Bruce Donaldson, owner and CEO of Ranger Termite and Pest Control, began his Pest Control career with a company that started the once-a-year pest control program. After working for that company for ten years, and becoming a manager over the St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Tampa, FL areas, he decided to take the knowledge he has gained, add to it and start his own company.
While in the nymph state, termites diverge into different castes: workers, soldiers, reproductives, and supplementary reproductives. Workers are blind, wingless termites that maintain the colony, build and repair the nest and tubes, forage for food, and care for the other termites. They are the most numerous caste and the most likely to be found in infested wood.
Outside roach and ant baits: We set up these baits in select mulch sites, wood piles, planting beds, and other, more outlying areas of your yard because that's where ants and various other insects such as Palmetto bugs live. Specially formulated granular repellents: We place these materials on the soil and in the shrubbery areas immediately adjacent to your home to drive pests away.

Our family had a fantastic experience with Ranger Pest Control. I found evidence of termites outside my garage and got three quotes - Ranger was not only the lowest cost option, but their sales/quotation process was much more straight forward and pleasant than the others. When Bruce's team came around to treat our house they had a team of 4 guys who quickly and professionally went about their work. I would highly recommend!

These guys are the best.they are friendly, honest, hardworking and reliable. The owner Bruce gives you the cost of the services directly. Not like other places that take weeks to get you the invoice and when it comes it's so complicated you need to study it to get the cost. This is a family run business and Patrick who is very nice and knowledgeable explained everything that was being done that day to Aunt Lori who is so sweet when she answers the phone. We had a great experience with this company! I am very pregnant and was not at all excited to find termites in my new home, obviously. Bruce, the owner, came out the very next day to inspect the problem area. He was honest and clear about the financial estimate, their warranty, why they don't tent anymore, a timeline and what to expect when his crew came out.
His 2 man crew came out the next week, I believe he said one of them was his son. They were very kind, wore masks the whole time, answered our 500 questions and appeared very through. They continually reassured us to call if we needed anything else or found new/continued problems. I was overall very unexcited to deal with this at 38 weeks pregnant. Luckily everyone with this company was very kind and made it stress free. I would definitely recommend them!

I am extremely impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of those employed by Ranger Flea & Pest Control Service. I'm very pleased I contracted them to handle my extermination needs! Bruce came to my home first to evaluate my situation and give me a free estimate. Then Andrew, a lovely young man, came to my home and gave my home an extremely thorough extermination!
