Having tree roaches around or possibly in your home is a fact of life in Texas. I self treated my home for years, but I was done because it didn't seem I was successful anymore in winning the war! I called mike's and explained the details of my situation. The representative that I spoke with was very knowledgeable and up front with all the prices.
Initially I was going to do only a one time treatment, but I was so happy with the fast, obvious, positive results I called back and said sign me up for quarterly service! The techs that have come to my home have been very thorough, friendly, and most importantly nice to my dog who is a spoiled brat that thinks she's human. I like that Mike's is flexible with the dates of my service. In my opinion Mike's prices are very affordable and we are hoping to work with Mike's to keep our home tree roach free for a lot of years to come!

We have been having issues with German Roaches and when I say problem, i mean months and months. I contacted Mike's Pest Control and they were awesome! Very nice, informative, and to the point. They scheduled my appointment, told me what to do to prep my house, then answered any questions I called back with. The gentleman that came, Benjamin, was very nice and helpful.
My fiance was impressed with his help and service. The treatment worked! And we have seen a substantial and immediate change in our problem! Will definitely use them in future issues!

Buyer Beware. I'm on contract with Mikes Pest Control. Been using their service for 3 years, however lately their service is lacking. I was informed that treatment has a 90 day warranty when in reality there is no warranty. They won't come back out and correct a job when done poorly. I have had ant infestation since March and they claimed to treat it in May but it has done nothing to curb the ants.
I call and get them to retreat and state they don't have any appointments until months later, by then its time for my quaterly treatment anyway. Very underhanded and corrupt. They lie about their warranty and claim they made a service call treating the outside even though the same ants and same mounds are still there. They were once good and ethical, now they take money and don't backup their work. Update: Manager stated that quarterly contract work only is for the edges of your home, they don't do anything in the yard.
If you have ant mounds in your yard they charge $150.00 on top of the quaterly service fee of $90.00. If you have questions or don't hear well the manager gets upset and frustrated and stats "she doesn't want to repeat herself". Customer service is lacking as well as professionalism. Never had a manager call me back just to mad at me and get upset with my disability in hearing. I'm shocked.

Thank you Mike's Pest Control (MPC) and thank you Nicky! I used MPC for the first time about a year ago. They came, they were professional, courteous, and expedient. THen I bought a home, and with the inspection I received free pest control. The only problem was, the other company was late and unprofessional, and seemed uninterested in having us use their business. So, I called MPC again, and things are great once again. Also, special shout-out to Nicky for helping me with some last minute scheduling issues. Fantastic customer service at all levels!

I messaged them via their Facebook page on Saturday and I understand they are not open but expected them to contact me on Monday. I even messaged them again on Monday morning and received no response so I called them at 3:30. The girl who answered the phone said that the office manager must not have checked the messages and they are really busy and cannot come out until next Monday.
She talked so fast and seemed in a rush to get off the phone. Plus they charge $59 to come out to inspect for rodents. I contacted another local company that can come out in 2 days and they do not charge for a rodent inspection. I am a small business owner and social media is an important marketing and communication tool and customers these days expect quick responses from inquiries. Looks like they have enough business and don't have time or the need to acquire new customers in the area.

I'm highly disappointed in our experience with Mike's pest control. I spoke with Nikki at first for an initial quote about the raccoon pest control issue that we were having and weren't sure if it was a raccoon or a racoon with babies and Nikki originally referred us out. However, after shopping around it sounded like Mike's would be the best option because of the daily check up.
The rep I called back and spoke to said specifically I don't know who told you but yes we do pest control for raccoons and scheduled a technician to come out on 6/1/20. Today I learned The technician came out and said the removal of the raccoons cannot be done because two were babies and referred us out again. When I called back For clarification about what happened today Nikki responded and sounded distracted on the phone with one of her coworkers and told me the only referral they have was the one that she gave and that I should Google to look for any other ones and said that they explained everything to my minor nephew and said something to me like "we explained why to somebody and didn't they explain it to you?" and then she hung up on me. Obviously, not which is why I called for an explanation and I would have preferred if they had called me to explain their rationale rather than to a kid. This was a very poor customer service. I wouldn't recommend at all after being hung up on.

