. Have only lived in this location number of months. Our call was very complete and same day arrived Josh. He has been so good with explaining all on the ants and there life style. He checked entire home. Adam was on time and very professional! I walked him through our ant problem inside, he checked the outside of the house, he made a couple of suggestions and walked me through the options we had for treatment. We decided to start service today and use them quarterly (with service as needed in between, part of their guarantee). Adam baited inside and sprayed outside, he also trimmed a bush to keep the ants from transferring from it to the house and swept cobwebs under the eaves. All this and he was super patient with my 4 year old who wanted to talk to him the whole time! Thanks Good Earth!

A trap left yesterday by Good Earth caught a rat who was still alive. I called them first thing & they got someone here within minutes! He was quick & cleaned up taking the hurt rodent away to be humanely dealt with. I am so glad to have this service. They are professional, prompt & good at what they do. A great service! Daren at good earth is the best! I don't know how he does it but after he sprays I don't see spiders or bugs for weeks. if you see any bugs in between services they send someone out within a couple days. I Highly recommend.

They have been out to our home for various reasons several times and are always reliable, affordable, friendly and environmentally focused. Highly recommend!

Good Earth Pest are very knowledgeable and consistently provide excellent customer service. They provide quarterly service for our home and call to remind us when they are coming. This has significantly reduce aggressive house spiders indoors. On Friday afternoon, right before Memorial Day, we called for help since we had thousands of small flying insects swarming and landing on the north side of our home. Sara answered the phone and jumped into action.

Within five minutes she had contacted Josh, who regularly does the work at our house. We were in luck. Josh was working close by and drove right over. He determined they were a cloud of midges and had a spray on hand to solve the problem. The midges left and we were very happy. Thanks Sara and Josh very much for your great service with a smile! My entire experience from the front office staff to the technicians has been professional with awesome customer service. I received a phone call from Herschel and Louis to let me know they were on their way and when they arrived they got right to work. They came to do an inspection for rodents and afterwards clearly explained our options and helped us identify some short term measures. I felt confident in their assessment and look forward to working with them on the long term solutions for our home. Highly recommend!

This service is ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS. Total waste of money and and a month and a half of time. Paid $275 for the initial treatment about a month and a half ago for spiders and ants and as of this morning still have just as many spiders and ants as we did before we hired them. Unlike EVERY other pest control company we've ever used, Good Earth refuses to treat interior entry points like windows, doors, baseboards, under sinks, etc. AT ALL.

They simply spray chemicals outside and promise that will fix everything. Their philosophy is to create a barrier on the exterior of the building that bugs won't cross. Nice idea in theory maybe, but in practice, not so much. They left 3 ant traps which supposedly "kill the nest" but every time we put it near an ant entry as instructed by Good Earth, they simply stopped using it and found another way in.

If there were also an interior barrier, this wouldn't keep happening. Called them back out 3 weeks ago to retreat because we still had ants and spiders, especially inside. Again, they refused to treat inside and sprayed outside to "reinforce the barrier" as the technician explained. Evidently the bugs didn't get the memo about the barrier because yesterday morning I watched as a 2" diameter spider walked across the so-called barrier unscathed and into the house like he owned the place.

About an hour later I killed another spider walking on the side of the house toward the door, and killed a third one setting up a web near the ceiling in our kitchen, and killed a 4th one on the wall in my office. Also found another entry point for ants in our front room, so had to treat that as well. So I'm killing 4+ spiders a day AND still killing ants with Raid AFTER paying $275 plus $100/month for pest control!

And this morning I woke up to about 250 ants covering the table where we keep our coffee maker and sealed k-cups. I followed the solid trail of ants leading down the table leg and to the bottom corner of the sliding glass door where they had gained entry. So I called to cancel service. The girl asked why and I told her it was because there had been no reduction in bugs and I was going to call a company who would create an interior barrier. She said "we can do that". I told her both techs told me they wouldn't do that and all she could say was "oh". GOOD EARTH IS FIRED.

I had a contract with Good Earth Pest Company for 2 years after they completed an exclusion on my house for control of rodents, rats. I was super satisfied with their service and it seemed affordable. Unfortunately I continued to have problems with the rats getting in and they failed to solve the problem. The rats chewed thru my vents in the roof.

I found that out while getting in the attic. Good Earth came and rescreened the vents. It seems like it should have occurred to them to check the vents. They did a great job of putting heavy duty metal mesh over the vents Along the foundation or so it seemed. I just was alerted by another rat company that I paid to come do a walk thru that the vent was not completely covered at the top, hidden under the siding.and that it flexed plenty for rats to get in.

