The inspection was professional but the follow up email with pricing details wasn't clear and my email with questions was never answered. I had to contact the office 2 weeks later asking for clarification. We didn't receive clear information about what time our service would be performed so I again had to call the office to find out when they would be arriving.
It was very hot and humid so I did feel bad for the guys providing the service until they were gone and I saw that they had completely trampled several expensive plants in our flower beds. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and professional but several hundred dollars worth of plants and hours of my hard work destroyed is unacceptable.

I was disappointed with this service. I needed termite extermination. The person who came to check the problem and provide the estimate was professional. I found it strange to get my estimate online which ended in my spam folder. I didn't find it all that complete. The technician who came to do the work seemed okay but he ended up disrupting my burglar alarm wires.
It cost me over $500 to repair the damage. The technician also left debris in the workspace and did not attempt to move things in my yard back to their original spots. I complained to his supervisor and demanded to be reimbursed for the damage. The supervisor called me back two days later. I explained my concerns. No apology was provided. I am still awaiting the invoice for the work.
I was advised that it would take 2-3 weeks. I would not recommend this firm to my friends because of all these problems. They are not customer focused. I am not confident about the quality of their work.

Kieth was super professional and prompt. At the first meet his approach was like talking to an old friend. Very knowledgeable and accommodating! For the second inspection he called me a couple hours ahead of time and asked about the first treatment. I stated that I noticed a couple ticks on the last couple weeks so he took it upon himself to offer to do a little extra praying closer to my home. Overall experience, solely based on kieth and customer service over the phone is that I will be using them for all my future pest exterminating needs!

We are very pleased with the service so far. I called today and they came out this afternoon. The gentleman on the phone was courteous and helpful. The technician was excellent. He explained things and seemed very thorough. He was willing to address our concerns, listen and provide feedback. I'm looking forward to seeing no insects and working with Keith again. Thanks Orkin!

Only left 4 stars as of now because I want to give it time to see how well it works! We live on 21 acres and have bugs like crazy but I spotted a roach and was not messing around with that. I called them and they were very informative and he was out here in less than 48 hours! Have them coming back every other month currently so fingers crossed!

Truly horrible service. Could not process my request via their 800 number to reflect the two simple services I want done, did not show up twice in a row. Once I actually caught the orkin truck outside- the day I was supposed to have an appt- just listening to the radio, did not come in, no calls or texts or ringing my doorbell. Astonishing this company is in business.

My place of employment uses Orkin. Today while Sam, our Tech was servicing our business, a funeral procession passed by. Sam went above and beyond to stop and stand facing the road, almost at attention, in respect for the procession. He then continued his treatment service. It's little things like this that show the professionalism and higher standards that Orkin and Sam have! I just wanted others to know the professionalism of Orkin and their techs!

They are very communicative and always keep me informed of the dates and times of service, the technician's progress and arrival times and when there will be any charges to my account. Do not use this company. Avoid at all cost. I have been requesting a full refund for weeks, for failure to deliver any meaningful service, since they did nothing they promised or advertised, and they continue to ignore me. After setting up an appointment in early January, the technician finally arrived at the end of the appointed time window. Despite me telling the company in advance that the attic was the main area of concern, the technician was fully unprepared as he did not have a ladder to utilize.
He did not do any visual inspections for access points, nor did he treat any other parts of the house. We spend 15 minutes signing paperwork, he set three rat traps in the basement, and then left, saying he would need to re-schedule and bring another technician to assist. Once we finally re-scheduled, I was informed he still did not have a ladder to access the attic, and that I'd have pay extra for additional services, none of which had been delivered at this point.
At that point I informed the company I was unhappy with their work effort, and I wanted a full refund since they had delivered no meaningful work to date. After 4 calls so far trying to secure my refund, each time I've been told "management will call me back, " I've heard from no one. So I am still trying to get my money back. Honestly, avoid at all costs for termite services. They are expensive and not afraid to lie to you. Finally having time to sit down and write a review but our experience was terrible here with the inspector/sales guy. We were in contact with Derrick Nesbitt (who has other negative reviews here) who was supposed to come and inspect the property, but all he did was sell.
I get it, BUT he only wants to talk to the "decision maker", so even though my mom and I were present and she is part owner of the home, my dad had to be there as well. He was very condescending about it too. We had specific termite issues in one room of our house which was newly painted, so my dad wanted to ensure that they would NOT be drilling any holes.
He asked Derrick twice to clarify that no holes would be drilled in order to complete the operations. Derrick repeatedly said no and would make a motion that the tech would be drilling into the ground and pumping the product into the wall to kill out the termites. This option was more expensive than other companies, but it was VERY important to us that we do not drill holes in the newly painted wall.
Come service day and the technician starts drilling holes directly into the wall. He has to drill about 4 of them on each corner of the window so it's a substantial amount. We stopped the technician since we specified that we did not want ANY holes to be drilled straight into the newly painted wall and wanted the under the floor solution Derrick played out for us. Turns out they had no such technology at the time.
We called Derrick and he said we never asked about how they would get rid of the termites and he never specified how it would be done - he just kept lying. The tech left shortly after because we did not want anymore holes so that was that. We got a partial refund but honestly even though our service was a year ago it's left such a bad taste in my mouth.
Maybe things have changed, but highly recommend you avoid the sales person we had to deal with. We had to reach out the branch office and force our way through a partial refund since we did get some service, but not the service we were sold. Giving 2 stars for the tech and office branch who did nothing wrong and technically helped us get rid of termites, but so not worth the experience.