Please note the positive reviews were from years ago! I am very disappointed on how far in quality the company has dropped over a short period of time. Within days of spraying I am getting more pests in my condo and they will not come respray due to not having emptied the pantries. I called beforehand to ask what needed to be done and was told to clean and make sure there was nothing against the baseboards.
Not once did they mention the cabinet or pantry until the sprayer arrived which was too late for me to empty. In addition, I received a small discount ($20) because I was surprised by the price. The manager Casey told me as a negotiation tactic for me to receive another service that the discount came out of the technician's pay. The do not even care about their employees.
She is rude and a poor manager. Please beware of this company. They do not care about you, your service, or their technicians. I am sorry to hear about how far this company has fallen. It used to be the best service and now they don't care about the customer.

Russell came out to our home and did our initial pest control application. He was very receptive in addressing my wife's concerns and I was impressed with his professional appearance and presentation. As a result we have signed up for ongoing service. Mike's Pest Control was a disappointment. The person answering acted angry and was talking loud and fast. I hold her I he a possum or raccoon incoming in my attic. The first time I called they had just hung up. She talked over me. Anyway the technician arrived an hour earlier interrupting another TNMP appt. He looked around and told me it was probably a possum pulling off 2 soffit vents.
For $300 they bring a trap and relocate. No help with repairs. He said they'd have to charge me $300 for every single thing as $2 soffit vent and I am kinda SOL and just need a cheap handyman after they rid me of that animal! Or I can do it myself with sardines and buy a cage. Single f/62/125. ScaredSo I paid him his fee and he left. Called to speak to owner next day. Advised of tech's bad attitude and weird prices.
He said Crummy ATTITUDE is not his problem and basically was not interested. Too bad they are down the street from my neighborhood. I guess the have so many customers they don't care as validated by all 3 company reps. :-/

Mike's Pest Control has been my pest control service for three years now, and in that time I've never had a bad interaction. They're responsive, prompt, professional, friendly--everything you'd want in a home service. Their prices are competitive, their people are excellent, and their customer service is above par. I choose Mikes Pest Control for a client because I have always heard great things. First off they are locally owned and operated and has been around for many years. They are very thorough during the treatment process and explains the procedure in detail. After a few visits their treatment process worked great. I called and scheduled an appointment one week in advance. I made the appointment for 8:00am on a Tuesday and rearranged my schedule to make sure I was home to greet the technician. The technician arrived at 7:45am which was great. Earlier I had parked my car at the end of the driveway because I did not want the technician parking in my driveway. I was paying for an outdoor flea treatment only.
I did not want the technician to block me in my driveway in case I needed to leave before he had completed the treatment. There is plenty of street parking as well as a small parking area to the right side of my house (I live next door to a museum and it happened to be closed at the time of service). The technician comes to my door and I confirm I only want the flea treatment outside.
I am trying to get myself and my toddler ready so I ask if I can pay him now so he goes to his truck to make the ticket. I pay him in cash and sign the paperwork. I inform him that my car is parked at the end of the driveway because I will need to leave for work soon. I close the door and go finish getting ready for work. Ten minutes pass and there is more knocking at my door.
The technician is at my door with money in hand. He tells me he needs to start the service or he needs to leave. I ask him what is the problem since I had already paid him and signed the paperwork. He tells me that he needs to unload the tank and how is he supposed to do that if I am parked in my driveway. I told him I don't understand and I take the money back from him.
I thank him for coming to my house and tell him I won't be calling his business to reschedule the treatment. I don't understand what happened here?! There is plenty of parking all around my house. I know that he must service homes that do not offer driveway parking!

I had heard excellent things from coworkers about Mike's Pest Control and wanted to stay local if I could. I knew immediately when the technician showed up exactly on time that I found what I needed. The technician, Mark, was timely, fair, and quoted a reasonable price for what I needed and not a dime more. He was also extremely courteous and about not tracking in any dirt after a recent rain. He earned a customer for the company. I look forward to dealing with these guys quarterly and really appreciate the service.