Unfortunately I no longer have a contract with Good Earth and when I called them to tell them about the gap they were unapologetic and said they would need to charge to come out in 3 weeks. Another point of entry overlooked by Good Earth was where the fascia boards meet the sheeting on my roof.an error on the roofers part that didn't put metal flashing there.

Why Good Earth didn't check that area is beyond me.especially after they chewed thru the vents. Unfortunately that entry caused so much damage we had our insulation removed and replaced.it was actually how we found the light streaming in thru the entry. Lastly.they built a different door for our access under the house and in doing so made it even smaller by adding 2x4's inside the opening, way too small for reasonable access.

Their technicians are nice nice and polite.but When it comes down to it they did not do what they said they would do and we suffered the expensive consequences after putting our trust in their hands.

I love this company! The office receptionist is incredibly nice and organized. Brandon, our pest guy, is also super nice as well as knowledgeable and efficient. I've had to call a few times because different pests have shown up as we were doing construction on our home. Even though they are very busy, they've always come out quickly to take care of any problems. We've been dealing with a lot of businesses and service providers during the last 6 months and I always wish that they were as professional and on top of it as Good Earth Pest. I can't say enough good things about them!

The technician showed up and told me what the bugs were. I was impressed that he said not to worry and didn't try to sell me any services. Thanks Good Earth for your integrity. When I do need help, you are the guys I call.

These guys do a horrible job. I spent $1400 to get rid of the rat problem at my place. They only came by two times out of the promised 4. Worst people to do business with. liars and cheats. They also don't repair the holes inside the the house or outside apparently since I still have a rat problem. CALL EUGENE RAT CONTROL

I'm allergic to stinging bugs. They have taken care of my wasp nests quickly and professionally. Excellent communication with the office and the techs when on the property.

I called them in for a rodent inspection of our very old house. The technician was timely, courteous, and very friendly. While they don't offer the services we would need to fix the issue (gap bet side porch and siding), he offered advice on what we could do. Since he didn't need to perform a full inspection, they didn't even charge us.

I thought that was very professional and smart. That makes it more likely we'll call them again! He did notice an ant issue, which we frequently have to address. If we decided to call a professional to handle it, it will definitely be them!

Incredible service. I had them out to my home to address an infestation of an unknown bug. They quickly figured out what it was and how to get rid of it. Worked like a charm. First rate company.

I contacted Good Earth to remove a few Hornets nests at my home. Since they didn't need to treat the nests.just remove them.they didn't even charge me! I was astounded and very pleased. The gentleman that removed the nests also gave me a comprehensive education about all the native bees in Oregon. I will definitely use Good Earth for any future needs!

I love working with Good Earth Pest Company. There isn't a classier outfit in the area. In addition to the great service and fair pricing, what I think I appreciate most about Good Earth Pest is their focus on the employees. It shows in the smiles and cheerfulness at every level to the professionalism and respect in timeliness, communication and simple respect. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Plus, they are local and family owned, so they really do get the Valley and care.

Update: after contacting the owner, the owner's son came to my house to look at the work that was done. He seemed concerned and listened to my complaints. He did agree to rework most of the job that I was not happy with. His employees completed the work to my satisfaction. As a result I will upgrade from 1 star to 4 stars.

After having trouble finding a pest company that would actually help us with a wildlife critter, Good Earth Pest came to the rescue. They sent a technician out to survey the situation and discovered we had a possum underneath the house. They gave us guidance on what to do and sent a wildlife trapper the following week. Kent was able to give us more suggestions to help. We believe the critter left the crawl space, but Kent gave us pointers on how to make sure this took place. Two thumbs up to Good Earth Pest

Just experienced wonderful service from Good Earth Pest Co. Joe, one of the inspectors, just came by and helped with the wasp problem I've been having around my house. He was very friendly, honest, and professional. Will definitely be calling them again whenever I have a need!

We've received their quarterly sprays for ant control for a few years now. Over the last two+ months I've had a mouse problem growing in urgency and when they called to remind me of their tech coming out, I asked if they could look and do a mouse eval, too. Brian came out this morning and was SUCH a helpful man! He found where the first mice were getting in (on the roof, no less) and quickly patched the hole. He left me with a double snap trap to try and catch a few of the stragglers, too. Thank you!

Ben Kesecker was amazing! He was thorough and meticulous, personable and professional, exceptionally knowledgeable, and generous with answering my many questions. The free inspection lasted over two hours, and Ben offered lots of great tips even before I hired him. He even made a few unsolicited house repairs - a remarkable and unexpected value added.

If only everyone who worked on my house were half as competent and easy to work with as Ben! He even won over my shy dog. The costs were reasonable, the company takes credit cards, the office is flexible with scheduling, and everyone is friendly. Also, Ben and the other techs who've been out have all been on time, which is convenient for anyone who has a life outside of home maintenance. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