Called yesterday to make an appointment and they were here the next day by 1130am! We have a couple neighbors that have bug issues and do not want them moving in here. Our technician Jeff was very friendly and helpful! I feel much better knowing I do not have to worry about unwanted visitors! Lol I highly recommend Orkin! Thank you so much!

First scheduled appointment the guy showed up 45 min late. The next appointment they were on time but didn't have their bug identifier or their outside sprayer. Tried to convince me it was too cold for them to spray outside. I called bs on them and then they agreed to come back the next day and did. For $280 service that took less than an hour I should have to force people to provide the service that is advertised.
Also they had no idea what was causing my issue and basically said I'll see you again in 30 days. Totally different response from the on-site guy from the call center. Call center said we will absolutely get you taken care of but the guy on-site was basically clueless and was saying I don't know what to do.

As first time home buyers these companies will always be needed and appreciated. But this company purely sucks. The customer service down to the technicians. On multiple occasions we have waited all day, passed hour windows with no phone calls. When the tech arrives they are often rude- not all- but most, as well as always having an excuse as to why the job can't be done that day. Better off going with a local company

Well worth 50 a month for spiders, ants, and mice! They quickly got rid of our mouse problem and gladly came in between monthly treatments if I saw a spider problem or evidence of other pests for no extra charge. Always responsive and great. Definitely would recommend! Services: Spiders, Rodents, Ants, Inspection

Never use their service! Just find a better company because these people will send you to collections saying you didn't pay but I even have my receipt as proof! Idiots they kept calling me asking for my credit card but I kept telling them I already paid and that I even have my receipt and they still never fixed it in their system. Anyways the guy just look around my house for 10 mins and charged me $95 to tell me I didn't have any pests.
He didn't even check thoroughly. And if he stole the money that's not my problem. I paid in cash bc I read reviews about how they double charge people all the time and I didn't want that to happen to me. They still messed up though and they're unprofessional and very disorganized. You will regret using their service if you choose them

Tony from the Oakland Residential Branch provided outstanding customer service! He was detailed on his work and finished on timely fashion. He explained to us on how he will conduct his work and he did not disappoint at all. I haven't seen a single ant or any bug since. Very prompt and quick. I called late one night and was able to set up an appointment immediately, and although there was a scheduling conflict, I was given a discount for sticking with them. The tech that came out was very thorough and helpful in describing the situation and what I can do to help. Immediate results look great, looking forward to seeing how effective the long-term treatment is.

The representative that took our call was very courteous and was able to squeeze us in same day. I will never use another company. Orkin has our business for life!

Terrible company. I had the sales office telling me one price and details about the contract and the actual pest control person telling me something completely different. I didn't go with them in the end, as I wasn't sure what I was getting involved in. The pest control person seemed to suggest once engaged in any contract with Orkin there was no way out and customers struggle to get out of any contracts.

