I hired the services of DCAC. Briana was the business partner who took care of the animals that were surrounding my property. I usually don't leave reviews, but it would not be fair this time not to share the great experience I had. Briana was professional, always on time and very knowledgeable. Thank you so much for your service. And I hope my review helps someone who needs animal control.

I called Delaware County Animal Control to remove a family raccoons in my attic. They quoted me an estimate of setting up a trap on the along the ground along the animal path into my home. $252 to set the trap, an additional $72.79 to pick up and remove per animal. About a week later, a large adult raccoon was trapped, they removed and wanted to reset another trap in the same spot on the ground.
I declined, I did not want to pay to trap all the wildlife of South Philadelphia. No attempt was used to use a sensory screen to get the mother to get the babies out, or any excavate/extraction attempt was made other than a trap on the ground. No attempt was made to close off entry into the property from future wildlife. Delaware County Animal Control removed the mother, and left the babies in my attic.
They suggested I call a roofer. I haven't heard from them since. About a week later, a foul smell emitted from the property. I called another wildlife removal service for a solution.

I wish I could give a zero. This company operates under multiple names and gives incorrect information about animal removal. I never received service because the CSR guy said i called another company and refused to serve me. All I want to do is humanely remove the squirrels in my attic- I'm glad I didn't give this shady company my business. Completely rude and unprofessional.

I am leaving a review regarding a phone call placed around 6pm. I completely understand that you guys do not deal with lost dogs. Most of your guys replies to other comments mention that you " tried to explain it". but that is not the case. Man who answered the phone was very rude about it. I assume that typically when people find lost dogs they panic and want to get help immediately.
When you search " what to do with lost dog near me" your guys company is one of the first search results. Yes, it clearly states wildlife in title but I would maybe change around that to the first word and make it more clear to people if you care that much and are not going to show any empathy. Very poor business model. If you want people to actually call you guys for help I WOULD SUGGEST being more empathic to the situation and providing the potential future customer with an alternate option.
Instead when I called they just hung up. I get it you probably get that question a lot but if you TOOK UR TIME to help I'm more then sure someone would be glad to call when they have a wildlife problem in the future. You guys are really ruining future customers for yourselves one call at a time. I hope you take this review and do something positive with it. Also, for whoever reading this I urge you not to reply saying that's not the case like in many other replies. You know that's not true. I truly wish you the best and hope you guys turn this company around.

Around 6PM, we called inquiring what to do with a lost dog.the nastiest guy picked up the phone and immediately responded "we don't deal with dogs". after asking for assistance in who we may call for help or what they think we should do, the guy responded "once again we don't deal with dogs". we were simply asking for help with what to do next or any suggestions they may have and without giving us the time of day, they immediately hung up the phone. wouldn't trust them with any animals unfortunately :/ seems they don't care

We have been dealing with squirrels in our walls for months, but the last few days we've been stuck listening to one running around in the ceiling overhead. It's been awful but this morning one of them got into the basement! It was the last straw, and we called Delaware County Animal Control. Jayci showed up not long after with a net and a trap and solved our problem within a few minutes. She took a quick look around the basement and coaxed the squirrel into a trap. I can't express how relieved and grateful we are! Wish we had called her months ago!

This is not a municipal service despite them using a deceptive name making people think they are. this is a for profit exterminator. they wanted to charge me over $200 to trap foxes in our back yard suffering from mange, and refused to say if they would even help them. the wildlife rehabber we found said this company would have just euthanized them and charged us for it.
