I established an annual service plan with Atlas, which was recently bought out by American Pest. What a mess! Very disorganized company. No one knows what the other is doing. They were supposed to come to my house for annual Sentricon servicing. After confirming with them that I did not need to be home (all of the Sentricon stations are outside), I went about my day.
When I returned home I found a note lying in the front yard. Something to the effect of "we couldn't service your property today [no reason given], the office will contact you to reschedule." Of course, I never heard from anyone. I called today, about three weeks later, and was told that they would send someone out and that I did not need to be home.
I asked why the house wasn't treated on the last visit. Don't know. I asked what is involved in the Sentricon servicing and was told they "just put a piece of plain wood in the bait station and then if there is evidence if activity they will treat that station." This is in direct contrast to what I was told when I set up this service (all stations are baited when we place them and maintained thereafter). and how Sentricon explains how their system works on their own web site!
I'm also not sure why I would have paid over a thousand dollars to have the system installed and over $300 annually to have it maintained if they're just putting "a piece of wood" into the bait stations. I have lost all faith in this messy, disorganized company. Too bad I had to spend almost $2000 to learn not to trust them.

My initial contract was with Capitol Pest Control until they merged with American Pest Control. Upon this merger, I found that customer service with American Pest Control is extremely poor. Communication among the customer office staff, technicians, and scheduling office is completely lacking. The various entities don't seem to have a clue what is going on and staff seem to be rather rude. I will not be renewing my contract when it expires and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Dwayne was great. Friendly & cheerful, and businesslike. He thoroughly explained what he was doing to get rid of the sugar ants, and advised us what to do and what not to do for the next two weeks. This company does a good job servicing our entire condominium complex. We have not had any pest problems except sime years during Spring rains in all the years we have luved here. here.

Where do I start, terrible service and poor customer support. Would avoid this company at ALL cost. This company acquired our previous termite/pest company and everything went downhill from there. They "dropped" my phone calls three times while being transferred and blamed it on their poor phone service. When finally reached a manger, Tonya Hammer, she promised to try and resolve my issue at their company meeting and get to me the next day, - yet this was 3 days ago and I haven't heard back from her or anyone else.
They refuse to HONOR the contract I signed with our old termite company (1.5 years ago) saying it was before the acquisition. I paid upfront for all the services provided with the condition to treat the basement at a later time. Fast-forward to now, even though AMERICAN PEST acquired their customer base you'd think they also follow through with the liabilities.
The worst part is that it's impossible to reach a decision maker who can actually help as they seem interested in doing so. Do I add that they have raised the price from $350 to $400 within a year for yearly services? Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere else

I did a pre-examination of the inside of my home and discovered several openings/holes. During my visit the gentleman who serviced my home filled all the openings that I previously discovered. He also performed his own inspection. He looked for mouse droppings inside and outside my home and he also searched for additional openings that would allow a rodent to gain access to my home.
He laid traps and sprayed outside my house. Because he could not gain access to my crawlspace (water), he placed a deterrent device outside the opening to the crawlspace. The service provider was professional, on time, courteous, and attentive to my concerns and questions.

My technicians were very knowledgable! Even though it did not appear we have any active infestations, they gave me several areas to keep an eye on that may become trouble issues later on. I also very much appreciated their communication before the appointment, and that they came when they said they would! Services: Termite inspection, General pest inspection