Worst customer service ever. I told Orkin that I have locked gates so needed to have an appointment for bait station inspections. I stayed home to unlock the gates for three appointments and was stood up for all three of them. As my annual fee was becoming due, I called and asked for an inspection. The person I spoke with said she had left a message with their termite inspection division. They never called back. I'm done with Orkin. I highly recommend "Time Up Termite" instead.

I had been using an exterminator called EcoShield to control bugs at my home. EcoShield apparently was acquired by Orkin, and Orkin got my credit card information from them. Orkin showed up twice. For what should have been the 3rd visit, no one showed up but I was billed $165 anyway. I phoned Orkin to let them know. The phone rep said she tried to send a technician twice, but again, no one showed up.
So I fired Orkin in favor of a small local exterminator. I asked for my $165 back but it was never refunded to my credit card. Today I got an email alerting me to my next Orkin visit. I had to call them and remind them I had fired them months ago and they still owed me $165. Now they say it's "too late" to refund my money. Don't hire Orkin. They can't be trusted to show up or to refund your money for non-service. This was Orkin branch #438, which I believe is based in Livermore, CA.

I have an account in Hayward that uses Orkin. They've dropped the ball twice now on an estimate for termite treatment. They do monthly service at this house. They're the ones who said there was termite stuff and offered to have it estimated for tenting or treatment while on their normal monthly visit. To no show twice without calling is completely ridiculous. Accountability is everything when dealing with a vendor.

I had made an appointment to get rodent control work done between 12-2pm. This unprofessional agent Robin calls as if people are sitting on their hands and waiting for Orkin. Instead of requesting, tells me that she will come at 2p so it will be a 2-4p window. When I say I have another appointment, as if it was in a non English language she repeats the same thing. This is a terrible company and hope they get the least business than others. Whoever runs this company should find another job.

Horrible experience with Orkin. We had a termite inspection done today by a very unprofessional person. He was pressuring us to sign a "non obligatory" agreement when we didn't decide on what we were going to do yet. He had a complete sales approach with the whole transaction. When i told him we were going to check out other companies as well he got very upset and said "I took the day off to come here", he got loud, even lowered his mask to raise his voice and was pointing his fingers.
He then began to say that we would have to pay an additional fee if we decided to go with them and if they have to come back. Absolutely the worse experience I've ever had. I will never use Orkin and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I had awful bites and suspected bed bugs -- the Orkin technician came to my home, inspected for bed bugs, allegedly found bed bugs, and then quoted me about $4,000 for heat treatment to eradicate the bed bugs. I was skeptical. I then hired Scent Tek (which uses trained dogs) and Scent Tek found ZERO bed bugs. Trained sniffer dogs are the gold standard for bed bug detection - even the Orkin guy was raving about them - because Orkin said that after I paid the $4K, Orkin would use their trained dogs to ensure that no bed bugs remained. If you are worried that you have bed bugs, please use Scent Tek. They only do inspections (no services), so they have no incentive to find a problem that doesn't exist.

Customer service not the best, when you call it's like they are bother. My mother called using the Spanish option and they have you wait and then the call gets disconnected, why have the option if it's not available?!?! Pest control not really working, don't feel they care about the customer concerns.

Zero star if Possible. We are a couple living in an apartment complex. We found a possible roach on our glue trap last Wednesday. Even though we haven't seen a live one since, I insist on getting pest control involved. Our leasing office helped us get an appointment with Orkin for that Friday. After reading orkin's preparation sheet, we figured that clearing out our cabinets won't be an easy job.
So we went ahead and rent a storage unit to store the stuff. Since the moving would take days, we called in last week to reschedule our appointment to this week. After transferring 5 times, I finally reached the right department and got my appointment for Tuesday. Fast forward to today, the appointment day, we purposefully took a day off and moved all our furnitures accordingly.
We patiently waited for the technician to come in at our appointment time 10am. Nobody showed up at our door. So we went outside the building and tried to look for the Orkin car. We didn't spot one. I left my number when I rescheduled my appointment, but I received 0 call/0 voicemail/0 email regarding this no show situation. For anyone considering orkin's pest control service, please save yourself some time and find reliable pest control service elsewhere.
Now I have to go back and move EVERYTHING back. All the moving around for nothing. Thanks again for adding unnecessary stress and despair to our life. Honestly, I wish I just bought a bug spray in target or something instead of wasting so much time with this company.
