From the initial call to the service, Char and Brett were amazing. Friendly, helpful, and just down to earth. Makes life less stressful and more meaningful. Brett treated the foundation and sprayed some trees for ants. He explained how it worked, said they should be gone in couple days.omg, no signs the next morning. I think I'll stick Koby Pest and the gang. going bi-monthly for sure! They are just amazingly friendly, and job was executed more ways than 1. Thank you Char and Brett

I hired Koby pest because we heard a rat in our attic. I was told the initial visit was $250. I thought I was investing in comprehensive pest control, but all they actually did was lay some poison holders on my property and throw some poison around my attic. I was told I would not be charged again when they came back to check how extensive the problem was, but they refilled the poison holders on my property anyways and charged me $85. Getting ahold of them to pay my bill was ridiculous, I called 6 times over the course of a few weeks and could never get ahold of someone who could take my payment.
They came again and refilled the traps on my property without notifying me. So over the 3 months they "managed" my pest problem they only came in my home on the initial visit. They charged me over $400 in 3 months for "strong" rat poison. Ridiculous.

The office staff are friendly and professional. I expressed my concern about having poisons sprayed around my flower gardens. However, recent ant invasion in our home prompted me to call them. Business owner, Mike, personally came and sprayed in & outside our home. He took extra care spraying around my flower beds. Thanks Koby for being "the best" AND for being community-minded. It has 3 weeks and I have been living without carpenter ants, piss ants, carpenter bees, or those pesky pheromone bee things. Loving life! I've used Kobe on and off for a few years and had no complaints. Unfortunately they put the health of my dogs at risk by spraying when we were not home and our dogs were outside. It was a "sub" who did the work. He didn't show for the first appointment and sprayed when we weren't home. I told him several times that we need to be there to bring the dogs in.
My smallest dog was ill the next day. I called Koby and explained everything. They said a manager would call. I never got a return phone call but I did get a bill. I'm not going to sue them but the public should be aware of this event.

One afternoon we noticed some gross bugs flying around our upstairs windows - due to the steep incline on the property these windows are quite high. I was alarmed by these invaders and knew we needed to respond quickly. I called Koby and the person who answered the phone immediately recognized the problem as flying ants and assured me that we weren't the only ones experiencing this kind of event.
She was able to send someone out the very next day. The person who came to our house communicated well with us during the day and arrived right on time. As he looked around we mentioned a mother-in-law unit on the property that could also use treatment. Even though that unit wasn't part of our original request, he said he could do it and adjusted the price accordingly (a very reasonable adjustment, btw). This was the first time we had ever called Koby and were impressed with their service from start to finish. We definitely recommend them.

Have been using this service since we purchased our Pollock Pines home in October of 2017. At that time, we had evidence of mice in the garage and out buildings, as well as a "very" healthy exterior spider population. Since we started, the mice have retreated back into the woods, and spiders are rarely seen (including an almost nonexistent amount of webs). Koby Pest Control takes the time to not only spray and refill bait traps, but also manually removes any webs located on the house during each visit (something that other companies rarely do). I truly appreciate their efforts and the pride they take in their work!

Hard to love a pest control company, but Mike ( I presume the owner ) came out and did a very thorough inspection and job for a tricky issue, at a very reasonable cost. I had used another service a couple of weeks earlier and had no particular issues with them, but Mike was much more thorough and helpful compared to them, and much more reasonably priced. I'm glad I thought to try a couple of companies.

Not sure what all the 5 star ratings are for here. My experience has not been 5 star at all. I called to schedule service in the middle of a weekday. Got a live anwering service. Left all of my info and was told I would be "contacted as soon as the girls got back from lunch" Well, that never happened. Decided to email them about it directly to give them another chance before leaving a bad review. No reply to my email either. If this is a 5 star company, its not 5 star this week. Im going to spend my money elswhere. Good luck all.

Extremely pleased with Koby Pest Control! We had a rodent problem and they came right out when I called. Wow, Greg is super professional and thorough. He checked our entire structure for entry point, checked the attic, and then found the source under the house. He has called weekly and come out to follow up and get rid of our pests! He is personable and very accommodating. Superior service!

I called Koby's to deal with an ant problem at my rental house. They were responsive and the ants are gone. I called them a second time to deal with bats that had made their home in the attic. They put up a cone so the bats could fly out, but not back in. The bats are gone, they screened off the openings so I won't have this problem again. I am happy, my tenants are happy. The did exactly what I asked and in a timely manor.

It's been a while, but I thought a follow up was necessary. The weekend Koby Pest Control left the trap, a squirrel was caught (duh.) One squirrel in one trap, while the others lived happily in our attic. We called to tell let them know about the caught squirrel, but no one at the office answered (likely because it was the weekend. Which made little sense to me - what were we supposed to do with the squirrel?) We left a message.
Then we were left with a squirrel in a box that we were apparently just supposed to let sit in there until the weekend was over. We're not lousy people, so we felt bad and finally let the squirrel loose on Monday, since no one had gotten back to us. They eventually did get back to us that same day, but we had already set the squirrel free (in a field a few miles away) so we told them to just pick up the traps and be done with it.
He was very quick to arrive this time. I was asked if any squirrels were caught and I said explained that we did and that we called and eventually had to let it go since no one got back to us. I was then told "You should have called us - I would have come to pick it up." I responded with, again "I DID call, and left a message. No one picked up or called us back." I got a mild apology, the traps were loaded, and everyone went on their merry way.
We later found out that the property manager was told that the guy who picked up the traps set the squirrel free and now the company wanted to be paid for their service. We told the property manager that this was NOT true and that WE had set the squirrel free after no response. The traps and method did absolutely nothing, and the squirrels are still running rampant in the attic to this day (there are more, now.) Not happy to hear that, after everything, the property manager was lied to (or at the very least, the correct information was not properly relayed and the company expected to be paid for doing absolutely nothing.) Future customers beware. I hope Koby Pest Control has learned their lesson.

The stars are for the lovely lady who took my call. A few weeks ago I called to get an estimate for dealing with rodents in an old closed up cabin on my rural property in El Dorado County. The woman I was speaking to turned to ask the owner, who had apparently come into the room and I heard the owner flat out say "we're not doing it we're not doing rodents right now.
Too many and we're booked-up." She was pretty terse about it. She didn't even offer to schedule me out a few weeks which I said I was willing to do. The other review said to 'support local businesses'. well, I tried.

This is a business who deserves your business. I won a free spray treatment at a school fundraiser, they ended up honoring my discount coupon for additional services as well as coming back 3 times to make sure the bugs were wiped out! This is truly honorable. Many times I see Koby's name on the doner list for charities. That is why I would call Koby if I need pest services. We need to support community minded companies.
